Anyone going to a Harry Potter party for the release? My son and I have the night all planned - 9pm-midnight at a bookstore. Should be fun!

What is the official date for the book release? They have changed it so many times...I have a bad feeling it is happening on a weekend when we are going to be camping DD9 and I usually go to a bookstore for a party at midnight with a friend and her DD10. Then I have the bad habit of getting home around 1 or 2 am and staying up until the book is done, which means I don't get to sleep at all.
I saw the preview of the movie this weekend, it looks so good!

My dinnermates are staying at the Radison in Port Canaveral. I don't think their hotel or ours provides transporatation to the Port, but it's easy enough to take a cab or car service. That's what we're going to do and probably Lisa and Darrell will do the same.

Ya know, I AM up at 4am most nights.....just a night owl I guess. But I thought about it after I posted that and realized that we saw the Magic going out on Sat night. We were taking the Wonder out on Sun. Either way, we were really excited and said that will be us tomorrow!!!

PJ.....I LOVE the new site for the logo shirts.....I want to order one in every color.....is it possible for you to do a Champagne Girls logo also? Not sure if we can use the one we already have because of copywrite rules....but I would be interested to see what you can come up with that we might be able to use. If you have some time and feel so inclined....all the girls would really appreciate it. Thanks. Hey, what about one for the Lost Beer Boys too!!!!!

Exactly the same in our house! I do GREAT laundry! That way... no ironing!! I am also great with a steamer and it's good for traveling too!

And our cleaners loves us too, same with DH's shirts! It's worth a buck and a half a shirt to me as he only wears nice dress shirts a couple time a month!

I hope so! I watched the first crossing on the web cam and was so excited that a DISer got to pilot the ship. That was very awesome!

It was exciting for me too... I'm also a big Disney fan, so I could not miss the Magic's transit and not be there.

As exciting as transiting the ship was the opportunity to spend the day with a fun group of DISers

Thanks for posting the webcam - I'm going to share it with friends and family for our crossing next year! That will be very cool! Wonder if you can see folks on the deck?

You must have been so amazed being able to captain the ship thru the locks... Good for you! How on earth does somebody get so lucky?

THey can actually zoom in close enough to see the faces of those on deck. There's also an email address of the camera operator... they'll usually take your requests.

As far as getting so lucky... let's just say the MAGIC was my office for 1 day

We were on the EB repo in 2005 and it truly was an experience of a lifetime!! Truly a Magical Day! We had a great party on the deck of another Cat 3 family and it was very fun.

Hope you can "Captain" the ship again!

For that EB repo cruise I was at the Miraflores locks visitors' center taking pictures with my cell phone and emailing them to a friend who would then post them to the thread... that was fun!!! Felt so high-tech!

We hope you can pilot our crossing too. I remember reading everything on the DIS that was happing back in 2005 and saw your name mentioned many, many times....all kind words of course!!! We look forward to meeting you...thanks for posting!!!

All I can say is that the group was great. I don't make many requests to my boss regarding going on specific ships, so far the few requests have been honored... so there's a pretty good chance that I will get away with this one as well...

Hi angel, good to see you trying to keep up....I think we'll look great in our pink champagne girls tees for our picture. PJ will come up with something great, I'm sure.

You take all the time you need to heal.....in the meantime, pamper yourself. Take bubble baths, go get a mani/pedicure, maybe a massage, definitely BUY SHOES and have some champagne in the middle of the day just because!!!!!

The radison DID provide a free shuttle to the port two years ago when we stayed there - I really doubt that they discontinued it - it was VERY popular. They also had a deal with parking for the week at the port, and breakfast the morning of departure. They had a small van-bus, with a trailer for the luggage.

WOW that's an awesome deal....Looks like LisaG520/Lisa and Darrell know what they're doing. Why don't you stay there anymore? I would jump hotels in a minute for this deal, but I can't give up my oceanfront balcony. I NEED to be close to the water as often as possible in my life.

DD got cranky, and we felt odd the whole night - like the place was not "clean". I wrote a letter and they gave us a full refund, which was nice, but we have stayed at WDW before the cruise ever since, and drove down in the morning.

I will buy and wear just about any shirt - no problem.

YUCK!!!!! I definitely would not stay there anymore either. What a shame, it's such a great deal, but that's really skeevy! I think I'll stay where I am. We've been there twice already and loved it....no problems and everything was very clean.

Well okay then.....PJ are your reading???? We need some more logos. It would be great to get a pic with the blue and pink shirts of the guys and gals together....in addition to the ship logo DIS picture. Definitely scrapbook material.

I need to find a DH like that because I don't do any of those thinge either! Poor Tyler...whenever something of his needs to be sewn, he already knows to take it to his stepmom. She just laughs at me and tells me it's no problem because setting up for whatever she's sewing takes longer than actually sewing it! The repair job usually involves his beloved bear, Bo. His tail is always in danger of falling off because that's Tyler's favorite spot.
