I am an Ebay addict....

my wonderful sewer who has done countless custom bows, flip flops and dresses for this trip is moving overseas!! I am not sure if she is going to continue while she is there.

If anyone is interested in pillowcase dresses and bows she does a great job. She has Hannah fabric, potc and even ariel, minnie dot, etc.

Could you PM the sellers id, or post it if she does not mind.
Thanks! I too have an ebay habit.

. . . My MIL will probably go to Acapulco on the day that we stop there and I am seriously considering switching dirty laundry for clean clothes, but somehow I think people will look funny at us if we disembark with a couple of suitcases in Acapulco, but this might be better than doing laundry
Julie -- I don't think anyone will notice. When we reached various ports on the 2005 PC cruise, performers would get on and off. They would board, perform for one or two nights, then disembark at the next port -- with dirty laundry. Only people like Ducky Williams stayed onboard for the entire cruise.

If my MIL would bring us clean clothes, I'd take up the offer. Sure beats doing laundry.

One more thing, Angie reminded me of it, and I have to post it on our old thread. Amy made dinner tonight - recipe she got from the cooking class she went to . . . guess what?

Chicken Pot Pie.

And yes, for all you who would ask the question . . . it DID have a crust!

Peace, Out.

OK, all you HYATT MCO PEOPLE where are WE having dinner the night before the cruise?

I don't even remember what's available in the airport and has anyone eaten at the Hyatt's restaurant?

I get in 5PMish, I think, and will wait several hours for more folks to show up.

So, suggestions??? :confused3

No suggestions, but we get in about 4:30. Well, the boys and I anyway. Looks like DH will be working in Miami and will drive up that evening/night sometime. He probably won't make dinner, but the rest of us could. It would be nice to meet a few folks the night before as we can't make any DIS meets being stuck here in Iowa.

We are staying at the Hyatt MCO and we get in right after 4pm. So if something ends up being set up please post it on here. We would like to try and meet up.

I think I'd best be starting a list.....

When I tried it, I was taken to the last post on the thread, not the last post I had read. Did I do something wrong? (Glad I had left the thread open in another window. You guys were CHATTY this afternoon.)

Jan :earsgirl:

OK...sometimes, if you get on the DIS and don't visit a thread that has had activity (like say you just wanted to check this thread and none of the others you are subscribed to) the DIS will assume YOU DID visit/view all of them. So the next time you sign on, the system believes you've viewed everything......or something likes that. OK...this just blew my proud teckie moment of a mere hour ago.

Oh come on - someone rent an entire house with a gormet kitchen....each family bring one bag of groceries and I can promise I will scare the hunger out of all of you!!!!!:lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Just wondering who I can bribe for a copy of it...

Maybe I'll post on the main DCL board...

There's a party planning thread....you can ask there. But Cheri and V and whoever else on our cruise who has a party should all get it.

count us out of DCL busses!!

We also opted for cabs towards the end of our trip at WDW. More $$$ yes, but those buses can be the adventure in themselves sometimes. For evenings out a cab was our call.

I know ---- and I know a lot of people hate it, and hate trying to keep up but I love it! Hope Tyler is doing well Holly, how is school going - must be ok right?
My school or Tyler's school? Mine: well, I couldn't go this semester. Couldn't come up with all those thousands for this term. I'm finding lots of scholarships to apply for, but you have to be enrolled to apply and I'm not enrolled this term. And without the scholarship, I can't afford to enroll. Evil circle, but I'll figure it out. Tyler's school: well, he can't read or write and I suspect he'll have to repeat K. Even if we got him on meds or the natural remedies I checked out, I doubt he'd magically catch up instantly. If he does have to repeat, I hope his dad doesn't use that as an excuse to switch school systems (he insists he's pulling him out and sending him to a different school) because it seems it would make more sense to leave him where he is, in the school where everybody is working with him and knows what's going on with him.

OK....NOW I'm really going to bed! My alarm goes off at 6:45am.

OK, I was confused, or was I?

I was wondering what V meant with the Disney busses . . .

Did you mean Disney transportation and not DCL V?

Now really going to bed!

:rolleyes1 Running Bear, loved Little White Dove
With a love as big as the sky
Running Bear, loved Little White Dove
With a love that's wouldn't die.....

'come on....somebody should remember that one.

Running Bear jumped into the water.
Little White Dove did the same.
As they swam out to each other through the swirling water they came.
As their hands touched and their lips met, the swirling water pulled them down
Now they'll always be together in that happy hunting ground.

Gosh that is scary that after so many years...too many to remember...I can instantly remember that song...that's what 12 years of GS camp will do to you. :)

is reading and writing a requirement of K? I kind of wish our local schools would list requirements.

Samantha can write and spell her name, haley's, mine and John's (along with Mom and Dad) we work on phonics alot - she does not know how to scale her name down to size....it starts small and goes HUGE. Haley can tell you all the first letters of everyone in her class. She is no where near where Samantha was at that age. But everyone is different and she is the social one and the helper of her class. All the kids and teachers love her to death. Not funny - but funny, there are quite a few older than her working on potty training. I guess if they go and make it to the potty Haley is standing outside the door yelling "X, went whatever --- clap everyone!":rotfl:

Is there a group forming for zip lining in Puerto Vallarta? My DH and I are planning on doing this. I was looking at how much less expensive it is to do it as a tour instead of though the ship. Maybe we can get an even better rate as a group. Anyone interested?

Oh my gosh! The kid is insane! I went to make sure Tyler was covered up, and saw a bare leg. Now, I knew he went to sleep with a one-piece zippered blanket pajama, so I climbed up his ladder to see what was up. He's lying ON TOP of all his covers IN HIS UNDERWEAR, no pjs in sight! In Arizona that would probably be OK, but this is MICHIGAN! I'm wearing 2 pairs of socks and pajamas, bathrobe, and under a blanket and still chilly. Granted, he has a loft bed, so he's up higher and it's warmer up there, but not THAT much! :rotfl: Nutty kid. Probably took pjs off in his sleep and will wake up freezing and wondering what the heck happened. :rotfl2:

:guilty:

I know, but if they are breaking up late then they wyll break up early as well!

Hey, V...do you know for sure that they are breaking up late dining? From everything else I have seen they haven't done the different times on the repo cruises. :confused3

OK Lisa, I had to find all the lyric...there were some gaps in my memory:

On the banks of the river stood Running Bear and Indian braves.
On the other side of the river stood his lovely Indian maid.
Little White dove was her name, such a lovely sight to see.
But their tribes fought with each other, so their love could never be.
Running bear loved Little White Dove with a love big as the sky.
Running bear loved Little White Dove with a love that couldn't die.
He couldn't swim the raging river, 'cause the river was too wide.
He couldn't reach little White dove waitin' on the other side.
In the moonlight he could see her throwing kisses across the waves.
Her little heart was beating faster, waiting there for her brave.
Running Bear loved Little White Dove...
Running Bear went in the water, Little White Dove did the same.
And they swam up to each other, through the swirling stream they came.
As their hands touched and their lips met, the raging river pulled them
down.
Now they'll always be together, in that happy hunting ground.
Running Bear loved Little White Dove...

Although....I think that first line is Running Bear AN INDIAN BRAVE

nothing new here - everyone in the family has to have some portion uncovered....I would imagine it would be the same in the snow - this AM ---the girls were frozen but still had to have feet out with no SOCKS ON!

someone posted on our thread today that they called DCL today and they were staggering times....kind of bummed to hear about that!

The teacher told me K today is about what 1st or 2nd grade was for us. To pass, they have to write a paragraph story, be able to read a simple book, add & subtract, and much more. They have science class and computer class, and lots more. They do a writing workshop a few times a week where they have to write a sentence or two and draw the pictures to go with it. He can't even write all his letters yet. He knows them, but that's all. BUT today he did bring me a paper on which he had written the word "NO" and told me he was going to tape it to his bedroom door so people would stay out! :lmao: Well, that's a start! :rotfl2:
Oh...and of course, he can write his name and Mom, but nobody else's name and no other words.
