I love how the goose's outfit keeps changing! And watching for animals. The porcupines sure are cute when they show up! I didn't realize that's a place you can stay. I checked out his website and would love to spend a weekend up there.
We were feeling relieved as John has had some health issues, and he had been to the Dr's this morning and things are OK.Just some medication for high blood pressure and some statins for cholesterol levels. We felt a weight had been lifted and this was a relaxing, chatty time.
Tuesday will be a very low crowd, quiet day after the holiday weekend. That is our favorite week to go to DL.
I don't remember this, but I will send pixie dust and a prayer.
Jackie and I will rebook on our Dec cruise and will be hoping for the Northern Europe (rumors) itinerary!
Pizza is always a good yummy option!!!! I adore pizze, Miss V - do you make your own crust?
This place looks so charming, I would love to be able to have tea/coffee there - maybe on our visit to UK (hopefully soon!)
I'm so late this morning, can't seem to get up and moving, but good news - I'll be checking out a bunch of excursions in Cabo (YES I'M GOING!) this week. I'm leaving Sunday and will return on Wed. We have a horseback riding event planned to try that out - I wasn't really interested in bouncing around in an ATV, Jeep etc. My guts just don't hold up the same to that stuff anymore. But I will be asking the DCM about those for you who would be interested in that. We also have a sunset dinner thingy planned (I havent' seen itinerary yet) but I'm looking forward to it. I'm going to take my hand held recorder and take notes as we walk through the various hotels and points of interest.
I don't know why I'm flapping on... anyway, every body have a great day!
Run, run, fast as you can, can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man!![]()

I can't think today, but I need a color that starts with "C"...all I can think of are:
coral
cobalt blue....
but is there a "regular" color that starts with c?
Can someone post the link. I would like to add to my favorites at work.
Lisa, you might also consider instead getting at least one Mintek portable DVD player for traveling. I have found them to be very reliable over the years. We use head phones and splitters for more than one child.

From the Woodside Elementary parent handbook:
Woodside School is a unique preschool through 8th grade, one-school district and community facility that offers all the benefits of a personalized small school. The fifteen-acre campus provides an environment of beauty and an atmosphere of freedom to its students. In addition to the academic buildings there are two soccer fields, one baseball field and two tennis courts. Five separate play areas with appropriate equipment are provided for the preschool, kindergarten, primary, intermediate and middle grades. The Sellman Auditorium, a large multipurpose room, accommodates a basketball court and movable stage for concerts and dramatic productions. The Woodside Community Gym, a stateof the art regulation sized gym was completed in 2002. The school has two science rooms, an art room, a library and two computer labs. All classrooms on campus are wired to the internet. A separate nature area near the creek is reserved for scientific ecological studies. Immediatelyadjacent to this outdoor area is an outdoor ampitheater that is used for group activities including assemblies, graduation and special programs. The construction of twelve new classrooms, an office and staff room, two music rooms, and a student services building began in the fall of 2006. After completion of the construction, portable classrooms will be removed and the fields will be renovated and expanded.

Our DD is a big time Seahawk fan.She has a Seahawk tatoo on her ankle. They had season tickets for several years, but she started back to college and works full time a couple of years ago, so ....not enough time to devote to those weekends in Seattle. They liked to take the Amtrak train from Portland, stay overnight and then Amtrack back Sunday night.
Just think how wonderful it would be if all children had these kinds of facilities and opportunities.
Ahhh . . . but this is not an iPod mom!
