What really cracks me up is when some of the people on the DIS board comment on St. Maarten "clothing optional" beaches. Not always a pretty sight as many people are quite elderly!!

Since I grew up in California, spent time in Europe and traveled in the Caribbean "clothing optional" beaches were pretty common. Not always a pretty sight as many people are not always "eye candy"

By the way, gloomy rainy day in the Bay area so I was not suprised to hear that it snowed in Tahoe.

My experience with clothing optional: My mom took me to a clothing optional "resort" (actually more like a campground) here in Michigan when I was in my early 20s. I think it's called Turtle Lake Resort. She's a runner and was doing the stopwatch at a run taking place there. She didn't tell me what type of place it was, just asked me to join her while she helped out at a run and then she'd take me to breakfast afterwards. Quite a mean joke she played on me! I was pretty grossed out. But I'll have to admit, it sure was funny seeing men run like that! Seems like that would be painful! Something else funny: We were given a tour of the place and at their indoor pool, there were big signs posted saying "NO swimsuits allowed"!

I have got loads to do even if I'm not hopping. We go to Lanzarote in just 1 week and have to try my clothes on! I was hoping they would be all loose for this holiday. Still, I'm a little down on our last holiday though.

Marilyn, you've been doing such a great job with your hooping, before you know it, none of your clothes will fit! I was doing so well with my workouts too, until I got sick, but plan on starting back up again tomorrow. I was going to go to the gym today after work, but wound up sick all night (was up from 11pm until 6am), I'm assuming from something I ate. So I didn't go to work since I had been up all night and although I wasn't sick anymore, was physically exhausted. They sure can't grumble at me too much since I did work all last week when I was sick. Slept until 1pm today, so I obviously made the right decision by staying home. Feel pretty good now, just not ready to eat yet.

I'm sure glad all this is happening to me while I'm off school.

John, sounds just like Mark and his singing...his greatest wish would be to sing....unfortunately he sounds like a cat with a sore throat! Truly the worst singing I've ever heard....but boy does he love to sing, bless him!

Poor Mark! Gotta love him for trying though!

I told Molly to drop kristen (sp) an email, hopefully she will get to this before the week is out....once school is back in session, next week, we just never find a moment to get her on her email account. I have to hold her hand to log on and stuff, she isn't very techno savvy. Once she gets going I'm sure she and your daughter will chat their heads off, it's just getting her going is the hard part....

You have inspired me to download my Easter and the beach pics to see if I can my little ones to my siggie too

but...it will have to wait, I'm off for that pedicure (never got it on my bday) and then we are going to see Miss Potter with grandmom, auntie, molly and me. the boys are....you guessed it at the go-kart track for a day of practice.

Thanks you guys that is really sweet. I have not even looked at the other ones that DH has downloaded so I may change if I see a better one. This was the only day the sun was out though. Holly it is a sunset. No sunrises for my family.

Now the update!! The decided yesterday they are going to tackle West Side Story!! Godspell was so successful.....they want to try again.

Oh well, another year without a DH.....

I was in West Side Story at Theatre Winter Haven when I was a senior...I was one of the Jets girls...I had a name in the program, but for the life of me can't remember....I only had a handful of lines....I was there to dance! Funny - almost our entire cast was made up of Disney Cast members who would get off work and drive over to Winter Haven....good memories....

I suppose our Travel Channel may show some of them, but it is difficult finding out. I rather think that they won't show them.

I don't think we have decided exactly what we will do, besides a tasting at some point....I'm sure more ideas will surface through the year. Feel free to snag the logo/Tink Champagne Girl logo to add to your signature line if you want. PJ did it for us (since some of us are not so computer savvy and lots of people were getting in trouble for being over the limit on the sigs).

After a bit too much champange on one cruise, I got up and sang Happy Birthday to a stranger "Marilyn Monroe" style. I'm basically tone deaf. It was a like an episode of Saturday Night Live.

Can we expect a repeat this cruise?!

Well, we have it, but I work until 7 and the DCL one is on at 5 Of course we don't have a vcr at home anymore, so no show for me, once again. I tried to set up a vcr today before heading to work, but I failed.

Thanks for asking, and I have an update. We did Godspell. We sold out for two shows (414 each show) and the Friday night show sold 390 tickets!! So it was AWESOME!! We figured that 60% of the tickets were bought by people who went to church with us and 40% were bought by the community at large. It was so good to see so many vistors come though the doors. The show was AWESOME.....they did a great job.

That sounds so awesome! so glad it went so well, and West Side Story is one of my very favourites
