So here's my vacation dilemma-------

anyone want to look at the park days and tell me where you think you'd go when????????????

I have a tentative plan but i planned them forever ago and got my ADR's so long ago and now I am mentally exhausted form the move and have no energy to put towards the vacation. Please help me.

Here's what I have-

Thurs 10/23 fly out late- arrive POFQ around midnite

Fri 10/24 mess around, sleep in, possibly go to DTD or MK- probably meeting up with Mark's grandparents for lunch somewhere. Want to take it easy- get an ADR for "somewhere" for dinner and an early evening - but not sure where.need a suggestion here. anyone been to Portobello Yacht club in DTD?????

Sat 10/25 leave at 6 am for the Gator Game meet up with Mark's aunts, uncles, cousins for a friendly tailgating before the game. Get back to POFQ late- No ressies that day

Sun 10/26 Mk in the morning, CS at Columbia Harbor House for lunch. Dinner ADR's at Ohana at 6:40. Hope to watch Hallowishes from the beach. Or get tix to MNSSHP- but that would mess up our touring in the morning?????

Mon 10/27 Epcot San Angel lunch at 11:30-- fight the EMH crowd at MK for dinner at LTT@ 5:20 and Spectro in the Super Secret MAYer spot at 7, Wishes at 8 pm.

Tues 10/28 DHS morning-Sci Fi lunch @ 12:25 Need ressies here for supper- Fantasmic at 7 pm. OR--- the alternative--- go to this MNSSHP- but then when would i do Fantasmic?

Wed 10/29 sleep in OR go to DHS or Epcot or MK-- no ressies here, just eat CS. want to go to EMH in the evening at AK. Need ressie here. Possible Rainforest cafe????

Thurs 10/30 Epcot all day- need ressies here- maybe lunch, definitely dinner or--- another alternative- trick or treating at DTD with the kids and supper. catching Illuminations on Fri nite. AS it stands now, I have ressies for Garden Grill and i'm not happy about it.

Fri 10/31 Halloween! MK in Morning/ Epcot at night - ADR's at Le Cellier EMH Epcot

Sat 11/1 leave


Okay- so tear it up. i need good ideas. I'm thinking I'm liking the idea of MNSSHP on Sunday night- then easy day on Monday at Epcot. It's better to go there on an easy day than an MK day.

shelly- I know the spot sounds hard to find- but truthfully when you see it you'll say "AHA" NOW I know what she's talking about. soooo ingenious.

Scope it out earlier in the day when you have time on your hands. You aren't going when it's super crowded, so no worries.

Okay, here goes. . .

10/24 - Never been to Portobello Yacht club. . . Are you just looking for an ADR in DTD or can it be anywhere???

10/28 - I would say Mama Melrose for dinner, but I think it was you that didn't like it there. . . NC and I like it, my DH loved it. It has been getting some good reviews lately. Just very slow service. Not too many choices for TS in DHS. . .

10/29 - We didn't care for Rainforest at AK. Everyone says the one at DTD is much better, I can never understand that ??? It's the same company. Anyway, again, not too many TS choices in AK. What about Tusker House or Yak and Yeti? I'm not sure if I could eat at a place with "Yak" in the title though. . .

10/30 - We had a great time at Garden Grill, the food isn't that good though. The characters are great! What about LeCellier or Biergarten? Although trick or treating at DTD would be a lot of fun!!

We ate at Rainforest in Ak for the first time last trip with our friends we met up with down there- only b/c they already had ADR's. We liked it okay. I think the kids would enjoy it. Hum, mauybe I should go to the one in DTD instead- maybe on that Thursday nite if we go T-O-T'ing. We ate at Garden Grill the last night of our trip in May and the food was so so- characters were probably some of the best we've had- but dang it was expensive for so so food.

MM in DHS- yep- it was us who didn't like it. Maybe it was an off night but it was very yucky that night, at least to us. We'll think about going again. Everyone deserves a second chance, LOl.

I forgot about you and the buffet thing!! Yes, I am pretty sure Biergarten is a buffet, although I've never been there. Not sure about Yak & Yeti. I didn't think it was a buffet, but don't know for sure. . .

The weather is chilly today. We got the nastiest thunderstorm at about 2:30 this morning. Woke us all up. But truthfully we could use the rain. We haven't had much lately. All last week (when the kids went back to school) it was in the mid 80's. The week before that we had 3 days in the 60's. So, the weather is the usual crazy PA weather! Supposed to be sunny and 70 for the next 2 days!

Had to see some clients down in Orange County yesterday again, so I stopped by DL for lunch and rode Buzz 5 times and ranked #1!

Saw the new blue monorail - OMG it is AWESOME!!! I tried to take pictures with my phone but they didn't come out. Lots of walls up around the park. They are redoing the pavement in parts of TL and in NOS. HM was closed to be refitted for the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay for the upcoming Halloween and Christmas season.

My wife and I had the bratwurst from the CS in Germany. It was very good and it tasted like what we got in Germany a few years ago. I would recommend that for a quick bite to eat.
