Oh! Here's a good thing! After church Sunday, since Tyler was looking especially handsome in his blue dress shirt and tie, I decided we should head to Walmart and have our pictures taken. When we were in Tennessee, I was shocked to realize that the picture on my brother's fridge of Tyler and I when he was 1 1/2 was the last time we'd had our pictures done together! I absolutely LOVE the pics we just did on Sunday! I usually only buy the $6.99 package deal because we just don't need a ton of pictures around, but went crazy this time! Family & friends will be getting a couple different pics in their Christmas cards this year. We get to pick them up from Walmart 11/2 and I can hardly wait!

I am in major thought I was already to leave on Friday, but now I am so not packed, ready to be finished and ready to head out, agh! But I did get this, my camera bag modification, done tonight, talk about procrastinating, eh.

I don't mind you asking. My parents were in the midst of an ugly, angry divorce. I was the only one left at home. My mom was working and my dad went to be with "friends" for the weekend. Friend turned out to be my future stepmom. :confused3 My sis was newly married and went to her inlaws, my brother was in college in Texas, also newly married. My best friend and her parents loved me very much, but it never occurred to them that I would be alone. It was a sad day for me that I think I will always remember, even the the feelings I had. BUT the next Sept I met my Prince and have had nothing but wonderment since then! I also have made it my life goal to make sure my family and friends have the most loving Thanksgivings possible. I know I have succeeded with that because 3 generations of our family will tell you that Thanksgiving is their favorite holiday. Several of them told me that as little children and if you think about it, it is the only holiday when the children don't GET anything. But still it is/was their favorite holiday.

Having had that experience at 16 has taught you to have the most wonderful Thanksgivings now. So glad the kids like the day more than the holidays with presents. How special that is to know!

Thank you so much!!!!

VERY cute! I'm so jealous of how soon you're leaving! And then Deb very soon after you!

Wow, everyone has had such winding roads. I had mom and dad at home, mom was the stable one, dad was the fly by the seat of his pants. Mom did kick him out once I graduated college, but when he got sick she had him come back home to ensure he was taken care of, she was that kind of lady. He got sick one week, with what we thought was the flu and by Sunday morning, five years to the day after the sister who raised him, he was gone. "Silent" heart-attack at 49. He did try to get up and go to work on the Friday, crazy man. I love both of them very much, even if they were never really ready for me to grow up. Oh, yeah I have an other brother, but he has issues. Although I this week he finally made mature plans for life insurance and once again, also my mother in her will, I have been made trustee for his kids, but only for their money, her sister will get the actual kids, lol.

You know you're stressed out when you look forward to going to work to escape reality temporarily. :sad2:

Can't wait to see those pics Holly if you can post them on here!

I think that's a great idea. With my luck, when I finally do have time, I probably won't feel that urge to let loose. I'll just wing it! :goodvibes

If you have any trouble with getting upset, just visualize all the times you held it in with the ex and I will give you dimes to donuts, it will all come out.

Angie, I loved your story. I think you and Dennis must be just the most wonderful parents. You are very blessed and DH and I just can't wait to meet you. Your story is so inspiring!!

I know I'm so lucky to have John in my life....I would be lost without him.

When we almost lost mom 4 years ago when she first got sick....John said to me.....I don't know what I would do if I lost you....you're my reason for every breath I take....that about sums it up....and goes the same for me too about him!
