I'm not a fan of the multi-quote, for me! I have tried it and forget what I was going to say!!!

I just right click on the Quote and open my response in a new window, write what I want, submit it and then I am still back on the page that I am reading.

To each their own!!

Karen

RIGHT click on Quote and open a new window. I didn't know you could do this. WOW I like it.....it makes it so much easier than going back to the page that I was on by hitting the back button.

Thanks Karen. Thank you for sharing. I can't multi quote either....and they're hard to reply to because you have to erase all the other responses and I'm too lazy most times.

This is good.....I like this!

Anybody watching Celebrity Apprentice?

Watching football now, but I already saw those episodes during the week of Celebrity Apprentice. I like it. I'll continue watching when it's on during the week.

Do you like it?

We've been watching at it's regular time. I think the guys currently have the celebrity advantage as I don't even recognize most of the women!

:rotfl:
No, not from Florida, I'm from the Lawrence/Kansas City area. I just don't care at all for the Pats. I wouldn't mind seeing them go down in their first playoff game!

I got a Nikon D40x for Christmas, I was saving up for it before this trip, but Santa found out and brought it early. :yay:

I bought myself the same camera! Now I just have to figure out all the settings. I'm thinking of taking a class before the cruise.

Well that is a good thing....on the other hand, we're going to miss all the season finales and my tivo is not going to record and hold 3 weeks worth, it will start erasing the older programs to make room for the newer ones. So I don't think I'm going to get to see any finale until the summer in reruns.:rotfl2:

I have a feeling except for reality shows we may have already seen this season's finales! :headache:

Wow I didn't know that - I use multi-quote cause I never remember what page I'm on. I'll have to try that. thanks!!!

Haley is asleep and aside from me floating between the couch and pc.....me, Samantha, DH and Tebow are chewing nails watching the game!

Totally how I've been doing it too!!!

I'll participate in the fish extender group. I'll just need a refresh on the rules. Put me in whereever you need me.

You have to PM Lisa/calmom so she has a record of it....if you just post it here, it will get lost in the multitude of pages and she may forget or not see it. Just PM her.

Deb, I was thinking the same.

One Time, photo happens then no matter what.

But, a 1st choice spot and a rain/wind spot, which would only apply if it was raining/way too windy (and have a person posted to re-direct people.)

So as to not miss people the shot, if taken in a rain/wind spot, would not happen until the re-direction person arrived.

Pj

I think an indoor spot, rain or shine, is probably a better idea. Then you don't have to worry about an alternative.

I like the idea of the Atrium, as there is a great picture spot on the next floor between the elevators. One of the theatres would be good as well.

As Noel would say... Just my thoughts!

Karen

Ok Lisa, lets get planning. :)

When are you heading to MCO and when are you heading back from LA?
Which airport do you like to fly out of/into, in VA?
Do you want to visit DL at the end of the cruise?
Are staying at WDW, MCO or Cocoa Beach before the cruise?
Do you need transfers, MCO to PC, Port to Airport/DL, DL to Airport?

What else can we help on, lol?

Pj

Back from the hospital. This exactly the help I need. Thank you so much!!

1. I found Thursday before the Cruise IAD (Dulles) to Orlando non stop on Jet Blue $59..don't think I can beat that. I will book that tomorrow.

2. Dulles ( or Reagan or BWI).. but I can just about walk to Dulles airport

3. I think we get to LA early Sunday (right?) ...so if I can fly out Monday morning (holiday right?) we can spend Sunday at the park. I have been there once and remember it being small. I looked at Jet Blue Southwest and Air Tran. On Jet Blue Direct flight Long Beach to IAD $169. Air Tran 1 stop LAX to IAD $149. Can we fly out our Long Beach?

4. I want to rent a car (have to be AVIS right?)....go to the parks Thursday and Friday, stay at WDW somewhere (help me) and drive to the port early Sat morning and drop off the car.......dies that make sence?

5. How will get from the ship in LA to Disneyland? to the Hotel? the to the airport on Monday morning??:confused3 :confused3

Great! Sounds like the game is being broadcast on HNiC? We Sharks fans are glad to have Drew Remenda back from his year hiatus.

I'm west of Mission about 25 miles or so. Nice to meet you!

Yep it's on HNiC - or as we like to call it out west here: HNiOntario. Let's see the double header tonight was Ottawa and Toronto... :sad2: Plus if the Laughs are playing on Saturday night it will be on HNiO.

It's tough when the "voice" of your team isn't there. My Canadian Football Team just recently changed radio broadcasters and with it a change in the "voice". It was tough getting used to but the new guy seems to be doing pretty good and now I'm getting used to him too.

I am sooooo soooo soooo jealous. In high school one of my best friends had an entire studio at her house....loved it and spent so much time there. As much as I love ballet and still love it, and although I was thin in hs, I was top heavy and not thin enough to be any sort of ballerina. I loved pointe and can recall when they advanced me to pointe class I think I slept with my shoes for a week. I did hate everyone clunking down on the wood....HATED it. It really took away from everything. To be light on your feet (and 80 lbs) is the point of ballet...and many of my hs classmates never got that.

That was my favorite though along with lyrical. But - musical theatre is really my forte. We have a GREAT arts/theatre area here in Sarasota. I hope in the future I will have the opportunity to audition and perform in something so John and my girls get to see me do something I love tremendously. One day.....one day.....!:thumbsup2

V that's so awesome.....I'm soooooooooo jealous of you that you got to do what you love in HS......I didn't discover that I loved dance until I was in NYC and a friend took me to a Jazz class. I fell so hard. Then I studied my butt off.....I did ballet and Jazz for a couple of years with 2 classes a night after work and a 5 hour class on Sat.....then I burnt out and paced myself to 3 classes a week.

I never got to do pointe, but love it and I love lyrical and love musical theatre. I was in an off off off broadway show that a friend wrote and directed when I was in the city and I did a couple of dance productions with my dance studio at the time. It's my passion in life too.

When you get out there and perform again, you let me know because I want to be there to see you.....John and I will make the trip down.

Me, I would love to open a dance studio and hire people to teach and then put on performances and I could take classes everyday all day long and do shows. I would love that. Maybe when we get to Delaware. That's my goal.

True. I just could not get used to Marty McSorely as the color guy last year. He just seemed very... tight, not relaxed. Hopefully the Sharks will have a better 2nd period!!

Lisa, I am doing JB out of LGB, and www.supershuttle.com was 36/39 for the first person then 7/9 for the second person(s). Pick up was 2.5 hours before flight. LGB is a very small airport. On Jetblue, they will give you a sleep kit and they allow guests to use the beverage station all night long.

At the port I think the preferred rental drop off with the shuttle back to the port might be Budget.

Looks like even right now, DL is open on Sundays until midnight, so that will give us at least 10 hours to visit.

Pj

Oh Lisa:

I hear you my friend. Sometimes when we take a small moment to give ourselves a break it seems somewhat selfish. BUT IT ISN'T.

With all you are doing for all in your family you need to give yourself some peace and rest.

With your DH's encouranging you to do it, THEN DO IT!!!!

I'm so glad to hear that you have decided to stay on board, I'm so looking forward to meeting and having fun with you.

I've also been feeling like it's too much to take off from my mom and us being self employeed I'm stressed about leaving potential work, but DH and I have talked and talked this to death over the last few months and we have decided that we need the family ALONE time. While we love our extended family it is a heavy cost in our daily lives to support our parents needs.

I've not posted what has been going on with Paul and his mom, as I've been in a major funk over it, but I will tell you that we have had one heck of a time since 12/30 involving his mom and her drinking issues. A late night call from the hospital and then many days of trying to re-connect with her at the hospital. Due to the nature of the event she was in a lock down facility and it was very trying for Paul to have to deal with his brother and father with them finally openly talking about his mom's drinking problem. His mom and dad have been denying it to us for the last 2-3 years and it has caused a great deal of bad feelings (duh, we can tell if someone is drunk....) we had basically pulled away but for rare occassions for the kids to see their Grandparents(never without us there) ok, I can't keep going into this as I'm starting to get funked out again, so I'm going to pause for now and refocus back to....

I'M SO GLAD YOU ARE GOING LISA and we all need to take time to give ourselves vacation every now and then.

Nan

Thank you for the encouragement. I am going. I have decided. I have not told Frank yet....but he should be fine....my mom....well, she begged me not to go to the MED cruise and I did that.

Sorry about your MIL. When my younger sister died in 1969, we had 10 years of DRUNK H*LL with my mom. I kind of understand now, but then I would hide under the bed so she would not beat me. Then she just stopped drinking....my brothers both say they do not know how she has lived this long....smoking 3 packs a day for 60 years (she quit 2 years ago) and drinking for 10 years straight...never sobering up....It is just amazing how healthy she is for what she has put herself though

3. yes, you can fly out of Long Beach

5. I think DCL will have transport to DL. That would probably be the least stress for you. And I agree with all that you need as little stress as possible on this trip.
Super shuttle back to the airport. They are very easy to work with, pick you up where ever and take you to any airport.

We don't have OCD, we are just organized, lol.

I have to send my excursions to my sugar parents (John and Amy,) and I am so confused, I don't think we will both be able to be on DCL for the booking window without crashing the ressie. I have no clue what to pick, what I am going to do outside of Disney, agh!

PJ

PJ - Don't worry about us . . . not planning on many if any excursions. We are home(ship)bodies.

HS Musical on ice was fun and very well done.

Kaylee - WHAT happened to the Seahawks? When I left for the show, they were up 14-0! Lose 42-20!

it's so wild....my friend and I had such huge dreams. We would sit on the phone all summer and watch Fame together - and then lived it during the school year.....I can say with complete honesty I should have gone to FSU, but had I done that, I would not have my Charming or my girls (and I don;t think I could have stomached it). I have never seen a "show" on DCL. Not the stage shows. I don't think I could make it through it. When I was pg with Samantha I did go see a good friend of ours, who plays softball with John, in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. He was the lead - Jack's character and he was GREAT!! And this guy is a hoot...he was in TJ Hooker, for ONE episode way back when as a scared cop hiding under a desk, but he never lets us forget it!

WOW! There's almost 3000 pages to this trip thread. I was going to read through, see who's crusing, but... that's a lot of reading!!

This is my 3rd Disney cruise (06-1992 Big Red Boat, 05-06-2006 Magic Western). I'll be a stowaway (I'm divorced) on the Ship of Thieves, joining my parents and grandparents. I'm excited for the trip! We're on Deck 6 outside, don't know exactly what category. I'm pretty sure we're on early seating.

Sail on! Any other singles on this trip?

(and go Jags! LOL)

I am not single, but I am sailing without my DH .. only bringing DS18.....
