I just got a call from my mom.... she is in AK today.... i'm so jealous.... they were going to ride mt. everest then do the safari.... she said it's great over there... weather is nice crowds aren't that bad....

i just mailed out my money for sea for my pins, so hopefully it will be easier to "bump into" me now

it is shameful - but i still haven't packed a thing for our trip... not quite as bad as NC waiting ntil the day of, but i'm getting there

i think i am going to ship stuff down there at the end of this week maybe... my dads company ships out alot via fed ex so, maybe i can just hide 1 more box in the pick up...

Jo - Sonic is a great place. We don't have any near us. I first tried them when I was in Tucson, AZ about 20 years ago. You are right, those slushes are good, in fact, all of it is good! The last time I went to Sonic was in Vegas about two years ago...still tastes great!

It is funny you mention American Girl. We were at The Grove Saturday afternoon and they have a huge two story there. I always see parents and their daughters coming out that place with bags of stuff. AG is making a mint.

Back from the Dr's- Belle has an ear infection. 10 days of Amoxicillin. I hope she doesn't take after me and develop an allergy to penicillin.

Anyway- Shelly, I've never had to go to the airport from here. When we were in Fox Chapel, I knew how to get there, but have no clue about up this way. I am thinking 79 south, probably. Mark knows how- but not that back way. We have heard there is a back way, but are scared to find it.




Guess who was one minute from my house last week, at the YMCA giving a speech...
Bill Clinton! We didn't go- I wasn't feeling much like the pushing and shoving and the crowds. I really don't know anyone who went to hear him, but the crowds were large, from what I've heard.

shelly - is the way that you're coming from to the airport going to take you thru the ft pitt tunnels and onto the parkway?? if so, bob says that is the most direct way - and he said that they are doing construction at the 79/ 279 connection... so, that may slow you down but, i think the only way that it may be really bad at that time of day is if there's a pirate game that day... do you know the schedule???
