Bob, yes I did, didn't get Lynn wet yet.LOL

She may toss something at me.....

Gydell--I am so glad you posted about the Tooth Tunes brushes. I've been checkign and checking and they finally showed up at Target today! SO, when Rio fianlly loses that first tooth a HSM song playing toothbrush will finds its way under his pillow.:yay:

Hey all,
We got all three CC cards last year after our first cruise.

Gydell, when are you coming? We will absolutely meet you there. All three hotels are nice, DL has 3 pools all saltwater with the pirate theme in the main one. The GC is a fancy fun hotel, but in our mind not worth the money. We spend a ton of time in the lobby on a regular basis sitting by the fire, drinking coffee, playing but have only stayed there once. You don't have to stay there to enjoy the lobby, so we spend a lot of time there. The Pierside I haven't stayed at, but has the big slide. We liked the DL. Of course, we only live a few minutes away so staying there isn't something we do.

Erik, Anna will sit down with Jason and explain the very obvious importance of the onboard booking and the frustration she has had. We absolutely plan to rebook a dummy date and our PC if possible. When we're done with him he will be running to the desk to book. silly boy!!!!

milestogo - not sure when we are going to DL.We are still in the planning stages but will let you know. Are you doing the PC cruise? We are booked on the wb. I am trying to decide whether to book a dummy date this cruise or PC cruise for 2010 and the new ship.

Does anyone know how to get in contact with inventory control and get on the waitlist for the new ship?

OOOH please do!!!

OK gang. I have a question or actually, questions.

In the laundry room are there dispenser of soap and softener? If so, how much do they cost? How much is a load of laundry anyways? I know someone mentioned to bring their own roll of quarters (since I am on the B2B, I'm bringing 2!) But just wondering how much all of the laundry is going to cost me. Would it be better just to bring my own laundry stuff? :laundy:

Alright, another question for all you divers. How is the water temperature? I don't dive, I snorkel, so their is a question if I want to bring my gear or not. I know that I'll be able to snorkel in CC, but if I can not snorkel anywhere else, forget the gear! pirate:

OK, to the fun fun stuff...I'm up for any games, I'll just need a how to guide on some of them! popcorn::

Also, I'm sure I have somehow missed signing up for one thing or another, so list keepers, just assume I want to and put my name down!! :rotfl:

I'm still looking at my suitcase puzzled. :confused3 How in the world will everything for 28 days fit?? Your going to keep seeing me in the same thing. Oh well, its what I do here...get a favorite outfit that is sooooooooo comfortable and wear it to death!! :yay:

I'm a little under the weather right now  Some silly cold or something. So I know I am rambling with questions, but hey! I can catch up on TIVO! :happytv:

All happy now! :upsidedow

~Apryl

They do exist because I received one, just for me and not Curt. I called to get his CC#.

No you don't need the card for anything.

Same here, last year Robert got one and not me. Although when Robert got his, there was also a blank card in there. Guess they just expected me to fill mine in on my own?!

The plan is the one you can usaully purchase if you have a package for $35 per adult per day (adult being 10 or over). Here is what the plan gives you:

1 sit down meal credit per person per night of your stay (2 people staying 9 nights would equal 18 credits). A sit down meal is one appitizer, one entree, one dessert and one non specialty drink. Tax and tip are included!!!! Or one character buffet. Also included is one casual service meal credit per person per night. This is for coutner service and one credit equals one combo meal, one drink and one dessert. Also one snack credit per person per night. Snacks are pretty much any food or drink that costs less than $4 (a soda, treats at Kring La, pacakged cookies, etc at the hotel gift shop, etc.). A few places are specials that cost 2 credits to dine at (dinner shows, Cindys, Artists Point). You can mix up your credtis and use lots on one day, none on another, share one credit between two people and then do the same again later, etc. It is a majorly good deal (for those of us who love to dine at the world).

I'm sure I'm way behind the times, but I have just recently started hearing and reading about this dining plan. We're going to WDW in Nov, and I did a quick scan of the new Passporter when I picked it up a month ago. But obviously we have this huge cruise to plan and enjoy and prepare for first, so I didn't do a lot of research into it yet, but it sounds like such a great deal.

Do you know if you have to book a whole "package" to purchase the dining plan? Or since I'm already reserved on DVC points, will I be able to still call and order or include the dining plan? Thanks in advance!

Gydell, yes we are on the PC too and have reserved the 2011 and 2012. BUT with that said supposedly they are not taking a wait list for those boats. I'll look for the Inventory Control phone number. Our TA took a wait list. We are on the wait list for whatever comes up for 2009, but expect not to do anything that year.

Apryl, don't worry all the b2b'rs will be doing lots of laundry. I have several pairs of my favorite sport type pants, so it looks like I'm always wearing the same thing. In fact, when I asked Zoe what I should wear the other day (first time I've ever said that) and she said, something black mommy! Unless someone is really keeping track we're not worried about it - and if someone is keeping track of my wardrobe then Disney is not doing their job.

Susie, the Barcelona excursion sounds cool, Jonathan would love to do that.

Chris--I belive DVC members can purchase the dining plan (not positive though) It normally runs $35 per person per night. The free plan is only with a package and only in late August through late September. But it is a steal. You could get a room at a value resort for the two of you for 9 nights, a 9 day ticket and the free meals for a little under $1300 (we booked a room for two for Hank and Jan). It's great deals like this that kept us from becomming DVC memebrs (seems we can always find a cheaper way).

We are looking forward to this cruise. Have been on many but this will be the first Disney cruise for all of us.

Zachary will be 5 and this is his third cruise
Maggie will be 3 (just barely - she turns 3 on May 11), this is her second cruise.
Aimee (their Mom) fourth or fifth cruise
Barb (me - Grandma) I've lost count

We have Early dinning and we are on Deck 8.

I've spent most of the afternoon reading "some" of the old postings in this Thread - way to many to read them all. Hopefully someone will do a recap of the important info - get togethers, etc. a few days before we leave.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Welocom Barb and family:) All of the really important stuff is on the post at teh top of page 143 (and it does get updated). So go there and read that!!! Tryng to catch up on everything would be a herculean task.

Here's a passport update for any of you who are talking friends/family into joining. My next door neghbor applied today for a trip this fall. She was told it is now taking 5 weeks to expidite:scared1:

Jennifer, we bring a lightweight strip style multiple outlet also - plug it into the dresser area to recharge everything.

I tried to do that on the 11-day cruise on the Wonder, but no juice came through the stip. :sad1: Outlet was working, turned out the strip was OK (tested it back home). Hmmm . . . maybe a question of ohms in different parts of the ship?:confused3
