Thank you for your prayers....with all the help I'm getting I'm hoping for some brighter days soon. We're thinking of trying to find something as a remembrance at the moment...so any ideas would be good. We've thought of maybe a rose tree or something...

Mandy I think something living as a remembrance is lovely. Roses are beautiful.

Santa claus. Believe it or not he is working year round. Great at Christmas time though. Then there is a huge tree and smowmen in the outside area. Live feed then for a few months.

We and a few others on another forum were hooked last year, and also on the bears too as they played and then prepared for hibernation. Hummingbirds are sweet too.

Sometimes in the evenings on the Africam you can hear African singing from somewhere. I suppose there is a hotel there and they could have been having a themed evening or something. It was quite eerie!

Awesome first night viewing for you guys! This is the first time I've seen the jackel stop for a drink. They usually walk right on by at a rather quick pace. Too cool!

Oh man...I signed off right before the jackel. I was able to get to the camera through the 'resort' web site and didn't have to download the media player version requested when I used the direct link ??? have no idea why, but I got to watch the baboons and zebra! I could use the direct link from my work computer however.

OK...back to catching up on posts.

Hey all....don't think I have checked in in a while. John left the top down on the Mustang last night and it poured...not a smart move!

Work has been crazy buzy and I signed up to be a secret shopper and have had a ton of assignements this week, so far it's pretty fun and I can put the extra money towards the cruise. Friday night we are going bowling and not sure what we have going on this weekend.

We are using the pool a lot, the water is warm and doesn't have to be heated but it is a bit of a pain to try and keep Samantha's ear dry. Poor kid.

I can't believe it's June...where has the year gone already?

I have been diagnosed with acute cholecystitis which is inflammation of the gall bladder caused by gall stones.

Next appointment is with a surgeon prior to scheduling removal of my gall bladder.

My middle DD had this same surgery 9 years ago so I have some idea of what to expect.

For now, I am resting and taking it easy. I will try to keep up but haven't had the energy to do much.
