alright, has anyone else gotten the cruise info packet yet? you know, the one with the pamphlet listing all ofthe excurscions and such? we just got ours today and I'm soooo excited now

If they had Wi-Fi at the dance studio, I would carry my laptop with me there . . . instead I got to listen to . . . yes, more issues with bussing today.

Amy got some interesting news today at work . . . they may send her out to their call center in the Philippines.

If she goes, it is two 18 day rotations with 18 days at home in between. If she goes on the first one, she will leave as early as the first week of February. If she goes on the second one, she gets home from the second rotation April 23!

Do ya think that's cutting it a bit close?

She has not traveled for awhile, I don't think since Alex was young. I will have to learn the single parent thing all over again! I told her I will take the first week she is gone for vacation so that I can get the routine going.

She finds out for sure later this week.

I've been the person at the check-in counter moving things from one bag to another to balance out the weigth. (One bag was at 45 lbs and the other at 52 - they were going to charge the $25)

We bought a new suitcase for the trip home as I knew I would never get them that close again.

There was a whole group of folks from Germany doing that at Orlando in Dec. We were people watching while we were waiting for the 30 min to pass so we would hit the 4 hour mark and be able to check our luggage.

We can gather data on the lanyards and then group vote on what to order.

If you wish to help offset the cost please let me know that too. I think it would be too hard to collect from everyone indivdualy.

I think it would be great to send these off before we cruise, but it would be a big under taking. I'll coordinate if I get some people to help with the work.

Ok, teared up a lot during the movie. With the way things are going I can easily see how this happens. Makes this trip seem so frivilous.

We use a plastic bag on the floor of the closet and when it gets too full we move it to the suitcases under the bed and start a new bag. Sort of feels like I'm packing as we go so I don't have to do it all the last night.

This is what we do too. I will have to do this time though, so the bag will go in the suitcase second time around!

Amy is both excited, and scared. She was almost sent to India about a year ago, and they cancelled it at the last minute. GE sends a lot of people around with all the business centers they have.

Me, I want her to do what she wants to do - do I like her being away? Heck no, but we will survive - I've done it before. My only fear is that I may enter into early contract negotiations while she is gone. That would be a nightmare, as I would be an hour away most days, for all day and sometimes into the night. Not fair or good for Sophia.

Tell Amy if she ever gets sent up to Schenectady (birthplace of GE...) she can come stay here!!! I live down the street, sort of from it all and I've got some good places to go and see if she's here...

Yes, but I with our house for sale, I was just hoping to last until we move. That way we would not need to move a washer and dryer! I think I will just see about a repair. I think it is the clutch, it doesn't spin.

We hit a high of 41 today. WooHoo. The last couple of night it was in the teens when I got off from work at 11:30pm. Scrub pants have no warmth.

We have been in the teens the last two nights also. I have wished the past 2 mornings that I had those nice seat heaters! Woo THAT'S COLD!!

It was good, I watched it. Ben Affleck said he used a hypnotist to quit and he smoked for 20 years!! I hope you're able to find it, it was good and it will encourage you I think!
