Off to Texarkana today! We are helping our in-laws with some projects around the house.

MOrning Mayer..... well i have a busy day ahead of me... I have 2 baseball games to go to starting at 1pm... then i have a babyshower to go to at 6:30pm... but before that i have to go to the mall to pick up a gift.... so i'll be outt of my house by lets say...10:30am...

Good morning!

So yesterday we went and looked at a new school for our son - the one he is at is closing . He is going to take a placement test on Monday afternoon. So, I am glad we are getting that settled about that issue.

My BIL and I went to see Iron Man last night at the Directors Guild on Sunset Blvd. We had a blast, good film, great theater and no children (LOL!). Go see the flick great fun, lots of action and there is even a great scene with the Santa Monica Pier and the ferris wheel in it!

Today is pretty filled up. Waiting for a electrician and then going over to my MIL to hire a new gardener. Then tonight, we are going to my moms for a bbq to celebrate my wife's, my brother and my mom's birthdays.

Ok...I am off!

you guys definately are tough! i knew that already (obviously, because you made it to the finals also) but, seriously!!!! omg! they are not kidding when they say #1 defense in the league!!!
anyways good luck to your boys! i hope they break a leg tonight!! (no seriously - i hope there are broken legs in red jerseys)

Well, we always root for the Sharks first, because San Jose is only 130 miles away, so they are like our "home team". And the Anaheim Ducks, of course, because I consider Disneyland to be my REAL hometown (I was born in Bellflower, which is in the LA area). But...since neither of them are in the playoffs, then we have to root for the Wings because DH is from Detroit The game is just getting going now, 1-1, and DS17 is here, DS22 is golfing with some buddies from work, but he should be over here afterward, and we are going to BBQ burgers and hotdogs, corn on the cob, yum!

i just cannot believe the way that malkin is playing ... seriously - i know that everyone in the world is all about sid (as am i ... but i digress) but i really feel that geno is our star - and ... i have no explination for him the last 4 games ....

they did play hard - both teams - and it's definately not over - believe me - i am NOT one of those bandwagon fans, i will be with my boys til the bloody end

....but we definately have some FIERCE competition

Hey guys...well it is not a good morning out here today...a big fire on the Universal Studios lot:

I have heard that the New York and London Streets and a soundstage are on fire. There was a movie production going on when the fire broke out.

This is about 20 miles from my home.

Bummer!

Fire update: The King Kong attraction on the studio tour has been destroyed and the video archives building is currently on fire. They tried to take out as many video tapes as possible before the building was engulfed. They have been fighting the fire with water drops from helicopters because the water pressure hasn't been consistently strong. The theme park and city walk are closed and might open later on today.

Above is a link to their website. We have this card. We use it for our WDW vacations. You earn points or reward dollars up to $750 a year. You will earn one (1) Disney Dream Reward Dollar® for every one hundred (100) dollars in net purchases.

In the past, we have used ours to help pay for our room. When you are ready to redeem your reward dollars, you order a Disney Visa Reward Card and can download the rewards dollars to the reward card, then you can spend them at WDW, the Disney Store, and other Disney related type places. This past vacation, we used ours for food, and misc. purchases at WDW. We decided we enjoyed that more than applying it to the room, as each time we used it, we felt like we were getting a "free" meal. So I guess you could call that the NewCrews "free dining plan".
