:rotfl2: When will you men ever learn? You'll never win against a bunch of women! :lmao:

Never ever and you are so outnumbered on this thread!!!:lmao:

When I was young, I wished for the attention of the girls, and never got it . . . just goes to show you, watch what you wish for!

That's so good!!!!

Sometimes writing on these sites, emails, that kind of thing it is difficult to express things properly because there are no clues in the voice, face or mannerisms. I know on some forums people get offended so easily, and of course I worry about the US/UK differences in speech and sayings.

Although of course it was me who got into trouble that time!!:lmao:

Of course, humor is the most dangerous. I have gotten myself in trouble over that one more than once - here included!

Me too V. Like this time last year - only much better of course as now it is only a little over 3 months to go!:dance3:

I haven't started training yet!

By the way with Karen not being able to ship the Champagne etc how do you think we will manage this?

Those who are going early can ship to themselves at the resort and carry it onboard.

holly I'll be glad to babysit for an hour here and there if you need to escape. heck I'll even stay in your room after you put him to bed so you can enjoy some adult libations!
 I think you've lost your mind! You need to be doing that adult activity yourself! :rotfl2: But thanks for the offer!

Actually, I just remembered....my Florida friends cruising with us (if they're still coming) mentioned trading off keeping both kids (their daughter and Tyler) a couple times. So that's an option for me too, if they don't cancel the cruise. :thumbsup2

Might be like poking an alligator. :scared1: When my kids were little and sleeping I would be very careful about waking them! ;)
:lmao: That's exactly how it is! I'm happy to let him sleep as long as he needs to! I probably shouldn't though....because after being able to have a nap (and a very long one) Sat, Sun, and today, going back to school tomorrow will be very difficult! I guarantee he'll be grumpy there after lunch and will fall asleep in the car on the way home.

I have had a thoroughly delightful morning being amused by all of you. John has the day off too and we're sitting laptop to laptop across from each other reading and commenting. How much fun this is.....I can't wait to meet you all and do it in person. This is going to be a cruise of a lifetime, one to always remember!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

And Tyler's Florida friend my encourage him to spend a bit of time in the club also. One of our DGS enjoyed the organized activities, one of them enjoyed the free time. :confused3 Just let him figure out what he enjoys there and then check his navigator.

That's called lurking Deb!!:rotfl:

Off to make the bed, sweep the floors, vacuum the couches, turn on the dishwasher, stash the mail and magazines, and put the laundry away. I so hope this house sells quickly so I can get back to my slovenly ways! :headache: No one to look at it this weekend.

Lisa we're going to San Diego after the crusie. Have any hints on where to stay or what to do on Sunday? Monday is for Sea world!! Thanks

Can't really help too much on the hotel - though the Doubletree has an indoor pool and hotel circle is a good location as it's not too far from anything.

I would suggest either the zoo or go to one of the museums in Balboa Park (also where the zoo is located).

Or if your family is interested in naval ships the USS Midway is available for tours and is located pretty close to downtown.

We will be spending that day doing laundry and sucking up to the cats for leaving them for 17 days (they have a pet-sitter who caters to their whims but it is not enough....)

I think having a buddy helps..imagine being 5 and walking into a room full of kids you don't know. can be kind of scary!

Unfortunately, she's older and will be in the lab. I suspect they might want to spend time together outside the club, but that's fine too because I love their whole family too, so it works! :goodvibes

I will definitely point out to him things on the navigator that he did last time and would probably remember and would want to do again because he enjoyed them last time. This time we know he wants to do the chocolate chip cookie making. And he wants to try the dinosaur dig (or is it whale bone dig?) at CC, as long as it's not too hot for him. We've never lasted more than 45 minutes on CC because he doesn't cope well at all with heat. Oh my gosh, you should have seen him when we went to Sea World when we were visiting our FL friends. He was excited and happy the whole car ride there because he remembered all his favorite things from last time that he wanted to see again. But about 30 seconds after getting out of the air conditioned car into the heat, he started whining and whined and cried the whole time at Sea World. Once back in the A/C, he was a happy kid again. Exact same result at CC and other ports.

Some people would say cruising is not the best choice for a kid like that, but he loves the actual cruise part of it so much, that's why we keep doing it! :thumbsup2 AND WE BOTH CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

John is doing a test print and iron on of the Lifeboat Crew tee shirt. I'm excited to see how it comes out.

Marilyn, Gydell, Nan, Kathe and Jackie.....please PM me your home addresses and I have a surprise to mail to you soon!!!

As far as I know you can put whatever amount you want into an onboard account before the cruise. Last cruise I think we put $1500. Although I think prepaying tips is different than prepaying an onboard account...you can do both though.

Thanks :) Might do this after we pay the cruise off so that we can have things taken care of ahead of time!
