. . . Looking to book the double dip end of Sept 08, or the first Eastern in Oct 08 while on board. That will mean THREE Disney cruises in the span of 12 months! How cool is that?!
That's way cool!

Good Job! Want to come to my house?

We have one room that we called the box room....now it's called Ella's room coz her food and litter box is in there and she loves to sleep at the tippy top of all the boxes and she loves hiding behind them too. When we finally do clean it up....she will be lost.

:goodvibes :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

The box room would have been the perfect name for this room too! That cats loved to play in amongst the boxes but now they are enjoying all the space and running around on te carpet.

It was 10 years before we went thru Dennis' parents things. It will keep until you are able. :grouphug:

Angie,

Thanks for this. I am gearing up to try and go through my folks stuff and it's been just over 8 years.

It helps to know that I am not the only one who finds it hard to get around to going through the storage unit.

Karen

It is quite possible that I won't get to meet anyone.:sad2: Two chances in November and December, but not sure they will happen.

Marilyn,

We WILL meet you one way or another in November!! I promise that we will make it work!!

We don't leave WDW on the 26th until late in the day, so I am sure that we can work our "a coffee' somewhere!

Karen

Holly, thank you for your mini trippie. How brilliant was Tyler. You have a great little man there.:)

I wouldn't worry about meeting people...we will have known each other for over a year and I am sure that most of us will not run out of anything to talk about....I'm sure holly and I can make up for everyone! :)

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hey Everyone,

Sorry I haven't been around in a long time please forgive my abscense! I will have to spend time catching up on everything that i Have missed this weekend. I have been dealing with a wedding (my cousin), a camping trip, a trip to the Magic Meet in PA, a 8 night 9 day trip to WDW, work, and 3 funerals/wakes etc.

I hope everyone is well... I'm super excited now as my focus is on the Cruise. We aren't traveling again until we leave to board the boat!

We did book our hotel for the night before at the radission and we booked the shuttle to the port from the hotel so now it seems real that we have plans booked!

Just thought I'd poke my head in and let you know I have been thinking about you all just haven't had time to post.

Hi, you have had a busy time. Sorry about the 3 funerals.:sad2:

We will try and have a back up plan in case we miss the Sunday 25th.

Marilyn,

I'm not sure what the timing is for the 25th, but as I had mentioned, we are planning to be at MVMCP that evening.

I had forgotten that along with a whole load of other stuff from way back in this thread!!!

So, I fear I am going to keep on repeating things.

If you are going to MVMCP then you will want to be there by 4pm even if you are not using a day's park tickets.

Monday we are going to Epcot - probably bright and early as we will probably be awake from 4am as is the norm with jetlag going west!! Not sure you would want to use a park ticket. At the moment we are having lunch at Le Chefs at 1pm. Depends on what time your flight is too.

Should be meeting our US friends either for brekkie in POR or sometime in the park. They won't be awake so early being from the same time zone(Georgia)!!!

Just wondering if you checked out the Country Inn and Suites? They are closer to the port and some of the rooms you can see the ships. We are getting a living area, a bedroom with queen bed and another bedroom with bunkbeds and a single bed for $154. Shuttle does cost $3 per person. We have always stayed at the Raddison but last cruise so many people raved about the Country Innn and Suites that we are trying it this time.

Have a wonderful time! The drive from Tampa is very easy and direct (unless there's construction). I've flown into Tampa for several of my WDW trips (better SWAir fares many times). We even stayed a day or two at Clearwater Beach a couple of times....very lovely. ::yes::

I am flying to Tampa Nov 2nd...never done that, but it was so much cheapear and I could get a non-stop from Dulles. I plan to rent a convertable!!

OK, so the Phillies lost to the Rockies today, after the Rockies had to play that amazing 13 inning playoff game. Dbacks and Cubbies get it on later tonight in Arizona.

Tomorrow night the Indians and the filthy Yankees. Did I tell you guys I HATE the Yankees? Did I mention this? The Yankees have a 200 million dollar payroll. The Indians payroll is 62 million. The Indians, Rockies, and Dbacks are all in the same salary ballpark, and the other teams are in the stratosphere.

I am going with a buddy to the game tomorrow - a friend that was in our wedding. Can't wait, because . . .

IT'S TRIBE TIME NOW!

I hatet he Yankees too.....mostly because of the payroll

YUP, I paid $1500 for Angel and drove to Mass. to pick her up.

The good news is.........Angel is home tonight! YEA....I have really missed her....although Ella is not all that happy about it.

She's still my baby and oh my how much she has grown....she doesn't look like a puppy anymore. I'll try and take some pics over the weekend.

:cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

Please don't let her hurt you...you don't want anything to get in the way of your cruise next month.

Deb, I'm so glad you have Angel home! Just be careful not to let her jump on your legs.

Been to the gym and then on to do a food shop - well, enough for me to carry as I was walking. It was heavy though!:confused3

You kids hear about this:

Beginning this fall, Disney Cruise Line will introduce Onboard Airline Check-In, a new service that enables qualified guests to check-in for their post-cruise flights while on board the Disney Magic or Disney Wonder, eliminating the need to do so at Orlando International Airport. Guests participating in Onboard Airline Check-In will not have to collect their luggage upon debarkation, since checked luggage will be transported directly from the ship to the guest's flight. While on the cruise, guests' boarding passes will be delivered to their staterooms the day prior to disembarkation. Upon the ship's return to Port Canaveral, participating guests can proceed directly to Customs and then to Orlando International Airport where they bypass check-in and continue straight to airport security and on to their assigned departure gate. To take advantage of this service, guests will need to meet certain requirements and be booked on a domestic flight on one of the seven participating air carriers: AirTran Airways, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines, Northwest Airlines, or United Airlines/Ted. Eligible guests will be able to enroll for Onboard Airline Check-in by completing pre-registration information received at Orlando International Airport or one of the Disney Cruise Line Hospitality Desks at the Walt Disney World Resort and turning it in during check-in at Port Canaveral.

Just remember you won't have access to your checked luggage that morning, so anything you have with you (thinking toiletries here) will have to pass inspection for carry on luggage.

 HAPPY 20TH ANNIVERSARY LISA AND DON:love: ....wishing you 20 more together and hope you enjoy some special time alone today!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was 10 years before we went thru Dennis' parents things. It will keep until you are able. :grouphug:

Well that makes me feel better....knowing that I'm not the only one and that I have all the time I need to be able to do it.

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

We may have to skip the coast and go spend a few days with my dear sweet uncle. The Idaho mountains are nice too. Only one of his boys lives anywhere close to him and he and I have a very special relationship....he has no daughters, I am his girl. I love being with him and want to be there to support. Luckily we already have the time scheduled off. The coast will still be there.

It is a good thing that you already had the time off and can now be with your Uncle. I have an uncle like that too....he's more like a dad to me and has always been there for me no matter what I call about or when I call him. He walked me down the isle and gave me away at my wedding. I would be lost without him. He has two sons (one of which is my favorite cousin that I'm seeing for Turkey day) and my brother is like a son to him.....I am the only girl too.

Hope your wound care appointment goes well and you don't have too much pain. Sounds like you have a busy day but with Angel coming home, I bet it will end on a happy note!

The wound care appointment went very well....a little pain, but bearable....then my Angel came home....I was sooooooo happy to see her and she's being much better behaved. I'm thankful for all of Sandi's work with her.

:hippie: :hippie: :hippie:

I was very close to my grandmother and learned about relationships through her and my grandfather. I am very close to my kids and patterned my relationships on what I learned from my grandparents about parenting.

I was always closer to my grandmother than my mother. I loved them both very much.....my mother and I just agreed to be different.....we would never see things the same way, but my grandmother and I just clicked. I think I learned a lot of good things from both of them.
