Hi Sea! The boys can't wait to see Wall-E!

RF - We were considering Jan 28 - Feb 3. Then realized that the superbowl is on Feb 1 in Tampa and WDW is expecting crowds. So now we are looking at Jan 21 - Jan 27. Wanting to leave that Wed evening after work and school, and coming back on the following Tues afternoon. . . That puts us after MLKJr day and before the superbowl! I am a little worried about things being closed, but figure that there is so much to do that it won't be that big of a deal. Hopefully! WDW should have the January calendar out tomorrow! I know that the parks will close earlier, but I am thinking that we could cover so much more ground with less crowds and not being so stinking hot that it won't really matter. And even if it is "chilly", I'm still thinking that 65 degrees will feel great to us coming from Pittsburgh in Jan!

Nothings set yet. Still hoping for a good offer to come my way!

i am still trying to wait and see what kind of offers are available for different times of year also... i just know about the may offer (free WP and More) and the free dining in sept (but i don't want to wait that long).... i am thinking about doing a "WDW IMAGINARY TRIP TICKER" just so i see some kind of a countdown going

today it'll be may - tomorrow february .... then who knows!! haha

I finished up my dining report this weekend.

Anyone see Wall-E? I am going to take the boys one day this week hopefully. They are cleaning the basement today so they can go!!

i LOVED wall-E... very cute movie. My DD loved it....

We went to see Wall-E on Saturday night, just my wife and I went - a date! We both thought it was a great movie. Very creative and visually stunning. It is a very good love story. My sons saw the movie Friday morning and they both loved it too...my oldest is on a quest to find a remote controlled Wall-E! He told us it was favorite picture of all time.

hey they have remote controlled wall e's in toys r us.... i say them there for like 40.... maybe he should look there....

Guy's I still like the month of May to visit WDW it just seems to me that any other month i have an issue with it.... i'm still hoping to convince my DH to go next year.... he wants something else but lately everytime we see a WDW commercial my DD stays quiet staring at the TV then turns around and says "i want to go to Disneyworld again" i want the fireworks in cinderella castle..... brings a tear to my eye and i noticed my DH is staring to come around.... let's see what happens....

Thank you RF - my meow i would kill her if she did anything to those couches... plus with the conditioner they sent if there is a scuff or nail mark it covers it up... now if she cuts through it there isnt' anything that can be done....

Hi Shelly - Hi! I think your boys will like Wall-E too. Hey, about WDW next year...there are rumors that they might be closing the parks DHS and AK for one day a week (different days) because of the economic slowdown. I suspect they will be making an announcement soon.

Hmm. . . That's interesting. . . Hadn't heard that one. Is it going to be just during the slower months or all the time? I would think they would have that figured out before they post the Jan calendar on their website. I hope so anyway! You kind of need to know these things when making plans and ADR's and so on!

Yeah Mari, I thought May 2007 was great! Not so much this year. 94-95 is just too hot for me! The kids were dragging and tired and miserable out in that. Hopefully it was just a fluke and you will have great weather if you go next May. I always watch the weather for Orlando and I haven't seen it that hot again since we were down there. Even this week it's only around 90.


I have faith that you and your DD can guilt your DH into going next year!!

WOW Sea, that sure is an interesting article. It seems like they are going to wait and see what happens this fall and then go from there. So where does that leave us when planning for next fall??? And it makes me think that I should just go ahead and book my airfare at $109 each way because it's likely to get a lot higher. . . But hey, maybe they will be offering free dining all next year!!

Shelly - I think there will be some incredible deals, like free dining, that they will use to draw people into resorts. They need to keep the resorts filled up. The worse thing for a hotel to have any night is a empty room. Expect some good deals really soon.
