You are welcome. If those sites don't work out for you, I would call the AKC for a reputable breeder in your area. You want to visit the breeder if you can and check references.

oh no...the 19 year old USF student who has meningitis has died! How sad!

This is so sad. I had to put Daniel on a wait list for the Meningitis Vaccine this summer. It has been on short supply. I just took DD13 Annie in for a physical and they suggested I go ahead and get her the Meningitis....I did not do it.....maybe I made a mistake?????

USF Student Dies From Suspected Case Of Meningitis

TAMPA, Fla. -- A University of South Florida student has died from a suspected case of bacterial meningitis.

School officials say 19-year-old Rachel Futterman became ill Friday and went to the hospital Saturday, where she was placed on life-support and later died.

USF spokesman Ken Gullette says Futterman did not attend classes late last week, when she would have been most contagious. Dozens of students who had direct contact with her have been treated with a strong antibiotic, and another 200 students will be able to receive the vaccine if they want.

Bacterial meningitis is a potentially fatal infection that strikes about 3,000 Americans each year. It's transmitted via respiratory secretions and by direct contact with an infected person.

We have salmon. I think I will wrap it in foil and bake it. Yum! Rice and a veggie with it. And maybe some sour dough bread, buttered and broiled. Won't DrHug be happy to hear no cereal tonight!!

Back from a perfect trip to San Jose.

The Ducks almost blew a 21-10 lead with three consecutive fumbles in the second quarter. Those turnovers turned into 3 touchdowns. We trailed 31-24 at halftime. Luckily, we came out in the second half and shut Stanford out 31-0 to win the game!

Now comes the big test against Cal. ESPN College GameDay will be at Oregon for the game! Really wish we could fly up for what should be a great game.

This reminds us of when we were students and Oregon went to the Rose Bowl for the first time in many, many years. We had to camp out for 43 hours to get our student tickets. At Oregon, there are roughly 3,000 free tickets to students (not really free, pay for it in your tuition). It can be a tough ticket to come by.
