Oh Erik   I read about the accident and that it was upstate NY. I did not put 2 and 2 together.

I know how much you cared for all of them. Mom and I send out to you our love and thoughts during this time.

Eric - Sorry to hear about the loss of life. We know how much you enjoyed working with those kids.

Erik, I am so sorry. I can't imagine what must be going through your mind over and over right now, remembering those girls. To go from the joy of winning to the anguish of losing them just seems unbearable. doesn't it go to show how quickly our lives go by and how much we need to grasp it and enjoy it before it's over? It sounds as if these are the type of girls who did just that.

On a lighter note...

I thought some of you may like to see where the cruise continue for the B2B'rs:

Our first stop was Palermo, Sicily on May 28th:

Hard to see, but the kids were given a fancy leather book with clues and games for each port. Each night the port section to insert into the book was on the bed with these chocolates. The chocolates are wrapped like Euros.

Hey Kelly - did you get my PM? I found some of the answers, but am still wondering about the DVC discount at restaurants in Disneyland...thanks

Erik,

I am so sorry. I also don't follow the news very well and so hadn't heard about the accident before now. What a terrible thing.

Erik-thoughts and prayers being sent your way. Hadn't heard anything about the accident. Hang on to those wonderful memories.

Oh, Erik, We hadn't heard about the accident. We are so sorry for you and the families of the girls! It's so tragic to hear of this happening to young people!

Just a note about our son, Patrick. Many of you met him on the cruise.....anyway, he's been complaining of headaches for quite a while now, and was even having a hard time on the cruises. So, we took him to the neurologist, and he had an MRI on Tuesday. We still think it's nothing serious, but we don't like to take any chances with him!

Connie--please let us know when you hear that all is well with Patrick (as I am shoosing to believe you will hear). I will be thinking of you and Patrick and sending good thoughts your way.

Connie,

Sorry to hear he has not been too well. Fingers crossed everything is OK but its always worth getting these things checked out.

Keep us posted.

Lindsay

Connie, our thoughts for sure, do keep us all up to date.

Connie,
I hope everything will be okay. My most vivid memory is of him being a sweetie and saying some kind things to me. I'll keep you all in my prayers.

Connie, Do let us know about Patrick. Good pic of him with Goofy!

Ok guys, to bring you along on the 11 night cruise with us, our next stop was Naples. We went on the Amalfi Coast drive going through Sorrento (which we would go back to in a minute), Positano and Amalfi. This was one of my absolute favorite days on the entire trip. It reminded me so much of California, but much more dramatic. It tells me why so many Europeans come to Southern California. Enjoy:

This is Mount Vesuvius:

on the road to Sorrento their are very few beaches, mostly dramatic drops from the mountain side homes directly down to the water. This is similar to Laguna Beach (near my home) but we have white sandy beaches.

Coffee in Sorrento:

Positano: this area is known for their lemons and lemoncello. They grow in everyone's yard terraced up and down the hills.

Their pools and all activities are carved right out of the mountains:

The roads are extremely narrow and the buses, cars, trucks and bikes pass each other with inches between them. This is out the side of the window. We are very high up on the hills.

Thanks everybody for the good wishes for Patrick's health. I'll let you know how things go. Connie

I am wondering if any of the B2B'er have the menue from Parrot Cay on 5/28 - and if it matches the regular Parrot Cay menue from the crossing. Our second server didn't save the menu for us so I am missing that one - if it is the same menu then I am not worried - I am just wondering if it is.

Thanks
Cayla

Padalyn,
Sorry, we don't have the menus. Did you get the attachment I sent you? Are you ready for your trip?
