Did you make your name tags yourself? I seem to be focused on this one!
Our tags are from Dland and another set from WDW. Kinda look like the one that the CMs wear (not to us on the Dis since we are knowers of all, but to newbees I think they do)
What is BB (re: hotel lazy river)?
Blizzard Beach (WDW) isn't that the name of the water park there? We only went one day back in '05 so I'm not positive.
I had a wonderful time at the Meals On Wheels Gala Fundraiser in SF. The food, the wine....it was just extraordinary. All the finest restaurants and wines. And for a good cause. But I am wiped out after two events in one week-end. Good-night all! Lisa
Ummmmm . . . Nanette, am I missing something, or did you just answer that question for me?
Sometimes I wonder if we are just bumpkins out here in the Midwest and Northeast.
Don't worry, John....I found that quite funny too! I read that and thought, "Yup, California sure does sound weird!" No naked men with fishnets & Santa hats running the streets around here!![]()

We came on Saturday for the Fire Island wedding of DS#1 who got engaged to DG (Darling Girl) on the WONDER in September. We were COLD Friday night. Saturday was warmer and Sunday--when we would be leaving for Indy--was short sleeved weather.
BUT
thewore her strapless gown with lace and train on the beach, and was barefoot for the wedding. DS#1
wore sandals with his tuxedo. DS#2 got really dressed up to be Best Man--Slacks, button down shirt with a TIE, and a sports jacket with his SANDALS and SUN GLASSES.
Everyone looked great. The drizzle stopped for the duration. There were a FEW patches of blue sky showing. The reception was grand. The bride and groom had decorated the cake made by DG's mother. We are so blessed to have her in our family now.
But, sure wish the weather of Sunday had been there Saturday.
Sunday afternoon we flew Delta out of JFK and were stalled at luggage check (terminal 2) for a LONG time--we no idea what caused the delay--and wonder if some dignitary flew in and they were trying to keep the airport hallways empty because we saw a police cavalcade depart and then the lines began to move.

mom of 2 princesses, do you have early or late seating on the repo?
We chose early this time so we could partake in some of the late nite buffets. If you still have early closer to cruise time, we're looking for tablemates. Maybe we could hookup. Just somethin' to think about. We would rather be with someone we already think is mello like us, then to get stuck with some fuddy duddys!![]()
I am sure Tim would love that. I will keep that it mind. Are you sure we are not fuddy duddy's?

nskjerven said:I've wondered how I will deal with her as she gets older. Not sure if I should talk about the choices in the real sense of been there done that, or better to keep it light. Sometimes the hard part is getting DH to believe that infact she will do those things (& be sneaky about them too) My plan is just to be over invovled in everything the kids do. That way I can at least be aware of what's going on (I hope!) Got any pointers send them my way....
Nan,
Same plan, I have always been very involved and plan to stay that way! What I need to get better at is having ALL the kids at our place. I'm not really good at letting go of the control of the situation! Karen
We started to clean out the garage and the POD (storage thing in our driveway since last summer) this weekend and Paul posted stuff on Craigs list and he sold one of the kids toys tonight for $50!!!!He walked back in the house and said here's your $50 where do you want it? I said stick it in the Disney Cruise ship bank!!!! Yeah!!!! $50 closer
now if the rest of the stuff could go that easy! He did get another bite on a madeline doll house for $100, but they want it shipped to Portland. They offered to pay for shipping and handling so I think I'm packing it up tomorrow. closer to a clean garage and cruise money what could be better than that!

Yes Angie and Dennis...you guys look fantastic!Good Morning!
Can't comment on anyone else because we haven't met, but Dennis and Angie you guys look GREAT!
(PS - LOVE the shirts!)
okay, we're nuts in California I'll admit it, but.....(read below)
you won't find this in the streets of San Jose, or Half Moon Bay (or in Woodside, right Lisa & Noel?)....this kind of stuff is only in San Francisco and usually on crazy days like during the Bay to Breakers race (okay, and Halloween and St. Pats day, and okay any excuse SF people can think of)
Ours are from WDW - here's a picture of them up close - (sorry not the best)

We too get asked direction, and in the shops people always ask me if there are any more of something available. CMs always ask about them since they have Pooh on them and I guess they were never available at DL that way. You can get them just past the train station as you enter the park to the right. They usually have new one's each year for the current promotion. I did see 2007 ones in the Pooh shop in Critter Country as well.
