sasser05, Welcome to our board! You don't really say what cat. you are, but if you have an inside room, I believe Deck 2 and 6 are the same cat. Probably wouldn't be a problem to see if she can just be moved to deck 6.

Hi there, we are on the double dip and cant wait, but we are on deck 6 and my daughter and mother are on deck 2 how can I get her the upgrade to deck 6 with us, any advice?

My mom and 2 sets of friends are cruising with us so we have 4 cabins total. We had different categories from some of our traveling parties but are all on the same deck. I called DCL and had them move my mom so she'd be closer to us and they moved both she and I and gave us adjoining rooms which is perfect for us (we made our ressies via DVC while she went through DCL).

OMG I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO tired............ DH and I went to a wedding last night and got to spend some time with my dad's side of the family that only manages to get together when someone gets married or dies. Since all of my cousin's are my age, we're now on the round of "second weddings" which are far less formal, have WAY more alcohol and somehow seem to go on longer into the night. DH and I got home very late and it was 2:15 a.m. before I fell asleep. My 4 year old son woke me up at 5:30 saying "mommy why are you naked"? Apparently when I stumbled (and I do mean stumbled) into bed I forgot to get my PJ's on! So remind me when we are on DCL that I have a 3 drink limit or we'll start hearing all sorts of stories about a naked woman sleeping on deck 9 passed out in a lounge chair!!

I got my Magical Express vouchers for our trip from VWL back to Orlando Intn'l Airport and the infamous yellow luggage tags had 5/18 VWL on them. I called DVC and said that while it's great I got them, we are traveling on 5/15 to VWL and going from the port with paid transfers, not DME (although I do think they should offer free transportation from/to the Disney hotels to the port...). She checked our resevation for DME (which is only for 5/20 back to the airport) and they are fine. She then transfered me to the DVC DCL rep who doubled checked all of our transfer dates and the woman said our cruise packet has been mailed out and we'll be receiving it ANY DAY NOW!!! I am beyond psyched!!!!! 4 weeks from today at this very moment I'll be chasing my 2 kids around the airport waiting for the airline to board our flight! I can't wait!!!!!

Also, I was wondering who's reserved what for excursions / activities? I wonder if any of us have reserved the same stuff at the same time?

I'm doing Parasailing on CC on Monday at 10am and Banana Boat Ride at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Anyone joining me?

We-ell, I think the general idea is that they're used for family messages (ie: from Mom to kids - "I'm in the Promenade Lounge, come and get me in an hour before we have to remortgage the house to pay my bar bill...") but somehow that has evolved into gift-giving between DIS members. TBH I can't quite get my head around it so I'm the worst person to provide info! But what the hey, that never stopped me before...

That is great info, I have called and they told me no, but maybe I will be a little more persistant. I will work on it more.
