Ok got the address and ordered the flowers, they promised they would be sent today. She'll be getting a balloon,teddy bear and flowers and asked her to make it colorful and shes going to throw some "lime" green carnations in there.
I have got to go to a meeting but will PM all involved with my address later and those who wanted the hospital one too later this afternoon.

Well I'm going to be brave and ask here first.

Do any of you DVC owners have points to rent for 4 nights before the cruise next May. I am thinking BCV or BWV, because of The garden thingy at Epcot, but would consider anywhere. I estimate 68 points if at BCV.

I highly doubt any of you would have any left giving your love of WDW, but I thought I would ask.

It is a beautiful day here. It is also one of our Bank Holidays(public holiday), so John is off work on Monday. We will potter around home. Our son and daughter in law are back from the South of France and had a great time, but were a little disappointed with the weather. Seems the French are disgusted with their weather this year. Just like us. I think Northern Europe has not had the best summer weather wise.

Roll on November and our WDW vacation and cruise!

I got that for John for his birthday. It is a BIG book!! Not sure he will have the interest to read it, but I also got one with historic photos and the story a lot simpler, and he enjoyed that. I will have a go reading it though.

DH has read it and says it is good. I haven't attempted it yet - too busy re-reading all the Harry Potters! We also bought a DVD which is quite interesting, 'A Man, A Plan, A Canal, Panama'.

I have my volunteer time at the Give Kids the World Village tomorrow from 9a-12n, then maybe will get some scrapbooking done. Need to do laundry and start planning what I'm packing to go see my parents in Argentina. I can't believe that I leave on Thursday!

I did that a couple of times on my college program, it was so much fun!! that is one the coolest places I've EVER seen...and the kids were wonderful

My job is to hear all the complaints at a Veteran's Hospital. Some people are just angry with everything, some have legitimate concerns, some just have mental illnesses that make them unable to control their anger. My job is to listen, calm them and make it all better.

I know you can't say this to them, but they should be glad they have a Veteran's Hospital to complain about. Here in the UK, there's no such thing. In fact, we don't even have proper military hospitals any more for our currently serving military personnel.

What a horrible procedure she has to have done today. I cringed just hearing John describe it. Poor Deb.

I should be taking a nap to take advantage of this short time off school, but decided to do dishes and laundry first. Clothes are washing in cold and I'm waiting for my pot of water on the stove to get hot so I can wash dishes in hot water. Too funny! After dishes and putting clothes in the dryer, I should mow. I haven't had to mow for at least a month, but we finally had rain (about 4 days worth), so the grass turned green and started growing again. I suppose I could wait until tomorrow because there are still a couple people in the neighborhood who haven't mowed yet. As long as I'm not the last to mow, it can go another day. Maybe I'll nap instead of mowing today. OR I suppose I could do both because the show at the comedy club doesn't start until 10:30pm and I doubt I'd be able to stay up that late without a nap!
