. And everyone please look after all kids, even if not yours, and be ready to step in whenever you suspect a problem. We need to look out for each other.

I was thinking about the situation with the man grabbing the little 2 year old at the mall. I can't believe bystanders didn't tackle him! I don't know all the details but if there was anyone around that witnessed it, you would have thought they would have stopped him from leaving. Now he is free to take someone else's child. So scary. . . . found out now that my best instrument is the iPod.

This will be our first cruise EVER - so no doubt we'll have lots of questions for you guys in the coming months.;)

Welcome, we have several families here who are doing this as their first cruise! Nothing like starting out with the best! :thumbsup2

I love the chocolate covered strawberries at DL. As soon as I get off the Winnie-the-Pooh ride we head for them. I then sit an eat it while watching the people getting their pictures taken with Pooh and Friends. - I'll be doing just this next Sunday morning!

I don't make it that far.....have to get mine on Main Street. Are you stayiing at DLR for the weekend? I think a birthday bottle of Banfi Rosa Regale would go very well with those...just bring it from home! ::yes::

Just bought a new top for next Sunday's dinner...I'll be in DIS lime green. Cheri, shall I bring my lime greeen feather boas so folks can spot us??? :upsidedow I'm only wacky enough to wear it if I have a partner in the madness.

Best feeling on the ship: there are several good moments up to this point, but it's the ship's horn at sail away that does me in!

Worst feeling on the ship: besides the time I took a nose dive in the lobby on the Magic, and the time I took a nose dive in the rocks in 4 inches of water on Serenity Bay, I'd say saying good bye to my friends at breakfast the last day. Soooooooo sad :sad1:

Happy Mother's Day everyone!!

Count me in as a wanna be writer...I am not good in the least but I would love to do anyway.

Well we are about out of here....have a great week everyone and "see ya real soon"!!

So PJ, are you bringing mom now and dumping us?

Nope, she doesn't want to be in the air for 6 hours to get home. Oh well, I have to go with my favourite greek family! Life is tough.

We will be wearing our lime green Geek shirts from Dec cruise. I have no boa though. :)

For when you get back V, I think you sell yourself short. While trip reports are not a novel, reading your trip reports is really enjoyable, and I think you DO have a gift for writing.

Happy Mother's Day to everyone!! DH and I are going to visit the kids later today.

Anyone watch the YouTube video showing the first sailing of the Magic to the Med? DH and I watched yesterday and were ALMOST sad we did not take this cruise. I agreed with the comment that the ship did not look as full as it usually does.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY everyone...hope you all get to share some special time with the ones you love the most. Eat, Drink and Enjoy!:grouphug:  :grouphug:

To Lucy, Cheri and Amy...I got your PMs and apologize for not responding yet, but I will do so in a day or two.

CELEBRATE and CHEERS to all!!!

Do you have the link for the video? I'm trying to search for it....Lisa

Originally we were planning to use Priceline to get a hotel for Saturday night but since last time we did that (end of April) we came home to a severely limping cat and spent several hours at the vet er we probably aren't. She is still limping but defintely getting around better.

We'll probably make our final decision on Wed as to try for a priceline hotel or not. but we will for sure be there first thing Sunday morning - gotta ride Space Mountain and I hear Splash Mountain has reopened finally.

If they are mine, then I would have to answer the emergency pages about meat in their pasta sauce, lol. :scared1:

Ok, that was funny! I go down to the kids club and 4 little girls come over with thier hand on thier hips telling me they are not going to eat the food at the kids club because they put meat in thier sauce.

I don't know where it will lead, it may lead nowhere - but I have had a very positive change of attitude since I decided to at least test the waters. I was feeling very trapped, and in some ways I don't think was giving myself enough credit for what my potential could be.

The last two years in my current job have been very draining, and difficult. At the same time because of reductions, while I once had two people working with me, I am now a one man show, and it is starting to effect my health, sanity, and time with my family - which is my biggest concern.

What I really want to do is write, but, I think some other field of law is safer with a kid going to med school and another one in first grade.

With my luck, I will land some job that will not allow me to take two weeks off next May!:scared1:

umm you don't even go there! Unless you are providing valium, there will be no talk of missing the cruise...

OK....somebody on my other meet thread just posted a question that will help the newbies here understand our obsession a bit more. :rotfl2: Here goes: At what point do you have the best feeling on the ship and at what point do you have the worst? For many people it would be stepping on the ship and getting off at the end. Anything more specific?

Here's mine -- Best feeling onboard: every chance I get to sit on the balcony when out in the middle of the ocean, just watching the water go by, and hearing that splashing sound against the side of the ship. Worst feeling: hearing my alarm wake me up the morning we get off the ship.

Worst Feeling? Sobbing in the dining room in front of PJ, Angie, Dr. Hug, John1, Amy and all the kids at breakfast (um, I do not cry). It was the most awful feeling!

Best Feeling? Watching DD and Sophia go down the slide over and over again. Although close tie with CC.
