You lucky duck!!!!:cheer2:
When did you pay off your cruise? We just paid off today, so we proabaly won't get it for awhile.

Hi Cork - hope you're staying warm in MD - my sister told me it was cold (brrrr) up there today.

I don't think the cruise info pkg has anything to do w/ being paid in full. I've been paid off for a while now and I didn't get anything. I think it has to do w/ how far out we are now.

The skycaps weigh the bags at SNA (john wayne) and LAX. We almost had to pay once but I think I looked so pitiful the guy said..."well let it go through this time".

I've been the person at the check-in counter moving things from one bag to another to balance out the weigth. (One bag was at 45 lbs and the other at 52 - they were going to charge the $25)

We bought a new suitcase for the trip home as I knew I would never get them that close again.

re: :laundy: while on board....at this moment I'm right next door to the laundry room (not sure if that's a good or bad thing)...of course I will GLADLY give that up if DCL wants to upgrade me :lmao:

Of course you know this means that now I have to stalk the mailperson until I get mine!

everyone I have resorted to reading the thread while I am at my weekly bowling league. I am on my touch and the alley has free wireless. Thank gosh. I will do any add-one to the site when I get home. Jackie I will fix the dark logo at the same time.

P.j.

If they had Wi-Fi at the dance studio, I would carry my laptop with me there . . . instead I got to listen to . . . yes, more issues with bussing today.

Amy got some interesting news today at work . . . they may send her out to their call center in the Philippines.

If she goes, it is two 18 day rotations with 18 days at home in between. If she goes on the first one, she will leave as early as the first week of February. If she goes on the second one, she gets home from the second rotation April 23!:scared1:

Do ya think that's cutting it a bit close?

She has not traveled for awhile, I don't think since Alex was young. I will have to learn the single parent thing all over again! I told her I will take the first week she is gone for vacation so that I can get the routine going.

She finds out for sure later this week.

I'm watching the Discovery Health network right now....a show on a woman who is carrying sextuplets....amazing.

WOW! That's BIG news! Here's hoping that the answer she gets is what you guys want.

has anyone one used an over door hamper thing? I am just wondering where all these dirty clothes are gonna go!

We use a plastic bag on the floor of the closet and when it gets too full we move it to the suitcases under the bed and start a new bag. Sort of feels like I'm packing as we go so I don't have to do it all the last night.

Woody I am on the look out for one of those pop-up hampers, if not I will borrow my moms for the trip, it is smaller then mine.

Wow John, what a change that will be! Sounds like a great opportunity. Is Amy excited about the possibility (are you Amy?)?

I just started getting DIS emails about an hour ago...maybe they got everything fixed.

Tell them it's paid in full... even if you have to LIE!!! We'll forgive you...

Boy, am I having a fun day - NOT.

Since our levy did not pass, we cut bussing to state minimums for the second semester. Laid off 17 bus drivers, and all children within two miles of the school do not get bussing. This saves us $300,000 and keeps the money in the classroom.

Well, big snowstorm on the first day of this. So a bad situation became worse, and I have parents calling me at work today to complain. Probably the same parents who did not vote for the levy the last time.

I need to find a better hobby . . .

John... We never had busses... always walked, etc because we all lived within the 2 miles... and I got great calves from walking those 2 miles in heels in high school!!!

mine is nothing compared to yours - I am dealing with diva behavior, tantrums, etc but some days I feel like I could run away from it all! (I know bad mom!)

deck 4 soudns great! Mayeb we all can just take it over!:thumbsup2

Oh....wait until puberty... you think you drink now...

we are going to try an limit the bags, but I am not good at light packing.....

V....you already started packing... :sad2:

I'm a little concerned about you two.;) ;)

First the mouth to stem remark and now this.

What can I say?

Dennis and I are like brothers . . . he's my big brother of course . . .

A pop-up hamper is not essential, but is handy for collecting dirty laundry and carrying it to the laundry room.

Not as close as us - my hubby is coming in from Iraq either in Orlando the day before the cruise or at home the day before we get on the plane to go to Orlando - still working on the exact dates for everything.
