Argh...posts are all out of order...

Just saying hi...hopefully they'll get this fixed soon!

hey Mayers

I have on hot pink fingernail polish and it is distracting the fool out of me. Yes, I type looking at my hands every so often--- a little tidbit ya didn't even know about ole' Jo.;)

Everything here is going okay. Slow, but what can ya do????? The kids are out of school, finally, and we were supposed to leave for Charleston yesterday. :worried: We couldn't b/c we don't have the house listed yet and i refuse to leave before that happens.

So--- we wait. DH has told everyone that it had better be up before Tuesday. I'm playing it by ear as to when to leave with the kiddos-- thinking MAYBE tomorrow. We have family from Florida coming to my MIL's house to see us on Thursday, so we have to be there for that.

MAri-- oooohhhhh--- Brown Leather!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE leather couches. Is this your first? You will never go back to anything else. When the babies were tiny we had white fabric couches and there were little chocolate mouth prints all over them, so cute. With leather, you wipe and go. love it. And the Bose system... Mark will be so jealous. He's always wanting to get a Bose and I won't let him, LOL. I'd always rather he spend it on a trip to WDW. He makes the money and I spend it.:rotfl2: I hope your Dss feels better soon. That's awful.

NC- so is the foil kitchen all the rage in Arkansas now? Do I need to request that with my realtor????????:rotfl2: :rotfl2: We are so excited to be coming back.

RF- beautiful pics!!!!! You are so happy and cute together!

Sea---- how's it going?

Katiebell- hope your weekend goes smoothly.

Huggie- Hey girl. How are you? Hope you're doing well.

hey Shelly- dining report is awesome.

Hey to everyone else.

Gotta run.
Have a great weekend.

The bose my DH loves that he says ok to WDW and i have to say yes to something bose....it all started with the Bose wave radio for my DD bedroom...then we got the bose system for the computer... and now surround sound..... i think it's too much money....but hey it's his money and it sounds great. we don't even have a radio in my house. we just use the computer if people come over.

Argh...posts are all out of order...

Just saying hi...hopefully they'll get this fixed soon!

I know i hate the crazy dis....

Oh i forgot... Jo pink nails..... cute.... don't stare at them too much.... i gotta go get ready for a party.... talk to you guys later.

CAN'T WAIT!!! :lovestruc

I HOPE EVERYONE ELSE HAS A FANTASTIC WEEKEND!!!

I'LL LET YOU GUYS KNOW HOW THE SHOW WAS!

Hi Everyone!

Well, we were going to go to Lake Degrey this weekend with some friends of ours. They have a brand new ski boat that seats 12 or 15 people. :confused3 It sounds wonderful. Arkansas has some beautiful lakes. I grew up in Arkadelphia which is on Lake Degrey. I was a lake rat in the summer. When we were old enough to drive we would get up in the morning and throw on a swim suit and go to the lake and stay there until sunset or later. We skied and tubed and layed out. It was a blast!

Well, Thursday, my dh was driving a company car and was rear ended. He thought he was fine, last night he got home from work around 7:45 and took off his shoe. HOLY COW! His pinky toe on his right foot was swollen and black and blue. That toe is so broken. He was so sore he could hardly move his neck. So I called our friends and told them we couldn't go. DH is on the couch sleeping right now. Bless his heart. He feels lousy. Hopefully he will feel better tomorrow.

Mari - Congrats on the bose and new furniture. Post a pic! I would love to see it! It is so fun to get new furniture.

Jo - I have started a new trend in AR. Foiled kitchens ARE all the rage! It will cost ya! Especially if you get custom foiling like I got!

Did anyone get the July issue of Southern Living? There is an article in there about someone who redid their kitchen. They replaced their laminate countertops with "solid surface" counter tops (it looks like corian to me, which I have Corian), they painted the white cabinets a creamy color and painted the white island cabinets a tan color. They are replacing their appiances with stainless one by one as they go out. Is that a sign? Is this what I should do? I am so confused.

OMG - Here is the article on line:

http://www.southernliving.com/southern/homes/ideas/slideshow/0,14243,1813169,00.html

I can't tell what color the cooktop is the after photo. :headache:

Our cooktop is 34", standard size is 30" or 36". Jenn Air is the only company that makes a 34". It only comes in black or white. Ours is white. I either need to have this one repaired and hope that it works better or replace it. But I don't want to replace it with the same thing! :headache:

I just don't know what to do.

Yuck!

RF - Have a great time at Peter Pan tonight. Dinner reservations? Where did you go?

Sea - How are ya? Are you at DL today? Talk to you guys soon.

Katie - How's it going? Do you have your Montana trip lined out?

I think I am going to google broken toe.

Patricia

hey nc! i think that it MUST be a sign for your kitchen! that picture is georgeous! that is exactly what i want to do with my kitchen (when i have one - haha) :lmao:

i looooveee the distressed beachy looking cabinets - but for the walls i like a color like this:

http://www.thenest.com/odb/themes/decor/DetailView.aspx?type=15&room_type=Entryway&id=16755

actually i just adore that entryway in general - i am absolutely in love with that door! it is my favorite! .... anyways i like that color or maybe a little more of a coral color for a kitchen but ...:confused3 who am i ?

anyways - i say GO FOR IT!! that's just my 2 cents!! :thumbsup2

and last night we went to a place called lidia's for dinner - the link is above - i love this place! they have a trio pasta tasting where they give you 3 homemade AMAZING pasta's (you can tell that they are just trying to "clean out the kitchen cubbard" with them) - but they are always unique and incredible! They have servers walking around the dining room with the steaming hot saute pans asking which you want more of... mmmmm.... soooo good!

ok gotta go! see you guys tomorrow!!!

Morning all..... i hope everyone's weekend was great... mine was ok...i hate my house right now. My living room is a mess...you see we got a new tv and couches and surround sound but we still haven't gotten rid of the old ones.... mind you i have a 52" projection tv one of those big ones we upgraded to a flat screen now but now i have EVERYTHING in my living room. the person that is taking it is coming from about 1 hour away and can't make until this weekend... i think i'll shoot myself if i see my living room like that so i have been avoiding it...

NC - i'll post a pic once my living room is in order...

RF - that place sounds yummy....

NC, well even the before pic looks better than my kitchen :lmao: But I agree, it's very nice, the after pic looks fresher and cleaner, more updated. How is your DH's toe doing? Got my plane ticket for Montana, just gotta arrange a rental car. I will be leaving on 7/12 and coming back 7/18. Cross your fingers for me that everything goes smoothly...

Mari, beautiful new furniture! I love the look of leather, but could never have it, worried my kitty would shred it.

RF, how was Peter Pan? Glad you had a nice dinner :goodvibes

Sea...is the smoke getting any better down south? It's been awful up here for like a week, finally started letting up a little this weekend, but still not clear, our sky is still not really blue :sad2:

yeah i have a cat too and so far so good.... for right now i have sheets covering them.... but my cat meow was good with our old sofas... what she likes is my DD floor... my dd has the foam floor in her room... now that is a mess....i'd rather her play with that then my furniture...

Morning!

RF- It sounds like you guys had a great date night! That pasta place sounds yummy! I tried to look at your paint color but couldn't see it in the link. Sorry!

Katie - DH's toe is so much better. It is still swollen but not as much. He was able to put his shoe on this morning for work. It is still bruised but not quite as bad, it has lightened up so much. If it were my toe it would still be solid black. It will not be long until your Montana trip. 12 or 13 days. I would think Montana would be lovely this time of year. Not too hot!

Mari - Your new furniture looks awesome! I love PB! Your house sounds like mine right now. I have a King mattress and box spring in my living room as well as my old TV and TV cabinet. If only I can find a good home for those! I have someone that wants the TV and cabinet, but that was mid April and they still haven't picked it up. I think I may have found a home for the box springs but not the mattress. :confused3

Have a great day!

Oh, I bought my plane tickets for Vegas!!! :woohoo:

Hello all! :goodvibes

NC - congrats on the plane tickets to Vegas! I've never been there. Never been out west period. . . . Hope you have a great time!

:yay: Hi Mari & Katie!

RF - How was Peter Pan? Hey, I finally remembered to ask DH if his company was hiring. I will PM you!

I finished up my dining report this weekend.

Anyone see Wall-E? I am going to take the boys one day this week hopefully. They are cleaning the basement today so they can go!! :woohoo:

Where have all the MAYers gone??? It's so quiet in here anymore. . . I miss the old days!! :lmao:

hey everyone!!! :yay:

looks like i logged on at a good time! there's more than just me in here! :lmao:

peter pan was soooooo flippin cute! i want to go again! the scene where they meet the indians and dance with them is usually my least favorite part in the movie and was DEFINATELY my favorite part of the show!!! it was awesome! they did like a "stomp" kind of a thing where they all had drumsticks and would hit them off of the ground and themselves and had a really amazing choreographed dance along with it - very cool.

oh, and captain hook was my favorite! he was hilarious and the actor played him really flamboyant and over the top! when he was first introduced - all of the children in the audience boo'd him and he was in the middle of a line and he just stopped, looked at the audience and said "Oh, grow up!" ... then later Cap hook and the pirates did the tango and it was so funny! i loved it!

overall - very cute!! bob and i both loved it!

how's everyone else?!

nc - i'm bummed you couldn't see that pic - it's so cute - here i'll try 1 more time... pixiedust:

http://www.sherwin-williams.com/do_it_yourself/paint_colors/color_trends/2007/sultry_origins/

here is the link from peter pan -

http://www.pittsburghclo.org/

the cap'n hook tango (3rd video in) is there! - it doesn't really do it justice - it was wa-a-ay funnier than it seems on video - and so is the stomp thing (last video)

and if you watch far enough and you see the 2nd cap'n hook song (right before the dance with the indians) to me it sound's like the song about Gaston in beauty & the beast :confused3 .... maybe that's just me

We went to see Wall-E on Saturday night, just my wife and I went - a date! We both thought it was a great movie. Very creative and visually stunning. It is a very good love story. My sons saw the movie Friday morning and they both loved it too...my oldest is on a quest to find a remote controlled Wall-E! He told us it was favorite picture of all time.

awww sea! that sounds like a great date! how old are your sons? i don't think i ever asked...

shelly - any decisions on the dates for your next trip? i am re-considering feb.... i am just afraid of lots of rehabs in value season - DH and I are big time riders! we love them all! i just don't want one of my fav's to be closed! i would be sooo bummed :guilty:

Hi RF! Glad you had a great time at the show. Thanks for sharing the links! I rode Peter Pan last night - it was a blast!
