I have some sad news.....our friends Lucy and Bob and Lisa/LiserAnn's good friends, had to cancel this cruise. I'm so saddend that they're not coming. They are such nice and funny and good people. They will surely be missed. So if any of you have them on any of your lists, please cancel.

Confession time:
I was so envious of the first panama canal and the first med cruise as they both had joey fatone on the ship for entertainment. I have been a fan of his for over 10 years. And while he is way to young and no brad pitt. He's my type of guy! I'd love to have him be the entertainment for this trip! It would make my day to have a picture with him! Sad to admit how many nsync concerts I went to....I'm pathetic I know!

ha
Steph

HE was in ST PETE Tonight!! Sis said he was on the front row for the entire show but they kept talking to him and finally drug him on stage!!

Bear>???

Ok, spill it!

Well V, I wish it was a really interesting story, but it is kind of boring . . .

You know I have worked in the grocery business since I was in High School. A lot of my college buddies worked with me there after I graduated. We worked with a lot of older guys on the night stocking crew.

Well, I really loved to work fast. It made the night go quicker, and I always wanted to get home and to bed so I could get up for school the next morning. I used to "run" the stock out on the floor. I also used to be an avid runner when in college, running 7 miles a day in my prime. The old guys used to make fun of me, and because I have a kind of dark complexion one of them christened me "running bear" - who knows where that came from - kind of like an Indian name.

Later, my buddies picked up on it, and just shortened it to "Bear" and so it stuck with me for several years. Even had it on the back of my softball jersey for the team. On the back of the car when we got married, the sign read "Just Married, Amy and the "Bear".

Now I just resemble one - not as much running left in me!

Does anyone on here geocache?

Have any of you that know what I am talking about, done it on a cruise (in the ports that is)?

Just curious how well it worked on excursions and the like as I see there are a few around the ports we will be at and I might be able to fit a few in with the excursions.

thnx a bunch

We like to geocache. DH lost the GPS unit, however. :headache: It fell overboard while he was sailing. Anywhoo, we'll probably have a new one by then. I haven't researched geocache sites for the cruise yet. I know there are several on Castaway Cay however.

Regarding where to eat at DTD.....you could do Wolfgang Puck's and sit outside....you could put some tables together and have privacy and a good conversation environment.....just a thought.

Now that's not a bad idea Deb. And I like their food. I wonder how busy it would be? If we hit it right - before a busy time, it could work great. Any other ideas? Ghiardelli's (SP?) would be great too, but not as much seating as Wolfgang.

WHAT?!?! Oh no, that's such a bummer. I can't believe it....I'll have to PM her.

LOVE IT!! You and John really have a lot in common....but let me ask you, did you like running?

so does this feel close to anyone besides me - or is it just because I am packing?

I hope to have all the essentials in my cruise box - including a SPARE TIE!

I'm pretty sure that's where we're staying, but won't arrive until 8ish I think...would love to meet for dinner if anyone else comes in that late...:confused3

OK, all you HYATT MCO PEOPLE where are WE having dinner the night before the cruise?

I don't even remember what's available in the airport and has anyone eaten at the Hyatt's restaurant?

I get in 5PMish, I think, and will wait several hours for more folks to show up.

So, suggestions??? :confused3

We are staying at the Hyatt MCO and we get in right after 4pm. So if something ends up being set up please post it on here. We would like to try and meet up.

There's a group of us having dinner at Grill's the night before the cruise if you would like to join us. Everyone is all over in the excursions. Some are just beaching it, some are zip-lining, and in Aruba there is a large group renting jeeps. Right now the lanyards are in the planning stages but the tags are designed. You can print your own tag off at anytime from the shipofthieves site. I have most my door signs done but am still waiting for room assignment. We will be staying 4 nights after at the DL hotel.

I forgot about my door signs. DS10 will want to help with that. I guess we better get started. We also need to decorate our fish extender.

it does seem right around the corner, so close that now I'm dreaming about it:scared1: I spent all last night packing in my dreams:rotfl2:

Hi Stacey......Grills Seafood Deck and Tiki Bar is an indoor/outdoor casual beach type restaurant. It's right on the water front where the cruise ships go in and out. It's great for kids too. They have typical seafood and american cousine. We're going with a party of about 20 DISers including kids on the 9th at 5:30pm. Want to join us?

Sorry for jumping in, but we will also be staying at the Raddison on the 9th. Do You have room for 2 more adults and two kids for dinner @ Grills? Would love to have a chance to meet everyone before the cruise.
