Have a look here.

I haven't tried hooping sitting down yet though!!:rotfl:

That looks great. Might mention it the my gym and see if we can bring that in as well. We are expanding to do more dance classes but this seems to fit in making things different. I saw one of these about 3 years ago, but never did anything with it. Now maybe I should start.

Having never been to WDW, I'm following your trip with interest, John (along with the comments of others). It sounds so vast! And quite a choice in restaurants and hotels... I guess DL is very compact compared to it.

If anyone is interesested, this link leads to an article that talks about future expansion at DL. The writer seems to be well-connected, as his information usually proves to be accurate on down the road. One thing that is intriguing to me is the idea of the pricy "boutique" park.

WDW is much different from DL. I have only been to DL once (maybe some others that have done both often could comment). While at DL, I still felt like I was in a city and could go to the parks. WDW to me is more of destination. Once you enter the WDW area, you are surrounded by Mickey and the "real" world is no where to be seen. Even though we live in WA, we go to WDW all the time (1.because we own DVC and as of right now DVC doesn't exist at DL 2. becuse the weather is usually better 3. plane tickets are about the same to LA and MCO and 4. it feels more like an escape from reality with so many more options...you could spend days just going through all of the different resorts). Those are just my opinions on the difference. Doesn't WDW cover the same amount of area as Maryland or something like that? Anyone remember that fact?

Kaylee-so what did you think of that episode? I kinda think the ending was creepy. They just went off on a tangent that they didn't need to do and it offered nothing to the existing story line. In fact it was like a whole new story. Crazy...but I still can't stop watching!

Scott and I said the same thing....why put in more questions with a tangent. Next weeks episode looks great through! I will keep watching and the show will probably end before we get any answers.

There's apparently a website called "vote for the worst" or something along those lines, which encourages people to actually vote for the worst person...can you believe that? So that's why Sanjai is still there.

I haven't watched this season, but I did hear that about Sanjai (who is from my area by the way, should I be proud :lmao: )

Evening Kaylee! It's a quiet night tonight. :confused3 Hope nobody else is poorly and hope those that are, Karen and Deb, are feeling better. Have a good evening all. Goodnight.

Evening....just catching up before starting my afternoon of work. Have a great night!

Marilyn:
Tell me a bit more about Hooping...how long are the classes? Is that all you do in the class or is it part of an interval type workout (some step, some weights etc)? I am teaching some classes at my gym now (lectures not the aerobics ones) and am wanting to bring in something new in terms of a class. Maybe you could PM me with some information so we don't bore everyone else here with hooping discussions! :lmao: Thanks so much! (and thanks for the link, now I want to run out and buy one!).

Our least favorite port was Cozumel. Maybe because it was so crowded. There were a total of 6 cruise ships in port on the day we were there. The water was beautiful and the people were nice. We aren't big drinkers, but if you are right of the pier is a Senor Frogs and a Carlos & Charlies. There is a great sort of mall, that is well developed next to these establishments. We had fun shopping! We had also heard wonderful things about Paradise Beach so we headed out. It was quite a hike in a taxi and I believe we ended up paying $30 roundtrip for the four of us. Once at Paradise Beach, they have lovely grounds and it is designed well. It was $9 a person to use the facilities, which included beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, and floating stuff (can't think of the correct name - brain freeze). It was fun, but small and crowded. The water of the beach was cloudy and the footing underneath found what felt like cement blocks and lot's of large rocks. We stayed a couple hours and headed back. When we go back in October on our next Disney cruise we will try something different.

Kaylee's right...WDW is more of a destination. With California Aventure and Downtown Disney, DL is becoming a little bit more like WDW, but they have along way to do. Even DL and the MK are different....I was shocked at how big MK felt. At DL everything is "compact" by comparision...don't have to walk far to get to one end of the park or the other. I remember looking for the castle when we first walked in the MK and I was shocked how "far away" it looked by comparision of DL. We, obviously, go to DL a lot because of our proximity and have only been to WDW in 2004. We really enjoyed it but felt we needed more time than the almost week we were there. It really is more of a destination than DL is.

Nope, not a thing to be proud of with him. He's very sweet looking, always smiling, but he cannot sing in comparision to the others who've been voted off. I would think the animousity would begin to grow towards him from the other contestants because he's basically taking their spots and they deserve to stay by comparision! It's really ashame!

Gouodux: Once again, GREAT pics! I love how wide your verandah was. Nice!

gouodux - great pics!

I agree....thanks for sharing.

Oba kayba.....plebase dobn't cobonfubuse meba.

I'm really OK.....I swear I am! :rotfl2:

Holly...there you go again, quoting yourself!:lmao:

Well everyone, have a great weekend. I am seeing my last patient and then heading to the mountains for a weekend of skiing (why when it is finally warm and sunny here to we decide to head to the snow! :confused3 ). I am pretty sure we won't have internet, so I will struggle to catch up on Sunday night. Hope Grey's anatomy is a good one tonight and I will catch it on abc.com next week. Have a great weekend. John enjoy the rest of your vacation.

Have a GREAT time Kaylee! :thumbsup2

Not much action on here tonight. Headed out for a beer with a buddy. Will catch up later. I'm sure John will have more cute Sophia pics later! :thumbsup2

The only thing with Disneyland is you are not locked into eating at their places because you can walk right across the street. At WDW you have a lot more options though. I loved WDW and can't wait till we can go back.

I agree with this also.:rotfl:
