Deanna--Somehow I missed the post about no TV at your house earlier. KEWL! I keep hoping our 11 year old, bought damaged and repaired then TV(broken circuit board which Dvaid resoldered) will finally give up the ghost. I can't talk David into just getting rid of one, but perhaps if it does I can stall on getting a replacement until perhaps he realizes how nice it is without one. At the very least we have a DVR and do not watch anyting live. It has to be something we at least care enough about to have set up to record (no mindlessly watching whatever is on).

I would like to test a theory (which I REALLY hope does not pan out).

If you had a gty 12 and now have a room assignemnt, what cat are you assigined, and how many excursions and spa items did you ahev booked BEFORE assignemnts were made:

We have a cat 11 and had booked no shore excursions and no spa treatments.

We were upgraded to a 9. We had Palo Brunch,Tea, and dinner reserved. Plus, 2 excursions in each port (except Canary Islands) I just cancelled 3 excursions. I wonder if they will put me back into a 12....;)

Hey Barb, are ya still making the Ride to Cheyenne??? weather looks better than I thought it was going to be.

We have excursions in every port and we are only a cat.10. One Palo reservation (all we could get and at a bad time) and No spa treatments. I really want a porthole without paying porthole prices.

I do have a bad rep  cuz of our last cruse, so maybe that's why, though. I didn't like having 2 rooms 5th forward and one on 7th aft. (We were GTY) . The boat was full and they refused to change us. We had a very hard time herding the kids, because of it. :dance3: Eventually they did give us tickets to DW, so we were happy:cheer2: , but I'm sure I'm on their bad cruiser list. :rolleyes1

Same cruise, they were painting the outside of Palo--no signs up-- and the boys' pants were ruined:sad2: , so they gave us DCL pants from the gift shop.:)

Still nothing in our mail either - Goofy's kitchen tomorrow - my little girl turns 4! princess:

No cruise docs or special surprises, but I did get my "trip planning guide" today letting me know when I could book excursions, etc. online:rotfl2: .

It did have helpful info in it though. I had forgotten that I could preregister for kids club's online.

4 weeks from today we will be in Orlando!!!

Happy Birthday to your wonderful 4 year old!!:bday:

DD3 is ready to get on the ship today and play with her friend!

Ok... the roster is updated. The deck plans are updated. Now I did something different and they look better. But I have NO idea how to make it bigger on the screen without having to click on it... or the little box that comes up in corner.

If there is anyone out there that can help me I would love to hear from you! I am about at the end of my webdesign skills... which are not much!:surfweb:

Another day down! Really have to get some things done this weekend. Not many of those left

Debbie

Been a few days since I posted, just a quick one here.

No docs here yet either. No need to stress--as someone already mentioned, most of the important stuff can be done online.:cool1:

Kelly, the wind came through here as well, although by the late afternoon, it seems to have died down, so hopefully the spring weather will stay this time.:wizard:

Those who were unable to get shore excursions, I think they hold some spots for the people on the ship who are "less prepared" and haven't booked anything in advance. Don't forget, even though WE all know secrets, tips, inside hints, and ways to plan, there are several cruisers who don't ever even bother going to a website or making any advance plans. If you act fast once onboard, I'm sure you'll be able to book what you want. Also, from past experience, you can typically do what you want on your own even if the excursions are "sold out".

Snakes--yikes. Robert has a python named Maude. He doesn't plan to fillet her anytime soon, nor any of her friends. I'm personally terrified of snakes myself, though!

Hadley, did I read your post right? NO TV? :happytv: It's one of my favorite things, my TV! Like you guys, we DVR everything too, and watching nothing live. Saves so much time without the commercials.

I'm sure I missed plenty of other things, but I'll catch up more once my weekend hits, which won't be until Sunday night. Have a great weekend everyone!

Spent quite a while on Google Earth with the kids tonight looking at out ports, seeing how to wak from the ship to various palces we want to go, etc. If you haven't been playing around on there yet, I highly recommend it.

Hey Barb, are ya still making the Ride to Cheyenne??? weather looks better than I thought it was going to be.

Looks like we got "scared out". We are now scheduled to ride to the dealers in Ft. Collins, Greeley, Thornton then back to High Country.

But, HOG has a ride to Terry Ranch for lunch on May 5th - hope the weather is better! Get those bikes running and meet us there.

I sure hope so. Those of us that booked late, are out of luck when it comes to some excursions. I am hoping to do the Rock on my own too....

sorry to post a few in a row, but I really want to shoot for the 6000! :)

Wooo hooo 6000! On the other PC repo board, they make a big deal of these! LOL
Have a great weekend everyone!

We have friends who are going on the Carnival Freedom with us to the Med, but they are going a week ahead of time to rent Harley's and tour Tuscany and Florence......they belong to a club here in Orlando.

The tour of Tuscany sounds fun, but not on a Harley! :)
