Hey RF - sorry to hear that you are having such a rough time with the photographer.
Here is a suggestion:
Write him a short, but courteous email explaining to him that you are not confident that he is able to meet your expectations in quality and service. Send him links to other photographer's web sites and tell him that you expecting this kind of quality. Also, let him know that you are upset his racial comment...something to the effect of "I was deeply offended when I heard you say...". Finally, remind him that your wedding is a few weeks away and that last night's photo session with him left you with very little confidence that he would perform his services and act in a professional manner and that you would like a response from him today on how he can resolve all of this.
This doesn't have to be long email, maybe 8-10 sentences. The shorter the better. Be direct and to the point and try to leave emotion out of it. The more business like the note is, the better.
I wouldn't be surprised if he tore up the contract after reading your note because most people don't confront. I hope this helps you.
