I haven't received any docs here either - and I have a 4 nt on the Wonder right before this one. When should I start to worry? Do we still get the docs even if we fill in the online forms?

Getting a little nervous but I know I will have a great time on this cruise and get some much needed R n R.

:welcome: Bethd5!

I have added you to the roster! Glad to see you post. Ask any questions, we are happy to answer them

Debbie

Good Morning All--we still don't have that sun the weather guy promised for this morning:sad2:

Kelly--Please pass our sympathies on to Kathy. I can't imagine the stress level she must be at.:scared1:

Hogie Pie--I am not surprised that excursions are selling out even with the ship rather empty. It must be hard to find good providers who are able to offer excursions for just the one time (two if you count the repo home). I am sure DCL was not able to line up as much and/or as large of excursion as they can on a regular route. Also, on their regular routes there are a number of repeat cruisers on every voyage who have already "been there, done that" and choose to just stay on the ship or explore on their own. I think the percentage of peope staying on the ship is MUCH lower on this cruise.

Mary--We have gotten our cruise docs as late as 4 days before we leave. You'll likely still get yours. However, unless you have DCL transfers from the airport you really don't even need to get them. Do the online registration (if you haven't already) and the Bahamas forms will be available at the port. The only other thing you'll need is luggage tags for your bags which the porters will have plenty of extras of.

Stateroom upgrades: Okay, I only have 6 to work from, but so far it looks like the less you had booked the lower cat. room you ended up with  (not very Disney like in my opinion). I would LOVE more data. So please, if you haven't answered yet and you were assigned a room having booked at gty 12, which cat did you get and how many excursions and spa appointments did you have booked (not counting Palo as DCL doesn't make much there and just about everyone books as many of those as they can).

Boy have I got a story for you guys...

Kathy (Littleowensmommy) called tonight from their almost new home of Coronado. After a very busy week of trying to pull together their new home plans, moving and rushing around to make it all come together in a single week, Kathy took a big mistep and ended up breaking her ankle and a severe sprain on the other!:faint: She is currently in a wheel chair and trying to figure out how to get home and organize for the movers to come next week. As if it wasn't enough to be moving across country, DH changing jobs, kids leaving school early, selling and buying homes and being homeless in between the movers and the cruise beginning! OY:scared1: She promptly told the doctors that she had to be able to get on this cruise in 4 weeks and that was that! They are hoping that she will be on a cane by then and the sprain will be well enough to walk. Needless to say she will not be on top of the tables flamenco dancing in Cadiz:dancer: Anyway she asked me to post what was happening and said she should be able to get online in a couple of days to say hi. Some pixy dust would be good about now. pixiedust:

SO sorry to hear about your injury! Yikes! Hope you feel better soon and all goes well with your pack out. The cruise will be just what you need.:flower3:

Lots of Pixie Dust to Little Owen's Mommy!!!!!

Please consider renting a folding wheelchair for the cruise. You may be using a cane by the time we go, BUT, take my word for it, USING A CANE IS VERY TIRING!!!! It's so much more resing for your bones to heal, if you need the chair. Also, see if you can get a handicapped accessible family stateroom. They have walk in showers, ( but no tub) If a bathtub is important to bathe your little ones, that won't work.

I currently have 2 shore excursions and no room assignment which I know isnt much help on this theory but just wanted to put my two cents in.

Has anyone actually ever travelled across the Atlantic on a cruise ship before? I'm debating what to pack and was wondering if anyone knew what the weather was likely to be on the crossing?

In Gibraltar is any one going to do a tour once they get off the ship or are you just doing it on your own?

I haven't.... but I suspect that it is going to be cool on deck. A few pages back the average temperatures at the ports were listed, so that may support the theory.

4 weeks from now we will be at the port!

Hopefully we will be boarding now!

Hopefully we will be boarding now!

I hope they let us on early! The port was PACKED for the Panama Canal cruise. The majority of the ship were return cruisers so we all knew to get there early.

This was early.... it got far more packed!

Well since the ship is only half full there should only be half as many people as in your pictures.

Debbie - I noticed that no one in our group has the Walt suite, I am sure they are saving it for me as a surprise free upgrade at the port!

Yeah... and the Roy for me.... ;) :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I am trying to convince a friend of mine that is a CM at the Contemporary to come join us :) she just graduated with her Masters and needs the break! If nothing else I think I convinced her to at least do a 4 day Wonder cruise in a few weeks :)

Ok... the roster is updated. The deck plans are updated. Now I did something different and they look better. But I have NO idea how to make it bigger on the screen without having to click on it... or the little box that comes up in corner.

If there is anyone out there that can help me I would love to hear from you! I am about at the end of my webdesign skills... which are not much!:surfweb:

Another day down! Really have to get some things done this weekend. Not many of those left

Debbie

Hi Debbie,

That is what we call in the PC support world as a Microsoft added Feature of IE. If you want it to stop resizing on you automatically do the following steps:

Click tools
Internet options
Advanced
Scroll down until you see Multimedia
Check off the Enable Automatic Image Resizing
Close IE and restart.

That should bring the pictures up in full size for you.

Cheers!!

Pat

Hi ^_^

My mom and sister and I are booked for this sailing. I was having trouble pm-ing so I wanted to introduce us here and hopefully get added to list. We are:
Myself - F/21
My sister - 18
My mom - 55 (Her bday is during the cruise)

I was also wondering if anyone knew if there would be anyone my sister and I's age on the ship. We're not really that typical crazy college kids anyway (my fave activities are the shows and the board games LoL) but I was hoping there would be a few people our age.

Give your names(first) and your cabin # and Debbie and Ken will get them. You do not have enough posts to do a pm yet. Go to the first post on page 1 to find out lots of info on the group. And WELCOME!!!
