I finally got my media player working. This is really neat and so far I just have seen a bird! Bubba, thanks for the link! Lisa

Welcome! Stop you guys! I have to go to bed!:lmao: Ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer them tomorrow night.

Karen, the most wonderful thing happened today...it was Tom's last day of school, so only a half day, he took the bus to my house to help me out today....he walked in the door holding about a 4 week old all black blue eyed long haired kitten. He found her outside my steps all alone. He asked his mom if he can keep her and she said yes. Her name is shadow and she's been fed formula and went to sleep happy with a full belly and a family to love her. I sooooo wanted to keep her, but John is alergic and I barely get away with having ella. So I'm glad she's right down the road and I can see her anytime. I have to get a picture of her....she's so tiny and sweet. I held her all day today until Tom took her home.:cloud9: :cutie: :cloud9:

I love baby kitties! This will be so good for Tom. This might be what he needs in his life to see that taking care of something (someone!) special can take away the "it's all about me" syndrome that happens with young people!!

Visiting will be wonderful! Helping him to enjoy this new responsibility is priceless!

Looking forward to pics!!

Karen

Ooooohhh, what was that??? It looked like a horse with horns and stripes on him. I loved watching him run away, beautiful. I wish they had captions with the name of each animal, so I would know what I was looking at.....Do you notice how most of the leave following the path???:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Water Buffalo....is that what that was....this one must be older, longer horns and walking not running down the path.:goodvibes :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

I called it a water buffalo, but it is probably a cape buffalo...:confused3

Just for shoes? . . .

I am bummed. Was having a problem with my Macbook which I thought was obviously a defective battery. Well, when I went to the genius bar(at the Apple store 45 mins away) they told me they would have to keep it to duplicate the problem - bummer. So now I am on my old 12" Powerbook, that is the computer Amy usually uses.

We also got Alex his new laptop he wanted for next school year - a new 15" Macbook Pro, so I am even more bummed and feeling the envy.

It could always be worse, John. What if all you had was a Windoze laptop???:scared1: :scared1:

WOW!!!

THE ZEBRA'S ARE IN THE HOUSE!!

There are tons of them on right now!!

WOOHOO!

Karen

Off to DL tomorrow! Got to get to sleep but before I go I want to send good wishes and positive thoughts to Noel and Mandy and any others who are under the weather; everyone take care!:goodvibes

Good morning. It was a busy night at the water hole then!!!

Me too, I have not been feeling very well at all. I will pray for you.

Sorry to hear that Lisa. I had missed you but I know you are very busy too.

We have some very good friends who live in Glenfield and another close family who lived in Dunstable. We come over there and they come over here all the time. (actually it's easier for them, because of the dollar to the pound) We have taken several trips through the countryside. We've been to Harrogate.

Now the family who lived in Dunstable have moved to Devon. We went there last year. It's beautiful too. Lots of places to walk.

I'll tell you a funny story....until we started coming over with a long list of places we wanted to visit, our friends hardly ever visited their own country. Now they do it all the time, and they are making lists for US!:)
Connie

One good thing about over here is the short distances to get anywhere, though in general we all prefer to fly off to warmer places!!!

That is sweet. I look forward to seeing a picture.

Oh angel....it's soooooo great to see you on here.....you just do what you can when you can and don't worry about past stuff....we'll keep you up to date on the good stuff. We're more concerned about you and getting you feeling better. Big Hugs and Lots of Love....my good friend!!!!

Thank you Deb, I've missed you too!

....that darn cat....sure, what does she care.....she has 9 lives, but what about you???

Sooooo right! she just looked at me wher I was laying at the foot of the stairs in a crumpled heap...and then walked over me!!!:sad2:

Welcome back Mandy....glad you are feeling a bit better. Sorry to hear about the cat trip though. Dogs aren't much better, I trip over our 80# dog everynight (no I haven't learned) if I get up to check on the girls or something.
:

Thanks Kaylee

I knew there would be someone out there to share my love!!! OK shoe girls, where are you, I know there are more hiding out there somewhere:lmao: It's funny, right now the radio station out here has a "pick your pump" contest...either 106.00 gas card or any pair of shoes off this website (up to 250.00). Almost everyone who wins picks the......GAS:confused3 :scared1: :confused3 And yes, they are women who still pick the gas. Of course they always say something like, I really want the shoes but........ let me tell you, no contest here for me...it would be the shoes! I can stay home and walk a bit more if I had to:rotfl2:

me me me!!! another shoe girl....I heard the call from over here in the UK!:cool1: Maybe that's what I need to feel brighter.....some new shoes!:cloud9:

I have been praying for you and I will continue. You will feel better....it will take time though....

Thank you for your prayers....with all the help I'm getting I'm hoping for some brighter days soon. We're thinking of trying to find something as a remembrance at the moment...so any ideas would be good. We've thought of maybe a rose tree or something...

Mandy,

So good to see your avatar again!! I have really missed you in the wee hours of the morning!!!

I hope that all is "brighter" in your world and we look forward to hearing from you more as tie goes by...

Karen

Many thanks Karen, I've missed you too:hug:
