Have fun CACruisin, look for the Polar Express train. I don't know when they set it up, but it's supposed to be wonderfully fun!

GOOD EVENING EVERYONE
Just checking in.
Hope you all are having a good week.

Looking forward to the weekend. Getting an early start tomorrow night. Going to see Ron White. Should be a great show. As he says, "You Can't Fix Stupid"
My workplace is an example of that. :rotfl2:

Looks like the Food and Wine thingie was a nice time.

Everyone have a great weekend. :thumbsup2

We have been very busy with the sale of our house, if something could go wrong it has, but it is still progressing. Readers Digest version, just the start, Had lot corners surveyed and marked, learned that part of our neighbors house was on our property. Property lines marked by the developer were different than what was filed with the County, Kind of a mess, and so it goes, there is more and seems like something every day, It has been nuts,

Concierge Staff at OKW is great as we have burnt up their fax machine. LOL

Just Breathing In , Breathing Out, and moving on…….

Dive show goes well, getting updated etc.

WDW is very busy, kinda surprised, Something they call Jersey Week.

Debbie, Thanks for the web site.

Sounds like all are having fun in CA.. KEWL

Have someone working on the T-Shirt when we return.

Hi all,
The Disneyland passholder Backstage Pass arrived yesterday announcing all the fun stuff for the holidays. One of the blurbs was the Cheetah Girls 2 movie coming out on DVD on 11/28, also the Pirates of the Caribbean on 12/5.

Also, Peter Mayle has written another book about Provence called Provence A-Z. My library already had it in stock, so that may be a fun read in prep for the trip.

HOW WIERD!! I was sure I posted something on here last night but it's not showing up...so either I did it wrong, someone deleted it (a webmaster???), or I just dreamed of doing it!! :rotfl2:

Anyhow....I was catching up myself.....

I haven't seen or heard much from Paladyn on htis or the other boards we both post to in a while either.....she must be very busy with work and pin trading!! :thumbsup2

Congrats on the "payoff" Epkot.....we actually are ready to payoff our trip, too. (I hope we get a discount on taxes, too!! :cheer2: ) We've actually had the cash for a few months now to pay it off.....BUT, we have a savings account that earns just over 4% interest....so we decided that we could make a couple hundred dollars in interest if we just let it sit in the account until the last possibly minute.....so we're paying our bill just before the exact due date (Feb. 1st). It'll be lovely that the big chunk of change we are paying DCL to go on this trip will actually earn us enough to pay for an excursion or a spa treatment!

As far as reservations for Palo and excursions (not that any of us are getting ahead of ourselves or anything!! hehehe) Isn't it DCL policy now that if you're paid in full AND you're a Castaway Club sailer (meaning you've sailed before on DCL...which it seems almost all of us have) that you can book excursions, spa, and Palo online up to 90 days before your sail date...right? And even earlier if you're a concierge level guest aboard....although I can't even begin to imagine how much a concierge cabin costs on this trip!!!

So we're looking forward to hearing by January 1st about the theme nights and the excursions being offered....so we can pay off our balance in the last week of January and then we should be able to start making our reservations online on or after Feb. 11th. YIPPEEE!!!!! :cool1:

:tigger:

Hey Erik, A long ago question: regarding the tipping on the 7 night cruise DH says it is approximately $350-$400. We tip a little higher because not only have we had outstanding service, but they make such a small amount of money (way under minimum wage.) Plus we have worked for tips so, we're paying back anyone who was kind to us in the past. We are also taking extra goodies this trip for the crew (chocolate, movies, books etc.) We were shocked to hear that most of the crew had never even been to WDW on the Caribbean cruises and DL on the west coast cruises. We expect it to be into the $500ish range for each of the back to back cruises. Anyone else have an idea from your experiences from the PC cruise?

Hey Everyone.

Hope the weekend was good for you all.

Here we did a lot of christmas shopping. :scared1:
Also took in the Chrismas Gift and Hobby Show. Lots of food samples. :teeth:

Weather was a bit cool for this time of year, but other than friday's rain, there has been a fair amount of sun. Still looking forward to the brighter skies of florida in 3 weeks.

Everybody have a wonderful week.

Yes and did we notice who is Number 1 in the BCS? :cheer2: :cheer2: It is one of those things, you live in Ohio and you automatically are a OSU fan, at least when they are not playing your university :)

Go Bucks!!! Beat Michigan!

And if wonders will never cease... the Browns won today too! :cheer2: :woohoo:

Debbie

I'm an Auburn fan so we will be pulling for Michigan down here. I just hope we can win this Sat. after the lousy way we played!

AAAH....you're speaking football language.....it's all Greek to me! :rotfl:

Although I saw two schools in the chatter that rang a bell.....Michigan and Auburn. I'm a gymnastics coach and one of my bym's former gymnasts is a senior member on scholarship of the Mighigan Wolverines gymnastics team now, Lindsey Bruck. Another of our girls who is a high school senior now, Becky Blahyj, just signed a commitment letter to compete with Auburn's gymnastics program starting in the fall of 2007......so I don't know diddly about football...but gymnastics I can do! hehehe :Pinkbounc

:tigger:

Greek to me too, but DH has been getting a little football watching in this year. I follow golf, tennis, cycling, gymnastics (met Cathy Rigby when I was a young gymnast and it changed my life!)

Well, we did it. My DS and I got tickets for Wicked in Hollywood for next September! I can't believe we will be long back from our med trip by the time we see the show. :maleficen

Radio Disney sponsored a visit from the stars of Cars! I had no idea they were in town, when my mom stumbled upon them! A touch of Disney to make it through the day.

I always have to ride Big Thunder Mountain in the Magic Kingdom. Especially in the back! It has the best ride back there.

But I also love Tower of Terror and Buzz Lightyear :)

Tough! Small World and Pirates (at the original House of Mouse, of course!) and newcomer Soarin' CA at DCA. I'm a sentimentalist so even if we are only at the park for a few hours, we have to ride POC and SW every time. Soarin' is definitely a favorite too!

Grand Canyon was "grand" :teeth: . The Polar Express hadn't started up yet, but does look like a really neat trip.

WOW, Debbie, those are fantastic!!!! We loved cars and I would love to see that. Any idea if it is a touring display, who did it (obviously Disney something)? Was it in conjunction with anything? Loved those pics!

Welcome back CACruisin, you've got a cute local girl down to the last two on the Bachelor. :happytv:

I forgot to mention Baseball as a big love.
