I just got home and decided to see what was going on in the world of disboards today and noticed that nothing much. I guess everyone was busy today.

Well i started to finalize my plans and ADR's. Now all i need to do is run it by DH (not that he really has a say in our vacation, makes him feel good) wait i still need to book the vacation... wow now i really need DH to give me the Ok.... i have it in the bag though.... my DD2 already told my DH she want mickey mouse and daisy.....

Slow day on the old MAYer thread yesterday.
Nothing much going on here this weekend. Soccer's over. I'm a little bored! Hey, only six months until vacation!! Wow that's too long.

I was so busy with the mini vacation i just went on I neglected to book this one. I'm actually going to do it next weekend when our finances are a little more stable. With this vacation I left practically nothing in our bank account. But it's ok and this weekend with our paychecks I basically paid the other bills. so next week it is.... I'm actually waiting to see if he changes his mind and wants to stay at the CSR. we'll see..

Hi everyone - it seems like I haven't been here for months and it has only been a few days.

First off, very cool pics of all of your pumpkins and your adorable children in the costumes. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Mari - I am sorry to hear about the passing of your cousin. My prayers for peace and comfort are going out to your family during this difficult time.

Jo - I loved your Halloween story - are you also afraid to go into the HM too? Your kids costumes were very kewl.

DMM - Glad to hear that Roman is growing big and strong - praying for his ears.

JC - Cool pumpkins! Thanks for sharing the pics!

Huggie - Awesome costume pics of your girls! My wife says they are so sweet!

Ok - I guess it is "official" now??? My got her castmember tag this week!

This week my wife had a new hires orientation meeting at WDS Monday. One of the neat things she found out is that she has access to the Walt Disney archives. She can go in and view old movies, research Disney history and a myriad of other neat things. Another neat thing is that they do each week is "Minnie Movies" on Fridays. Classic Disney film footage is shown weekly. Yesterday they presented "Walt's Epcot Film" which WD shares his dream and vision for WDW and Epcot. In a few weeks they are showing "Holiday Time at Dinseyland" that was produced in 1962.

My wife also found out there is a Partners Statue at the studios! What is cool about this one is that you can actually go right up to it and stand right up next to Walt and Mickey. She is definitely going to get a few pics of that!

My wife is really enjoying her time here.

I'm happy that she is enjoying her job at DL. to tell u the truth i'm a bit jealous. but I'm happy for her. I love her castmember tag. She definitely needs to go take pictures iwth walt and mickey. all you get to do at WDW is stand in front of the statue....

Yes, they do give discounts to their employees. They have a web site for employees that have all the details. We haven't had a chance to look them over in depth, but later on today, when my wife comes back home, I will have her log in and take a look at it and let you know what I find out.
