Hi all! OK, We’ve got about 30 people interested in coming, but some are limited on their availability, so I came up with two separate Dismeets. . .
4/19/08 Saturday, Dinner, Naples Restaurant at 4:00 pm on the patio.

We hope to go to the April 19 DISmeet, and will know for certain later today.

Count us in for the April 19 DISmeet. There will be two of us. Looking forward to meeting fellow cruisers.

Woody

not sure who has little ones are still reading but most all the Baby Gap's around here are closing. Many of my co=workers went this weekend and everythign was 75% off.

So for all of you staying on deck 2...is it bumpy? I've never stayed below deck 6 on any cruise ship. I have a gty 10 and those rooms are all over the ship, but mostly on deck2. Any advise?

We love Deck 2...not bumpy...but you can hear the anchor when you dock. I liked that cause I always want to get up early on those days!!:goodvibes :goodvibes

Am I the only one that may be able to go on Sunday, 3/16/08?:confused3 I need to run it by my DH when he gets home from work but that week and some extra days are my DK spring break so we may actually be able to go. I really didn't want to go to DL prior to the cruise vacation so maybe we'll go to Universal and/or Legoland(their days are numbered there....I'm waiting for them to tell me they don't want to go there anymore) and of course the beach we don't have that here in the desert so its still a novelty for my kids:rotfl:

That is the date we picked - though we may end up going to both.

ok finally found the picture of the lanyards we had on the December cruise

I know...our friends were shocked when they got into the cabins. I think it's misleading of DCL that they don't disclose that...some folks may not care, but for a family of 4, that's a critical piece of storage, especially for 2 weeks. I might send DCL a note about it, not that I'm personally expecting anything but I think when those cabins are assigned, they should mention it somewhere that it doesn't have the standard cabin/storage configuration so that those staying in the cabin have the appropriate expectation!

I would write them....maybe that would put you in line for an upgrade?? Coundn't hurt, as I see it.

Nan - what size is Molly - I pretty much scour what I would like and then email and ask for a discount on two. etc.....

also - the name thing, I wanted to be called Kelly in the fifth grade. That was my babysitter's name and she was just so cool!

She is wearing juniors in some stuff, size 3 jeans from Target. But didn't fit in any of the Old Navy Jeans kids 14-16 or juniors size 0.

I think we need to hit the Gap and see what she is wearing there.

She is wearing my Levi 501's from high school. I saved a pair. Sad on so many levels..mostly that I'll never be skinny like that again :sad2:

Funny how the grass is always greener even someone's name.

Thanks for this Krisann.....now, do we order them individually or are we going to do a group order? It makes sense to order individually if we're printing from the website.....then everyone can do their own. Or is it less expensive if we bulk order? Whatever everyone decides is good for me, just let us know. Thanks.

That is exactly right! Many people do not understand why we do some of the little things we do now that we homeschool, but it works for us and what works for others doesn't work for us - but everyone needs to do what works for them!

One of my DH's High School Girlfriend's, is a lot liek your family. She did do this show (home school and all). My girls got such a kick out of knowing their daddy used to date the "lady on the show".

off to din din...

Baked Chicken, baked potatoes, green beans almondine homemade (by Molly) lemon bars for dessert.:goodvibes

see ya later.

well hopefully they are bedazzled skivves!!!!!:lmao:
Well, if not, maybe Sophia will have had lots of practice by the time of the cruise and might be up for the job! John? Give her some more of your boxers to practice on, would ya?! :rotfl2:

And for the MCO folks I was just told by my Bosses wife that there is an Outback at the airport too. They ate there before they flew home Saturday from a dealer meeting and she said it was really good. So it might be one more option.

We ate at the Outback last time but I'm pretty sure it was past security so unless you have a boarding pass for an airline in that terminal you wouldn't all be able to meet there. Unless there's more than one?

oh do tell, who who who....

So Cal meets added to the Repo Cruise Calendar \/ look down for the link.

Kelly,

My parents are also from the farms in OK. My Mom came out when she was 6...1933. My Dad's Mom (Grandma) came away from the farm of 8 girls, before my father was born. Good old Oakie stock here. My parents grew up in Pasadena, moved to San Jose in 1958.

I'm a native of San Jose, California. We live in the house I grew up in. We bought it from my parents in '98. I've watched California grow into the state it is. Not so great from many views, but also a hard place to leave when you are entrenched with real estate, jobs and school for the kids. Northern Cal is so different from Southern Cal in my minds eye.

That is a neat thing about Cal. so many people who came there were pioneers, and people who left their homes for a better life. That is admirable.

I have some sad news.....our friends Lucy and Bob and Lisa/LiserAnn's good friends, had to cancel this cruise. I'm so saddend that they're not coming. They are such nice and funny and good people. They will surely be missed. So if any of you have them on any of your lists, please cancel.
