Thanks for all the dining suggestions at DL, looks like Napa is probably out as it sounds like a nice romantic evening sans kids....! Maybe another visit!

Comedy club for me tonight with a friend, sleep all day tomorrow (or maybe mow & clean house), after picking Tyler up tomorrow we'll go see fireworks at a local festival, Sunday maybe go out of town to visit my mom (and maybe my dad & stepmom too). All tentative....we'll sort of just wing it this weekend.

I have my volunteer time at the Give Kids the World Village tomorrow from 9a-12n, then maybe will get some scrapbooking done. Need to do laundry and start planning what I'm packing to go see my parents in Argentina. I can't believe that I leave on Thursday!

just got off the phone with DEB and she is miserable!!!!! they are taking her up to the OR to open and clean out the wounds god help her I will try to keep every one posted I sent off a PM to Heather (threebritts) with the hospital address and all.

Both of my parents worked in Veterans Service. My mom worked in prosthetics at the VA Hospital in Martinez and my dad was the County Veterans Service department head.

They did have to deal with some unhappy circumstances, but most people were very grateful for the work that they both did. I'm sure there are many that are thankful for your service as well.

Absolutely! There are just some weeks when it seems I am dealing with nothing but unreasonable people.....like a 45 minute rant because she waited 25 minutes for an appointment. They all just seemed that way this week and my patience was thin also. We have been dealing with alot ourselves the last couple of weeks and I know that makes it more difficult for me. Someone at work (in another department) said that it had seemed like a "full moon week", so I guess it was not just me. I'm off for 3 days though now and I am sure next week will be better.

Thanks for asking about the long johns! Believe it or not, I DID find some - at the Bass Outdoor World outlet....$29 per piece (top/bottom)....in black, but at least it wasn't CAMO! I'll be returning them if I end up not needing them!
