Sulley- we'll be there on the 23rd of October- but we will be in Epcot onMonday the 27th ( for the morning-)
and then we'll be back in Epcot on Thursday 10/30 all day and again Friday Halloween with dinner at LeCellier. That's all tentative of course, LOL. We want to ride M:S for sure, though. Will you be working any of those days?

NC- I am literally 3 minutes from the Promenade. :rolleyes1 I'll have to give you my #'s so you can call me next time you're up here. Will you be tailgating before the FL game? Maybe we could see each other then. Where are your seats? We are waiting on the U of FL to send ours- they better hurry up- I'm getting impatient-- we will be in the UF section. Look for the girl passing out when she gets an eye full of Tim Tebow. That would be me. :cheer2: Lord have mercy upon my soul but that boy is awesome.:lmao: :lmao:

Katiebell- We haven't done the carriage ride there at POFQ, but it looks like such a romantic time. I hope you will love it there. I am so ready to go back. Your plans look great. I have never eaten at Tangerine before.
Are they offering two Spectro's when you are there? IF so, do the second one. Almost like having your very own parade.

This is for everyone- if you want the very best seats ever- pm me and I will tell you where I think is an awesome place. A lot lot lot of characters pause right in front of you and greet you. I'll be happy to share the spot with the MAYers.:snooty:

Mari- will you get your 2 or 4 year RN? That is awesome you figured out what you want to do. What part of NC are you going to? my Godparents live in Charlotte. Right now he is on a missions trip to Cuba and we are all so worried about him in the Hurricane.

RF- WE usually try to come back to the resort to wash up before supper- we feel so much better that way- so it really doesn't matter which park we've been in. Most of the time we look at TGM's best days and go from there. We will be eating at Ohana in October after being in MK all day, but we will be going back to the room before.

I am trying to upload my pics from WY- I can't wait for y'all to see them.

Jo

Where have been anyway??? Did your computer get lost in the move??? :lmao: :goodvibes

Hey Shelly-
no the computer didn't get lost you'd think it did, huh???:lmao: .... Mark has been working long hours and travelling every weekend since we moved in. So he finally got the chance to hook it up this weekend and I am so happy!:surfweb:

How's your trip plans going? You're telling the boys on Christmas morning, aren't you? How are you giving it away???

Jo

NC - Do you guys have plans brewing for another WDW trip for '09 or are you gonna wait a little while? I don't remember hearing you talk about a plan in the works yet.... popcorn::

Well, I am always thinking about it. I kinda like to see how the school year is going for my kids. Because I like to take them out of school and then I have to get the go ahead from my hubby to see when his schedule will permit the trip. He is a work-a-holic and so is my ds. That boy hates to miss school. I had to reschedule his last orthodontic appointment 3 times as he didn't want to miss a certain class. I finally got it for 11:30 so he missed 1/2 of English and all of lunch. He was riding my case all the way back to school to hurry up so he would be there when the bell rang for History. :confused3 I thought teenagers liked to miss school. or even skip school. He doesn't take after his mother. :rolleyes1 And that's all I have to say about that. ;)

When you guys plan your ADR's at a resort - (which is where we like to mainly eat) do you plan them to be near the park that you were already at - or where you want to be for evening entertainment??

I am trying to figure out what ADR's we want soon - so I am ready to call when 90 days opens up - I feel like it wil be crazy!!!

Yes, I try to plan it near our park so we do not spend as much time traveling from one park to another. :thumbsup2

Yeah, we've been watching stormpulse.com...Ike is downgraded to a 2, and not going to Florida, Josephine is no longer active, but we are waiting to see if Kyle, Laura, or Marco appear...

Yikes, sorry the kids have had a rough time! What happened with Belle?
I will have to check out that storm website.

Jo, please do tell us what is going on with Belle. School can be so tough.

hey guys- I'm here! I can't believe I can actually talk to you all. Gosh, have i ever been out of the loop.

Jo

We have missed you!

Where have been anyway??? Did your computer get lost in the move??? :lmao: :goodvibes

I think NW AR just now got Hi-Speed internet. Jo had to wait to get it.

I am trying to get my kids old clothes priced today for Rhea Lana, a children's used clothing consigment sale. Then I think next week, there is another sale, Duck, Duck, Goose. I am going to put what doesn't sell in Rhea Lana in Duck, Duck, Goose.

Jo - I think they have Rhea Lana and Duck, Duck, Goose in NW AR. FYI!

Hey Shelly-
no the computer didn't get lost you'd think it did, huh???:lmao: .... Mark has been working long hours and travelling every weekend since we moved in. So he finally got the chance to hook it up this weekend and I am so happy!:surfweb:

How's your trip plans going? You're telling the boys on Christmas morning, aren't you? How are you giving it away???

Jo

Plans are coming along quite well! I started a January thread and it really took off. The list is about a mile long!! So we are having fun over there planning together. All my ADR's are made. As of right now I have a room only ressie at CBR. Will be making that a package soon. Hoping for a great January offer like I got last year!! :wizard: I got airline tickets with AirTran and then they changed their flight times and none of the new non-stop flights worked for us, so I cancelled and booked with SW. Hoping for a better experience with them this time. Also hoping for a Ding because I paid $109 each way, rather than the $85 each way with AirTran.

Still waiting until Christmas morning to tell the boys. And it is killing me! I don't think I will ever do this again!! Not sure exactly how I am presenting it to them yet. Thinking something like wrapping up a big box and having Disney shirts and Disney sunglasses inside and some type of countdown poster saying - We're going to Disney in 27 DAYS!!! :santa: :yay:

Hi everyone. Well, the party went off without a problem. We had it at my uncle's home in Thousand Oaks. It was about 96 that day, but the party started at 5pm and it was starting to cool down into the 80's so the weather was perfect. We had about 75 people - a lot of relatives I haven't seen for 5 years or more that was nice and my parent's friends. For dinner we had salmon, chicken salad, beef teriyaki, salad, and three different kinds of mashed potatoes, plain, garlic and rosemary, served in martini glasses and then you add your own toppings, shrimp, mushrooms, dried tomatoes, etc. for dessert, we had fudge, brownies, marshmellow fudge, and oatmeal bars. There was a small music ensemble there also, playing love songs. Overall it was very nice and wonderful time for my parents to celebrate this milestone in their lives. I am so glad it is over - it was a lot of work to put it on. My parents are leaving for a European cruise this Friday for a couple of weeks - I am glad they are able to get away and enjoy themselves.

Actually after my Jan trip to WDW that will be my last for a couple of years. Atleast 3 years.

Let me fill you guys in on my new news here. Well you all know that my DStepSon is living with us now. Well he told me today that his GF is pregnant. She is about 3 weeks now. It's huge news for us. I can't believe it. He is scared to tell his dad. He told me first. Wish me luck that my DH won't kill him tonight....

When you guys plan your ADR's at a resort - (which is where we like to mainly eat) do you plan them to be near the park that you were already at - or where you want to be for evening entertainment??

I don't have access to TGM, and I try to avoid bus travel as much as possible because it really cuts into your touring time. So I plan our days based on EMH (early or late, if we want to go to them, we are semi-commandos!) and shows or parades that we want to see that are only on certain days (we totally missed Spectromagic last year). THEN I pick the restaurant where we will try to get ADR's -- and try to have a back up plan, a couple of other choices. I knew we would be in Epcot several days, so I asked the dining CM, "Do you have any openings for Le Cellier on (gave her my dates)?" As it turned out, there was only ONE day with an opening for 2, and it was only at lunch, so I snagged that. Then I made my other Epcot ADR's because the other places (Rose & Crown and Chef's de France) wouldn't be as hard to get in to. On one of our MK days I originally planned on breakfast at 1900 PF, but we needed to switch to dinner and there were no openings :guilty: So we switched to The Wave for dinner instead, since it's also a short monorail ride away.

Katiebell- We haven't done the carriage ride there at POFQ, but it looks like such a romantic time. I hope you will love it there. I am so ready to go back. Your plans look great. I have never eaten at Tangerine before.

We loved Tangierine, but we like that exotic-Middle Eastern-couscous-hummus-kinda thing. :thumbsup2

Oh me, me! I'd love to get the inside scoop! Don't know if there is more than one showing those nights...I think it's only one. Looking forward to your WY pics, too...my mom's family is all over WY.

I will have to check out that storm website.

Yep, it's the best one I've found...and believe me, I'm watching every day...

   :snooty: :snooty:

:upsidedow

Where are they? And JC and some of the other MAYers.

Did you ever think you would say a sweater was comfortable on an 80 degree day? :upsidedow You are becoming a Florida girl!

Missing Mayers....Where are you?!? Stop your lurking and come out to play! :)

I honestly think it comes down to just a love of winter clothing. Only one of my roommates is a long time Florida resident, the rest of us are from the north, we keep our house pretty chilly just so we can wear sweaters. Sad but true :)
