I agree about the touchpad, but I have gotten used to it (mostly).


I am getting used to it for the most part too. I just don't like when I want it to do one thing and then it does something else....


Of course, the other night I was logged into my work computer and I was highlighting test with Ctrl/Shift/arrow key and hit the Alt key instead of shift and ended up landscaping my screen sideways!!!


Now that's very funny....

Same weather here too, but a few degrees colder.....supposed to stay the same at least through Sunday. If April showers bring May flowers, what do April snow showers bring?

I have really gotten used to my Macbook trackpad. One cool thing about the new Mac trackpads is that if you use two fingers on the pad, you can scroll. That has become indispensible to me.

I accidently discovered speed scrolling on the touchpad, just a tap of one finger on a line at the bottom of the pad...cool feature!!!

Which is the most useful bit of information then?

I had a warning about my signature. I have cut quite a bit out, but how on earth do you know, if you are an ordinary person, useless and a dork at techy things, what all the pixel, and all the other techy talk means? Mine looks less than other folks now, but I guess the pictures take more thingumywhatsits. It is all very complicated. I do understand the reasons though, but a 'warning' sounds so official and harder than other words that could be used. After all you get a warning for being inflammatory, trolling, spamming, etc on the boards, and I don't think I am bad!Will have to post a post on the tech thread to see if anyone can check for me.

Anyway, it has been a lovely day here, warm and sunny. We went over the Pennines(hills that form a central spine down northern England) into Lancashire to see our son and his wife. Had a lovely meal and a natter and came back over the Pennines!!

Your guess is as good as mine. But like you, I completely understand the reason......I just remove something whenever I'm told and hope it's good.

I decided one ticker at a time is good enough for me. I can just look at other peoples' tickers on here. The Ship of Thieves logo will suffice for now. It's such a great logo, I'd rather have that than a ticker....for sure!

Dont feel bad, I tell you my funny tooth loss story that just happen last week.. We had just started our Magical vacation in Disneyland. On the second day there we entered that park, I decided to have a breakfast bar, as I took a bite I paused and realized my bridge just snaped on my upper front teeth. I was not going to let the loss of my teeth spoil my trip. I knew there wasnt anything I could do until I returned home. Needless to say I sounded a little like daffy duck but with out the spit. Thank goodness I work in a Dental office..

Oh, no. Yes, you are lucky to work in a dental office. Glad you didn't let it ruin your trip. DS got his teeth all fixed and they looked beautiful...for a week. Then he tried to use his teeth to open a box and popped one of the new fillings right off. We've been back to fix it twice. He keeps shearing off a tiny bit of one of the fillings because of his fingernail chewing habit. So we are heading to the dentist today. We're not fixing it, just polishing up the spot where he sheared off a sliver. No one notices the little chip there, just his momma. The dentist has been really great about it. He really wants to hold off on doing crowns until DS is 16, so we're just doing the best we can for now. BTW, the dentist told me that chewing your fingernails is the worst thing for your teeth, or more specifically, for any dental work you've had done.
