alright I'm not a huge football fan, but I wanted to give a shoutout to my boys the Texans. we make suck in the regular season, but we beat the Cowboys tonightt baby!!!!! and boy do I hate the Cowboys

Vanessa will stay in NY tonight and fly out at 7am to Reagan instead of Dulles. Glad it is Sunday...

All the hotels were sold out as everything cancelled out of JFK. She called an emergengy # and a supervisor was going to pick her up at JFK and get her back in the morning for the 7am flight.

She will be exhausted.

That last picture, that I really like - it looks like fog that the lights are cutting through. That was the haze because it was so HOT. It was like being in a Sweedish sauna here last night - high humidity too!

Awesome fireworks tonight! The festival going on had lots of big tents with live music and food vendors. The location had a huge playground with great equipment and giant sandboxes. I think Tyler got a kick out of playing at a playground after dark! Fireworks were great! We had to wear jeans & jackets because it was quite chilly outside, but it was still a beautiful night. I'm pretty wiped out though because by the time we got home, read Tyler's bedtime book and did his bedtime songs, it was 11pm!

I've decided our plan for tomorrow is to stay home and clean. Tyler has agreed to fill a couple of large totes with toys he doesn't play with anymore. Hmmmm.....I'll believe it when I see it! But he did let me list his turtle sandbox for sale, so he might just be on a roll! It could have something to do with him wanting to save money for another cruise.

The first time we went to WDW after DGS was potty trained was a mess. He wouldn't use any of the bathrooms in the park because they were Mickey's and he didn't have his permission. Needless to say we had to buy some pull-ups since we couldn't find Mickey everytime we needed to go to the bathroom!

Aren't kids interesting? You never know what they will get into their heads.

Would a note from Mickey have done the trick? I am thinking of Mickey stationery from one of the stores and printing that does not look familiar to the kid. Note could say "This letter gives so-and-so permission to use any of my bathrooms. love, Mickey"

Well . . . photography is one of my hobbies - Dr. Hug's too. But the photographer for the paper had access to the field and probably a few more lenses than me.

BTW - I have a Canon Digital Rebel XT, and LOVE it! I have taken some photos of shows on the Magic that I really like.

Browns winning 17-10, but time for bed soon. More stuff to move for Alex tomorrow.

What size would you suggest for the cruise - maybe the 2-3 day? (to fit in our bathroom.

I think the 2-3 day might work well but depends on how much stuff you bring for the kids.

OK, I love to read, and consider myself a speedy reader, but if I read 6 in one day it would have to be the "comic" variety - WOW!

Got Alex most of the way moved to his new digs for medical school today. Another HS football game tonight. Leaving soon.

When I get on a roll with an author, I will check out everything in the local library that she or he has ever written. I read 6 John Lescoart's in one day last week. You must remember I up here relaxing at the Lake by myself so I answer to no one but myself about what I do with my time.
