What fun. Halloween is Samantha's birthday and I think this year we are trick or treating with friends. We usually stay in our neighborhood as one of our neighbors has a block party, but one of John's softball buddies has a 3 year old and a 6 month old and wants us to come out with them.

Oh what fun to have a birthday on Halloween!!!!!!! Lucky Samantha!!!!!

I think I am doing ok. Although I had a scare the other day, I was taking him out into the garage to wait for his grandma to come to visit, and his foot got caught on the rug, and he slipped out of the wheelchair, and scraped his back, poor thing. Of course, Chuck was gone on his walk, and I cannot pick Patrick up by myself (neither can Chuck). so I had to leave him on the floor, and go inside to get the Hoyer lift and bring it around. We have only had to use the thing 3 times since we bought it 2 years ago, but It worked just fine, and I got him up into the wheelchair again, but he has a big bruise on his back where he scraped it.

Not too good of a Mom, I'd say!

I was just outside with the dog and it's warm out there....it's hot in the house so we just turned our air conditioners on again. I can't beleive it. We've had the heat on twice already this season and now the air is back on. What kind of weather are we having???????????

Saturday is the house auction and we pray it sells!!!!!!

Sunday is pamper day, haircut and color and eyebrows waxed!!!!!! We save the mani and pedi for Cocoa Beach just before we get on the boat!!!!!!!!!!! Happy days are coming soon!!!!!!!!

Okay, V, you will not like me but I am glad they lost. That moves Boston College up in the polls and VA Tech plays Boston College next Thursday night on ESPN. All we have to do is win next Thrusday now....and we will make a big move up.

Are they done with the tornado warnings in your area Holly?

Nope. Of the 3 tornados so far, 2 stayed up in the air, but the news just reported that one did touch down in the area my co-worker lives in. Only F1, but still lots of damage. They said another on the way looks to be F2 strength, but it's about 45 minutes away. Maybe closer than I think because I hear the tornado sirens in the distance...not in my county, but not too far away if I can hear them. I'm SO tired, but really don't think I'd sleep well knowing this stuff is still supposed to keep coming. The weather guy just said in his 21 years of reporting weather, he's never seen an evening like this. Oh....he just now said he expects the activity to continue until 6am.
