Just bought a new top for next Sunday's dinner...I'll be in DIS lime green. Cheri, shall I bring my lime greeen feather boas so folks can spot us??? I'm only wacky enough to wear it if I have a partner in the madness.

Best feeling on the ship: there are several good moments up to this point, but it's the ship's horn at sail away that does me in!

Worst feeling on the ship: besides the time I took a nose dive in the lobby on the Magic, and the time I took a nose dive in the rocks in 4 inches of water on Serenity Bay, I'd say saying good bye to my friends at breakfast the last day. Soooooooo sad

I remember certain comments on our thread before our November cruise - how "lame" we were because we were all going to order braclets and wear boa's. Then when we got there - the terminal was FILLED with DIS Green boa's and we even had a certain "Surly" who was proud as punch to be sporting his at the Dis meet... WHAT FUN!!! Life is too short too be thinking we are all so darn important that we can't be silly and find the JOY within... after all - isn't that what DISNEY is all about? JOY? Even as wacky as she can be - don't for one minute think my sister doesn't have a deep and smart side - she's one heck of an actress - and knows her Shakespeare and English History to boot.

For me - one of my best moments was hearing that horn - I get verclempt just thinking about it now!

I also enjoyed our "sisters hot chocolate" night - my chees were hurting from the stories and laughter.

I hated seeing my sister fall (thank God those shoes are gone now!) and I hated saying goodbye to everyone as well.

I look forward to meeting a whole new group of Dis lovin folk.

GinaMarie - You don't ever have to apologize for being human and having emotions. Frankly, I think people who AREN'T in touch with their emotions are weak. Besides - your from NY girl friend - we know you are tough - you can't live there without being that way. (I lived on Long Island for 5 years!) It taught me a good many things - PLUS some of my FAVORITE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD ARE NYers!!! (including my Hubby!)

Just dropping in to say "Hi" and to let you all know that our family of 3 have finally managed to get a Cat. 9 on this cruise!

This will be our first cruise EVER - so no doubt we'll have lots of questions for you guys in the coming months.

Hi there and welcome. This is going to be a great cruise with great people.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw those pictures, but my brain kept overwriting that with "in a year YOU (ME) wll be on that ship!!!" and that is the thought I kept focusing on.

I have got to get busy though because I'll be meeting it in Barcelona IN TWO WEEKS and I'm not ready yet -

Worst Feeling? Sobbing in the dining room in front of PJ, Angie, Dr. Hug, John1, Amy and all the kids at breakfast (um, I do not cry). It was the most awful feeling!

Best Feeling? Watching DD and Sophia go down the slide over and over again. Although close tie with CC.

Ok that last morning was one of my best memories, I had never had that reaction when leaving the ship. I had never meet such wonderful people before, that is was actually very upsetting parting from them . Although, playing in the water with the kids at CC was also great and feeding the sting rays, lol.

I don't think I had any bad memories, although why they made me get on a bus by myself when leaving the port I have no clue, cried most of the way to the airport. Next time I am staying with my people.

You are absolutley right. It definitley depends on the side! The bad part for me is that our DD was with Grandma and Grandpa overnight. We stayed home to watch that horrid game instead of dinner and a movie!

Don't even THINK about not coming, Jonh1. How will Elasto Boy survive this without Capt. Spanx to guide him? Dennis got a new job as a pharmacy manager at a store with a no Thanksgivig thru Jan vacation rule, but he told them right up front that we had a Dec cruise planned for months and they got approval from personnel for him to be gone. Stupid rule for pharmacy anyway, people do NOT buy more drugs because it is Christmas shopping season.

Well of course we would miss you! But that is really not a concern IS IT! I know you and Amy are a lot like us, so really, you would not go with your family? Don't think so! It is a FAMILY vacation. Which is why you freak me out when you say stuff like that! Stop it.

That was a sad morning. PJ were you boarding at the same time we were? You should have told them you were with us! We won't let you get separated again!

Angie, it had something to do with what airlines we were flying, but I do not mind walking, ended up walking from one end of the departing level to the other anyways.

But I did get to spend sometime with both your group and Kim's and Tana's after you left through security.

Thanks, sister! But I think I've forgotten quite a bit of the details of the above two subjects over the years...though I do sometimes still practice reciting sonnets on the drive home from work.

Yes, they are officially on their way to a new home where they will be worn by the lovely and talented HOLLY...who will wear them in comfort, good health and SAFTEY

Well, I still have to sort through junk mail, pay bills and probably go to the laundromat (plumber won't be here till Wed) and pick up some groceries so I can pack lunch this week. It's time to 'officially' start saving and dieting for my assorted Disney adventures coming up over the next year.

So mom got to pick anywhere that she wanted to go for dinner, she picked olive garden...so that's where we went.

Ok, that was funny! I go down to the kids club and 4 little girls come over with thier hand on thier hips telling me they are not going to eat the food at the kids club because they put meat in thier sauce.

I agree with those girls - yuck!! ( I once sent back a 4-cheese lasagna cause it had meat in it -and no mention of that on the menu, not a vegeatarian just don't like meat in sauce)

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!!!

We had a nice day today...went to brunch at a nice restaurant here in town. It's new and very good. My mother-in-law loved it and she also had a nice time.

Yesterday we went wine tasting in nearby Temecula for a friend's birthday. She rented a Mercedes limo bus. It was a ton of fun. My favorite winery was was Leonesse (http://www.leonessecellars.com/). They had a wonderful White Merlot, which is a type of wine I've never had before. We tried it later in the day at several other wineries but Leonesse had the best one. I also enjoyed their Muscat Canelli. I'm normally not a sweet wine person, but I really enjoyed it. Maybe it was my mood...who knows but it was yummy. Their port was also good, which they served with the most delicious truffle I'd ever had. I'm ready to go back!!! Their winery was in the most beautiful setting. I could have stayed there all day!

OK, I'll quit freaking you out.

You have no idea (maybe you do) what these cruises and these vacations mean to me. It would take an awful lot for me to say I was going to cancel this vacation. I think about it every day, and Sophia and I talk about it every day.

The group of people here have become like family to me, and it would make me crazy if I had to miss this cruise.

Don't worry Kim. I'm not planning on missing this. I think I would rather put up longer with my stressful job than miss this cruise, or the other vacations I now have planned.

Great pictures everybody . . .

I spent the day otuside - mowing, edging, weeding, powerwashed the deck, furniture and the house, and then played some frisbee with Alex while the dog chased.

After that, had to go and pick up Sophia halfway to Toledo (we had a nice cookout for the three of us before that) and just got home. I'm bushed!

Watching the GS/Utah game.

When I compare watching this series to the Cavs/Nets series, it's like I am not even watching the same sport. These two teams RUN so much! Exciting Basketball.

Hve to tell you Kim, Carlos Boozer is not a fav around here. He stabbed the Cavs in the back when they could have locked him in for much less money. He went back on his word to go to Utah for even more $$$. He gets BOOOED every time he comes here now.
