Pardon my ignorance....but what do you mean by sponges??? the kind we clean with or are they some kind of food to eat? I just don't have a clue!

YES, I have seen the diving for the cross...used to watch it with my grandmother every year on her "Greek TV station". I would love to visit there....sounds like a road trip!

I have been gone all day, so I am sure that this has been answered, but real sponges are living animals. The sponge is the "shell" of the animal that lives inside. They live on the bottom of the ocean, and divers in the old kind of dive suits (big helmet and hoses going down from the boat) used to dive for them in the warm waters off of Tarpon Springs.

Natural sponges are the absolute BEST sponges, and until they fished them dry in the gulf, it was a booming business for the Greek community there.

5 days off! You're so lucky! And a new laptop too.....I'm jealous! I'm impatiently waiting for my student loan check October 4th so I can get my new laptop. I fell in love with a pink one from Dell!

I bought mine from Dell. I got in from the outlet because I don't want windows vista and it is the only way to get one with XP. But I would love a pink one.

My new mother hen older brother is coming back into town on Saturday. What a relief for me! YEA! He can help with Ray, the house and we have an appointment to see the lawyer and read the Will. I think it's going to start getting real for me.

Must be nice to have a brother mother hen to look after you!

My GD was soooo cute all dressed up in her "princess" outfit. The little girls just look precious!!

All went very well at both doctor's appointments. Everything is A-OK and my colonoscopy is scheduled for January 11, 2008 as has to be at least 8 weeks after surgery!! I got the new DPT booster as I needed at tetanus shot. Anyone have one of those yet?

She must have looked so cute! I usually see lots of adorable little princesses on formal night on the cruise too.

No such luck. His doc told me that if his behavior got worse that I should call her and we'd go from there. Of course I called the doc immediately and left her a message because 3 days in a row of scary behavior from him is not OK. Today during his rampage he told the teachers he wanted to kill them and cut them all up. Very scary. Yet his dad still insists there's nothing abnormal going on. Men! Anyway, I expect the doc to call me any time now. But the good news is that he's really getting tired of not having any toys and has been begging me today for something to play with. So I reminded him that he has to have a day of good behavior to start earning his things back. He told me, "This is no fun anymore, so I'm going to be extra good every day!" We'll see.

Poor Holly!! I am hopeful that you are going to figure out what is going on with Tyler. Sounds to me like something is going on at the school...any thoughts???

Yup. There have been tons of changes there and he's absolutely miserable. He's made it clear (and tells everybody there) that he doesn't want to be there anymore. I wouldn't be happy either with the changes that have been going on there, and I told him I understand why he's unhappy, but that he only has a couple days left and will never have to go back again and that we have no other options right now. No matter how upset he is, his behavior is unacceptable. Other kids are very unhappy there too (many teachers have told me) and a couple teachers are quitting. I'm just glad he only has 2 more days! So is Tyler....every morning, as soon as he wakes up, he tells me how many days he has left there. Well, at least he's learning a bit of math!

I’m trying to figure out what Olivia and I can do together as a special lunch on our last day at WDW, but I’m kind of stumped. We’re already doing Crystal Palace for breakfast, which I know she’s going to love!
LOTS of work to get done today, and then I’m doing continuing education tomorrow (BLAH!).

What about a visit to Whisper Canyon Cafe, should be quiet, or as quiet as WCC can be, at lunch and Olivia will be doted on.
