on an unrelated note....since many of you seem much more adept and in touch with the gener "disboard community" (I mainly only post on this thread and occasionally read threads on the LGBT threads)....maybe one of you knows the answer to this. I was ;looking at some of the other boards/threads and it appears that a number of ABC celebrities (like Ty Pennington from Extreme MakeOver Home Edition, Rosie O'Donnell from the view, and Kelly Rippa from Regis and Kelly and Hope and Faith) have been posting online something abou tsome surprise for Disboard folks......are they legit? and if so...any idea what they're talking about?

Anybody have any ideas what the excursions will be? Since we have only done 7 day cruises, will there be different shows or entertainment onboard? As you can tell we are going into this blind but expecting to have a blast!

that's fun......on one side of the shirt could just be a picture of a person in a pirate hat and eye patch with a tuxedo shirt and jacket, bermuda shorts, an inflatable raft and flippers (which woudl be a silly image all by itself) and then have that text you wrote on the other side!

Hope all of those that are WDW are having a good time. Bet it is fun.

However, we (Lee, the grandkids and me) got to go bowling yesterday. It was a fundraiser for the Humane Society. Called Strike Out Suffering.
Later we went to Chuck E Cheeses for pizza and games.
A lot more fun!

Today, I get to go watch cheeleaders.

We went to the football game, AUBURN, yesterday. And today we are taking our DGS to the movies to see Flushed Away. Much more exciting than WDW. We were there for a week in Oct. so I will just have to wait until next year to return.

One of my good friends at work is VERY active with the Humane Society here....and she owns more animals than Noah! (Ducks, dogs, cats, chickens, roosters, goats, and a bunch of salamanders!)

I get to COACH cheerleaders today.....I'm the gymnastics/tumbling coach for one of our local squads....our squad won Sectionals last week...pretty exciting!

Hi all,
Been a very busy week here getting ready for a business trip to Santa Cruz for the week (but we are taking the little one with us.) Had a very bad doctors appointment apparently I was so nervous that my blood pressure sky rocketed and they wouldn't let me go home (I'm normally very low.) This should be a very nice trip, fun work, fun place and sort of relaxing when not working.

We've officially decided to go to the Grand Ballroom for Thanksgiving dinner since there are only 4 of us this year and we all want something different for dinner. Makes me wonder if anyone has ever been on the DCL for Thanksgiving? I got 2 mailers from DCL saying that the info is coming on all the details.

Wasting time on a Sunday and I am reading some of the westbound trans cruise and they are talking about a letter some of them got from DCL in the last few days. Anyone heard of this? Also some of them seem to have gotten free gratuties for their cruise. Did anyone on this cruise get this and if so, how?

I believe that if you booked on board you can get the free gratuities. There is no other way to get that special offer.

Now for the letter, I have not gotten a letter. I will ask my TA if she has heard anything. We just want to know what the excursions are!!!!

On the 14 Day Panama Canal cruise we did have some new shows and they brought on entertainment. Boyz II Men and Bob Saget with the Muppets (that was a disaster... the Bob Saget part at least). There were soooo many things to do it was hard to decide what to do first!

After 2 weeks, I could have stayed another week aboard
