Burnt ends, fries, collard greens and a cookie from a local barbecue joint. Unfortunately the rest of my party had leftovers while I finished the whole plate…
My DH is in Florida this weekend . He said our fridge died and it was too expensive to repair so another one will be delivered sometime next week. Thank goodness we have a friend down there that can be there for delivery bc there was no way he was staying there without me!! I wasn’t hungry tonight so just had chicken nuggets and cucumber slices.
Today was tag sale day. I’m so glad it’s done! It was a good tag sale, we got rid of so much stuff! I’m going to say 500 items gone today! With that said I was really hoping to sell an antique kitchen table and chairs but had no takers.
By the time we cleaned up and did a donation run we were exhausted and starving so we grabbed a very late lunch. Plus side I don’t have to make dinner. I had a chicken Cesar wrap and DH had a cheese steak.
I have chicken nuggets for the grandson ready for later…no idea what hubs and I are having. I’m doing a family dinner tomorrow and putting in a pot roast in the afternoon.
{{sigh}} For supper tonight, tomorrow and the next few nights: cold cuts, sliced cheese and raspberry Danish bites. DH went to Costco - never a good thing - and bought industrial-sized packages of each. It's just the two of us at home now and we're leaving on holidays this coming Thursday. This is a man who does not tolerate left-overs. This punishment hopefully cures him of Costco-itis for good.

Sorry Annette, I couldn't help but laugh at that. My adult DS does the same thing. We're still using up stuff that he bought, when he lived here 2 years ago.

We live in an apartment condo without a freezer or much surplus storage. We are not the correct demographic for Costco shopping. Now that I've put my foot down about ridiculous volumes of perishables, I'm outlawing 50-roll packs of toilet paper next.
