Ken - I love the shirts. I just ordered a shirt, hat, and magnets. Thanks for doing this for all of us. We'll look real "spify":cool1: on the boat. I have no problem with you charging the 50 cents. It is for a good cause.
You need to design for Disney. I just got home from the Disney Marthon Expo and the one shirt I wanted (black V neck) was not done for the half-marathoners just for the marathoners and the Goofy runners. I was disappointed. I love Disney but I don't think they really do well in their creative design department. I'll let you know what I think of the quality. My only concern is sizing. Hopefully, I picked the right size.

Size is always an issue with t-shirts. You just never really know how it will fit. I always end up getting them bigger then normal so they will fit after a washing or two.

My wife Shari (spros) is in Orlando for The Goofy. She is walking with several other Med Repo cruisers.

Hi again every one,

i am now 90% sure i have talked my husband into this cruise - we just have to wait and see if his change in leave (only a few days difference) is approved.

i was looking at the shirts Ken and that is a really fantastic design!

Milestogo Air India isn't quiet from the stoneage however you may feel more comfortable on another airline. they are not really in the top ten for their safety record or their cleanliness and food. however many people travel with them each year so it can't be all bad.

i really hope to have some positive news and be able to soon join you all officially

:)michelle

Love the shirts too! Just ordered Jersey and tshirt.

Thanks for all your trouble.

Ok Kids ya got me thinking I better get my rear in gear on these shore excursions. I am not to worries about them filling as the cruise is not all that full, at least that is what I think from the availability on DCL site.

So here is the question when is that we can make the shore excursion reservations.

Thanks,

Hey Scott,

I talked to my travel agent on the phone literally yesterday when I called to arrange the payment of the balance on our account. She said that our suspicions are correct that the cruise is not sold out....in fact she said she thinks it's "not even close" from what she heard....but that might be hearsay. She, too, thought there would be no need to "rush" for the excursions (like staying up all night and being the first to log in kinda thing....if you've ever tried, for instance, to do the dolphine experience at Blue Lagoon in Nassau...that is one that sells out crazy fast sometimes)....but did say reserving them online was still a good idea.

For those of us who are castaway members and are paid in full....we can reserve on Feb. 11th. My travel agent said they'd open up reservations probably at 12:01am PACIFIC time (so for those of us on the East Coast that means 3:01 am) on Feb. 11th.

I think if you're in a concierge room room or a suite then you can already reserve your excursions...or if not yet then very soon.

Our shirts are ordered.....2 ringer tees, one magnet, and one hooded sweatshirt (both for the cruise adn to wear to gymnastics....I always wear shweatshirts and/or running jackets there...and this will be a perfect way to flaunt my fancy vacation to all my students and coworkers! hehehe)

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Is there a way to list the excursions and who is planning to take them?

Anyone have any shopping ideas-do you think they will have a "shopping talk" onboard like they did for Nassau etc?

You know, I have this wholesome image of Scott, so I'm not so sure I want to break that image by seeing him in a thong!:scared1:

Ken, the magnets and buttons were a nice addition.

I reserved a private van (10 passenger) to take us from the Hyatt at MCO to the port at 10am on Saturday 12 May. There's plenty of room if anyone would like to share it with us. Send me a pm if you're interested.

I've been away from the list for a few days and it seems like I missed a bunch of things.

I would have liked the dining room for Palo brunch, but the alternate idea of attending the brunch on the same day seems like a good idea.

Love the shirts - I definitely will be ordering.

Excursions:
Castaway Cay - Parasailing
Canary Islands - not sure yet
Cadiz - definitely horse show.
Gibralter - we want to see both apes and tunnels - looks like there are several options.
Barcelona - not sure yet

My family can officially join the party. I saw someone commenting on the "fullness" of the boat. Apparently, regular reservations were not all they wanted, because they offered 50% rates to CMs. So over Christmas, my parents asked if we wanted to go, and I just found out my Mom's vacation request was approved so we are going!

It will be DH (Jason, 32) and me (Hope, 31) in 7052 and Mom (53) and Dad (60) in room 7050.

We have to cancel our WDW trip we were supposed to be starting January 23, but who could pass up 14 days on the Magic and Spain!

Welcome aboard Hope!

You may want to send your groups info to EpcotKilterFan (send her a PM). She is keeping the cruise list which is located at http://www.wideopenwest.com/~epcotkilterfan/

Just to let you and any other new people out there know - I am working on name badges and custom lanyards for everyone on the cruise list. I've done this for the May 2005 repo and the 11 Night Wonder cruise. So, it's important to check the cruise list and make sure that everyone's name is listed and correct.

Ken

Happy Birthday Lee (of BobandLee fame)!!!!!!

Ken
Thank you Ken and everyone else who wished Lee a Happy Birthday. Despite the protestation, all of the birthday posts were appreciated.

Sorry, one more disclaimer. The sample shirt I received is a standard Hanes t-shirt. I have no idea about the quality of the other shirts. So please don't hold me accountable for them. Thanks.

Ken

Yes, Ken, it will be all your fault if mine does not fit.:rotfl2:
Thanks again. Can't wait to see the lanyard badges.:thumbsup2

You know, I have this wholesome image of Scott, so I'm not so sure I want to break that image by seeing him in a thong!:scared1: .....

I don't think that is something we really want to see.:rotfl2:

Actually, I do believe that there are pictures of a grass skirt......
and who knows what was under that.:lmao:

and Scott, keep your eyes out for>>>

Sounds like us. Been discussing the excursions. Still have a month to decide.
Never done the onboard tux rental, but will this time to save space in the luggage.

You would think that Disney would offer some sort of shipping service so we could ship back all the stuff we buy onboard.:rotfl:
