The catching up never ends. Hectic day at work playing catch up. I'm home now, but I have to mow because I've neglected my front yard for a month. First, I have to go buy gas for the mower. I'm pretty sure I'll just end up asking the neighbor boy across the street if I can just pay him to mow. Much easier. Have to go pick up a prescription refill. Have a couple other errands that need to be done (but I suppose I can wait until tomorrow). I promised Tyler we'd put up our Halloween decorations today after school and before his dad picks him up. But first I have to get them down from the attic. Then I have TONS of homework to do -- more catching up! And I still need to watch Desperate Housewives online. OH! And I need to pick up a couple groceries before Tyler gets out of school. Good grief!

Holly, I tried watching the BB recap show online and all I got was waiting while it said buffering then it would play a little then stop and say buffering then play a little...etc. How do you get it to play continuously?

Now, what treatments do you recommend at the Spa?

John loves the hot stone massage. It's his favorite. I can't do massages because of the pain it causes me....I have fibromyalgia and other issues....if you touch deeply in most places I scream with pain....for me, massages are out!

:guilty: :guilty: :guilty:

So excited . . . . . . no patients for 11 days! I truly enjoy helping folks, but it will be a nice break. Unfortunately I do have to bring my laptop for my Anatomy class. The class has an essay and a lab to turn in while we are on our cruise. Lab's are easy to grade, but essay's take some time. Hopefully it won't be to labor intensive.

We leave tomorrow morning on a flight to Tampa. Never been to Tampa. It doesn't look like too bad of a drive into WDW.

We are all packed and ready to go. The anticipation is keeping the girls from sleeping at night. Looking to book the double dip end of Sept 08, or the first Eastern in Oct 08 while on board. That will mean THREE Disney cruises in the span of 12 months! How cool is that?!

I know DEB already posted this but We are booked on the Sept. 08 DDwith friends from our first cruise, We would love more DIS'ers.:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

oh no, spa with Molly is fun, but by myself is heaven....I did get out for a pedicure and adjustment from the chiropractor (not really the spa but a close 2nd in my world)

Good for you Nan....I'm glad you took some pamper time for yourself....you definitely deserved it!

Marilyn,

I'm not sure what the timing is for the 25th, but as I had mentioned, we are planning to be at MVMCP that evening.

Karen

I think we're doing a Downtown Disney day meet....with some food at the Rain Forest Cafe.....plenty of time for you to make your party later. Unfortunately, probably not enough time for Marilyn to catch up with us....unless some of us linger around until later....which may happen considering Holly will be there and we'll have lots to talk about. HA HA HA

I am flying to Tampa Nov 2nd...never done that, but it was so much cheapear and I could get a non-stop from Dulles. I plan to rent a convertable!!

What a good deal....I rented a convertable for our West Coast stay after cruise! What fun!

Please don't let her hurt you...you don't want anything to get in the way of your cruise next month.

You're right, I have to be very careful, but I think it's going to be ok. She is much better behaved and even if she catches me off guard, I'm not taking any chances, I've got the legs so well wrapped and I'm wearing thick winter sweats over the wrap, that she won't get close to the skin and won't be able to do any damage. So, all is good. It's great to have her back home!

:cool2: :cool2: :cool2:

Deb, how is Angel around you?

She's really being such a good girl....she still loves to chase Ella, but she's more under contol and not so wild. That's very good. Sandi did a lot of work with her and it shows. I'm greatful!

:goodvibes :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Well I don't have any plans for the day, but I'm about to call the brother hen and I know he has a long list of things for me to do. I really don't want to leave Angel on her first day back at home, but I'm sure my brother will have me out of the house running and chasing doing errands with him that need to get done....so I'm procrastinating calling him and enjoying my quiet time home with my two girls while it lasts.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Lisa, think of me as you walk along the shore this weekend and know that my heart belongs in Bethany too!

John, GO TRIBE....hope your team wins tonight and you have a great time at the game!

:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Holly, I loved the trip report....what a good time you both had! I can't wait to see the pics!!!!!!!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

The wound care appointment went very well....a little pain, but bearable....then my Angel came home....I was sooooooo happy to see her and she's being much better behaved. I'm thankful for all of Sandi's work with her.

:hippie: :hippie: :hippie:

Good news on the wound care and Angel front!!

I was always closer to my grandmother than my mother. I loved them both very much.....my mother and I just agreed to be different.....we would never see things the same way, but my grandmother and I just clicked. I think I learned a lot of good things from both of them.

You are very lucky!! I wish I could have been close to my mother, but it just never happened. Being that her mother lived to over 90, I thought we still had time.

Glad your appt went well today....less pain.

Glad Angel is back and better behaved....but as others have said - KEEP HER OFF YOUR LEGS!!!

Marilyn -

I've had 2 different spa treatments on the ship - 1st time was a Swedish Massage (which I've had on land too several times....all I can say is AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH), and the last time I had the Hot Stone Massage. I enjoyed both, but I think I'll still with the Swedish. I can't do Deep Tissue as I bruise easily.

I've heard wonders about the Rainforest room on the ship - but I have a very sensitive nose (smells lead to migraines for me) so I've been scared to give this a try.

Hope this helps!

I'm doing research on line for new desks....am hoping (and crossing my fingers) that I can end up working from home come December 3rd. Our office is splitting up, and there is a possibility that some of us can work from home. They will hopefully let us know soon.

I was never close to my mother - no real problems, just not close. I don't think my teenage years and her menopause all at the same time helped. Also she herself had had a difficult childhood, so I guess things just continued. She was a very strong woman and ruled the home and my father.

Thanks Monica. I have had full body massages and enjoyed them, then had a deep tissue one when on holiday in June as I was so tense and achy. My words it was verging on painful, but once the aching wore off I felt marvellous.

I hope it works out for you. My friend in Georgia is now working from home. She was concerned at first but loves it, and saves so much travelling time.
