When did you pay off your cruise? We just paid off today, so we proabaly won't get it for awhile.

I don't think being paid in full matters for this. Several months ago I got this for the dummy date we had set up for our next cruise. Not paid in full. It was a good reminder for me to move that date out again before final payment was due.

Hi Cork - hope you're staying warm in MD - my sister told me it was cold (brrrr) up there today.

I don't think the cruise info pkg has anything to do w/ being paid in full. I've been paid off for a while now and I didn't get anything. I think it has to do w/ how far out we are now.

We hit a high of 41 today. WooHoo. The last couple of night it was in the teens when I got off from work at 11:30pm. Scrub pants have no warmth.

Amy is both excited, and scared. She was almost sent to India about a year ago, and they cancelled it at the last minute. GE sends a lot of people around with all the business centers they have.

Me, I want her to do what she wants to do - do I like her being away? Heck no, but we will survive - I've done it before. My only fear is that I may enter into early contract negotiations while she is gone. That would be a nightmare, as I would be an hour away most days, for all day and sometimes into the night. Not fair or good for Sophia.

My boss just got back from a week in Orlando and gave me this tip on luggage weight limits. He said print your boarding pass at home,(if you are able) and then when you get to the airport check your bags with the skycap. Don't go to the check in counter if you don't have to. He said it's like $3 buck per bag to do this and they don't weight you luggage. When they got home one of theirs had a sticker that said "heavy" and that the weight was 70lb. But they did not have to pay extra for being over the limit. If you do this flying home (which we are not) try to do the check in at a Kiosk instead of the counter if possible.

And if DCL is going to offer onboard check in and take our luggage from outside our rooms directly to the airport on debarkation day, how will the airlines be able to charge us for a heavy suitcase?

I understand the new Time Capsule thing - great idea. But how about those of us who have an AE with a hard disk connected to it now via airdisk. Any news on if Apple is going to allow you to back up via Time Machine to such a disk in the future? Not supported now, and many were disappointed when it was not originally.

Whenever the Union guys make up their minds what they want to do. The contract does not expire until September (that is why we are on the WB and not the EB - thank goodness) and then I heard rumblings they may want to negotiate early.

That is how my luck runs.

Thanks for the offer Monica, I'm sure Sophia would not mind coming down to Orlando! Good job on the bike too. I have done 20 minutes on the machine every day since Sunday when I put it together. Once I start I get pretty fanatical until something derails me.

My dad took a hypnotic course to stop smoking and he just made a year last week. The great thing is that he doesn´t want cigarettes anymore, so he doesn´t feel like he is sacrificing himself by not smoking.

I did the hypnosis thing with a friend, he quit, I went outside and lit up! My sis did acupuncture. I used the patches and counseling. Different things work for different folks and it is hard to tell which one will work for you. Bad stuff!

Yes he is!! I was talking with my sis and she was going to do something silly for me that would be a sacrafice for her and I told her nope, I am taken care of in every possible way! Spiritually, mentally, physically. He is a good guy.



OMG you weren´t the only one that read TIRE. I did too and thought that since they would probably drive to the port, she didn´t want to get a flat tire on the road and not have a spare.

Hi all, Here is what I sent to PJ

Here is the info from Ken, I put the prices in red. The 1/2 inch size lanyard worked well because it didn't itch or make you sweat in the heat. the vertical badge holder is good because it molds to your body better than than the width of the other models. This one held our KTTW card, group paper ID, money, credit card, and WDW passes. It held up long enough for our 35 day vacation (wearing it every day) and I still use it for DL now. They used them for the 11 night cruise, so they had worked out all the bugs for us on the med. Also, he made 2 copies of ID's for each person because people got caught in the rain, laundry, pools, water rides and got the ID's wet. Smart thinking! Kelly
