May 12, 2011 dream cruise meet!!!

Is anyone having as much trouble as I am trying to figure out what to pack without overpacking or over thinking it?

Anyone else planning on what they are going to rebook while on board?

Yes, I'm trying to decide if I should bring my personal snorkel gear since I will probably only use it one day. I'm thinking I'll just bring the snorkel and mask and leave the fins at home. They take up a lot of room and are heavy.

We plan to book another cruise on board, even though we already booked the 15 day HI cruise in 2012. Harry has been missing the cruise experience the last couple years and finding time to cruise is just going to get easier after I retire in a couple of years.

This is my third Disney Cruise & for me rebooking would be a dream. I love all things Disney. Im just hoping my fiancee will love his experience enough to consider it. The kids are older so thats no real help in convincing another trip but I will try anything to make this an unforgettable trip. Are the deals for booking while on the ship that much better? Well other than it would make getting off easier knowing I'm coming back!

By re-booking while on board, you get a 10% discount off the normal fare, and 1/2 price deposits (10% of the new total, instead of the normal 20%)

You'll also receive a credit to your on board account for that future trip, the amount depending on your Castaway Club level. You would be in the Silver level still (move to gold after the 5th cruise) and would receive $100 for a cruise less than 7 nights, $200 for 7 and over. I think I have that right.

On top of that, if you name a travel agent while making that booking, you typically will get the full on board credit from your TA too, depending on what their rules are about it.

We will also be staying Concierge and I was concerned about logistics with the gate and carrying all that stuff! We will be celebrating our 25th anniversary and are so looking forward to the cruise. We will be boarding our plane one week from right now, I have so much to do but I'm sitting here on the disboards and watching more re-hashing of that beautiful royal wedding! I'm very excited for next week...gotta finish those FE gifts in between soccer games, packing, babysitting the grandkids!

We leave on Thursday afternoon and I feel you on having so much left to do. We are not even close to being ready to pack clothes yet.
