Hi NC!

So, yesterday we met with our friend Vivian at DCA. As we were waiting for her, we were stop by some CMs and they wanted to know if we were APs. They were looking for APers that would share a few minutes about what it means to have APs and their experiences. They interviewed us for about 10 minutes and it was videotaped. It is suppose to be used on their website in a few weeks. Maybe we will make the final cut!

Too many people at DL and DCA yesterday. I guess the spring break people don't know when to go home. LOL! Anyways - we had good time with our friend - and that is what important!

This afternoon I took a trip to Old Navy and bought Dh some shorts and shirts. I got myself some flip flops and 2 pairs of shorts. I am on my way to some clothes. I dont want to buy too much. But none of my clothes fit me anymore. I think tomorrow I will go to the outlets.

Of COURSE I have my ADR's -- 180 days out -- I learned from the best, all of you guys!

Day 1 Epcot -- Chefs de France - Dinner
Day 2 Epcot -- Le Cellier - Lunch
Day 3 MK -- 1900 Park Fare - Breakfast
Day 4 HS -- 50's Prime Time - Dinner
Day 5 Epcot -- Rose & Crown - Dinner (hopefully good view of Illuminations)
Day 6 AK -- Tusker House - Lunch (on my birthday!)
Day 7 MK -- Crystal Palace - Breakfast
GF Tea - Late Lunch (this one is OOP, not covered on the DDP)
Our last day, Day 8, is the first day of the F&W festival at Epcot, and we figured we could use up any leftover snack credits before we have to leave that afternoon about 3 pm.

These are all new for us -- we had R&C and CP scheduled last year, but DH got sick before the end of our trip and we missed them. We'll fill in the other meals with CS. Anyone have any favorites to suggest? We'll probably head to DTD one or two nights for Raglan Road and the Adventurer's Club

Glad you found the Mickey Pizza's NC! How much did you pay for them? They are $1.99 here at the grocery store. I haven't seen them at WalMart yet. They may be cheaper there.

That dress is too cute too! You must be like a size 2, you tiny thing!!! How can you eat such a yummy looking dessert and be so tiny! It must be all those sit-ups!

You are too funny NC!! I have to tell you though, I have slacked off a bit on the sit-ups ! I'm still doing them, just not quite as many and not quite everyday!!

Two weeks from today, I will probably be at epcot finishing up a delicious lunch at the Electric Umbrella!



My kids think that is the greatest place because they have cheese fries.

I would rather be at Le Cellier!

I think we are going to try the Electric Umbrella for lunch on our Epcot day! What else is good? Besides the cheese fries of course!!

hey guys...

i am having a crappy morning so far. we went for our 2nd set of engagement pics last night, and the more i deal with our photographer - i really just don't like him

he's very unprofessional - he met us down at heinz field because there was "free parking" and we basically found him at a tailgate party for the pirates opening day...

he made bob carry his bag for him, he took the exact same poses as the last time, he gave us NO direction at all, WE had to say where we went, he didn't at all try to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera, he didn't pose us or tell us what poses would look nice, he didn't even GET the city skyline which is WHY we went downtown for pictures, he made a racial slur that i happened to catch, and he called my by the name "stef" twice!!! I honestly feel that the pictures that I DID end up liking from the first round looked like they could have been taken with a disposable camera at a frat party.

it is 25 days until my wedding, we are paying this guy almost $2000.00 and I HATE him... I got in the car afterward and balled my eyes out. I called several photographers in the area and they want $2500.00 +++ for pics to be taken and then you have to buy the prints for additional $$$ later and I am already under contract with the racist a******. And now I think I have to live with it.

On the plus side, the nice photographer that I called last night said that we may be able to set something else up after the wedding to put my dress back on and go down to the city and take pics of me and bob at least (without the wedding party) ... lets hope that the guy i have can manage to take some standard formal shots at the church

Just coming off my friends wedding, I must say our photographers were so helpful. We actually had two and they were women. They pinned the corsages on the guys. Would ask questions like where is the ring bearers pillow. They kept us calm. They were awesome. They looked around the country club to try to find a basket for the flower girl when the florist screwed up. My husband ended up at Hobby Lobby I think buying a basket. Poor guy. He had no idea what to get. Here is their website just for a point of reference:

I know they are not in your area, but I just thought it might help. They did pose us, and took all the right photos. I am not the bride but was I was very impressed with them.

I didn't keep the receipt, but Wal-Mart ususally has price endings like $1.97. So sometimes, it may just save a few cents. This was at our superstore which is like a regular Wal-mart and a grocery store combined. I love it!

I just ate the burger there which was fine. They did not have a fixings bar like pecos bill. I really like their fixings bar. (Buffet, I know.) But I love that I can eat as many pickles as I want at Pecos Bills.

many, many many moons and ages ago, I was a model. Worked with many different photographers- one, as a matter of fact, from NYC that would actually fly into where I lived, would take my pictures for his portfolio and then leave-
Also, I not only got married once before- I used to do runway shows for wedding gowns, as well as other fashion shows. So I am used to being photographed----- a lot.

Anywho-
your photographer is not professional. His shots are not very good- and they always put their very best ones in their "Portfolio". His actions last night proved that your wedding and time and money- are not important to him.

A GOOD photographer can take someone that looks like they were drug in out of the pouring rain and make them look good. That's their job.
That's what the second photographer has done. He took ordinary people, angled them in the right light, and made them look fabulous. He is very good.

AS far as your contract goes with the first bone head, can you get out of it? You don't want to look back at your pics in 10 years and only have those to recall your day. Because that's what happens. You forget tiny bits of the day and you say "oh I wish I remember what happened at this point"- your pics- if you have a good photographer- is there for that.


IF you CAN"t get out of the contract-
ask someone that is a member of your family that you trust-
to be there with you to take digital pics of the entire thing.

Then go with the second guy for pictures after the wedding at some point.

I hope you can get it straight.

You really don't need this frustration right now-
sorry you're dealing with it-

it is so frustrating... i have so much on my plate at this point and i don't even know where to start to fix this... we didn't have the internet at the point when i booked my photographer so i couldn't look up his work - - he did bring us a disc of an engagement session that he had done and it was good, but i don't think that it was great now that i'm looking back on it. i just wanted a photographer and his price was the best i found (now i see why) i am completely sick over this and i don't know what to do... i want to get out of the contract and book this other photographer, but i don't think it's going to happen...
