Ok, I must weigh in here on the Prince halftime show:
1. Prince may have looked like a real Dufus with that bandana on his head, but having been a hairdresser myself, I tell you- Miami heat and chemically treated hair and RAIN (purple or otherwise ) Just don't mix . I feel for the guy. Who likes to be all out in the rain It was a bad hair day waiting to happen

2. This halftime show was MUCH better than the Justin Timberlake/Janet Jackson disaster. Atleast you didn't have to explain to your kids what a "wardrobe malfunction" is

3. I'm a big dork, but I LOVE Prince. Not "the artist formally known as", but plain old Little-Red-Corvette Prince. I think if he would've sang LRC or some of his older songs he would've appealed to the older crowd a little better.

4. And finally, why not a Billy Joel halftime show? I LOVE the piano man!

Anyway, just some opinions. I only watch for the halftime show and the commercials anyway

this was my night....if you read my TR...all I wanted to do was see the step sisters and the "new" ariel characters....and Abu...and we did it all!! but these girls were FANTASTIC!!

thanks Holly I shoulda thought of that...unfortunately the site needs flash and my laptop won't load it, so tomorrow I'll look it up on my office computer. Truely lazy I have an office at home, in the backyard and I'm too lazy to get off the couch and go see.

I agree Prince???? I didn't think he was back in vogue. DH wondered how he could play in the rain and not get electrocuted???

I must have missed the half time commercials? was there any good ones. I was sitting right here and nothing???

How did he play in the rain though- with all those electric guitars isn't it a fire hazard?
He was definately getting rained on though, because we could see the rain falling on him.

I hope so! I think this was a "test" period.... they were so in character and just really fantastic.....we also saw Tink in the parade...she was GREAT!...we spoke to several CM's who said she was making guest appereances in the tent in Toon Town as the "mystery guest" unfortunately, we did not "meet" her.

Most of the big companies will pay a big price tag to have their commercials put on in the first quarter but especially the first half. The reason... who knows what typee of game it will be and people may stop watching after half-time. The price goes down for advertising the later into the game you get.

We've been to the Christmas Party 2x and the Halloween party once. We were disappointed with the Christmas Party this year (as compared with 2004), but it didn't help that it was pouring rain for most of the night, including the parade. I LOVED the idea of pirates and princesses, but since we just went to WDW in mid-December, we couldn't swing another trip so soon.
