I forgot to ask....so I take DCL transport to DL (how do I book that?) and spend the day at DL.....then can we walk to a hotel? Where do I stay that night?

I will book super shuttle as soon as I book hotel and air

One of the Disney hotels will probably be the easiest, if there is vacancy.

No, but there was a guy, across the aisle from us, who was breaking out in song, and dancing, and he made me look small, so it was quite the spectacle. He was dancing so much he dropped his cell phone, and was bending over for about 10 minutes trying to find it . . . let's just say he could have used a belt! Glad Amy sat on the aisle!

Karen your extender looked great. How did you decorate it...or more specific, did you have to sew. I can't sew and mine is undecorated right now. Any ideas would be helpful.
BTW, are you up for a group delivery of wine to your hotel before the cruise? I was thinking I'd pack mine, but I'd love to give you the business. PM your website so I can take a look around.

I did mine with printable fabric from Avery. I just did clip art and words, names in Word and Photoshop Elements then printed them on the fabric, then iron them on to the fish extender.

good idea. I know just where to get the iron on fabric, I just need an iron...thats right don't judge me. I don't own an iron. Isn't that what drycleaners are for! hahahaha

I am sooooo soooo soooo jealous. In high school one of my best friends had an entire studio at her house....loved it and spent so much time there. As much as I love ballet and still love it, and although I was thin in hs, I was top heavy and not thin enough to be any sort of ballerina. I loved pointe and can recall when they advanced me to pointe class I think I slept with my shoes for a week. I did hate everyone clunking down on the wood....HATED it. It really took away from everything. To be light on your feet (and 80 lbs) is the point of ballet...and many of my hs classmates never got that.


That was my favorite though along with lyrical. But - musical theatre is really my forte. We have a GREAT arts/theatre area here in Sarasota. I hope in the future I will have the opportunity to audition and perform in something so John and my girls get to see me do something I love tremendously. One day.....one day.....!

Pahrumpgirl (hope I have the spelling right) made the Fish Extender for us, the sewing part.

DD used puffy paints and fabric Disney stickers from Michaels to decorate it!

I love it and I love getting goodies in it!

Oh yes and Linuxwebguy - welcome aboard! I'm caught between the Leafs and the Sharks myself. Can't stand the Maple Laughs but the Sharks losing will kind of help my Canuckleheads. I think my hatred of the Laughs will overpower the need for the Sharks to Lose.

Since disneycruising has cancelled, does anyone else interested in setting this up. I am not a poker player. My husband is interesed in playing, but doesnt want to set it up. I think it is because he has a poker party at our house every other week and doesnt want to deal with it while on vacation. Any takers?

I really think we can get DCL to do this....just go first day, ask for someone to do it...it is just so popular. I would think they already have it planned. Hmmm...I'll think about it, but I just like to play for money! And I think that would be illegal!

Well that is a good thing....on the other hand, we're going to miss all the season finales and my tivo is not going to record and hold 3 weeks worth, it will start erasing the older programs to make room for the newer ones. So I don't think I'm going to get to see any finale until the summer in reruns.

One word....Slingbox! Just go to wireless place, sign on and you can watch your shows!

I'm not a fan of the multi-quote, for me! I have tried it and forget what I was going to say!!!

I just right click on the Quote and open my response in a new window, write what I want, submit it and then I am still back on the page that I am reading.

I usually am so far behind, I'm always reluctant to do the right click in case I post something that has already had final word about...maybe if I can keep on top of things, I'll go back to the right click. It is very useful.

Back from the hospital. This exactly the help I need. Thank you so much!!

1. I found Thursday before the Cruise IAD (Dulles) to Orlando non stop on Jet Blue $59..don't think I can beat that. I will book that tomorrow.

2. Dulles ( or Reagan or BWI).. but I can just about walk to Dulles airport

3. I think we get to LA early Sunday (right?) ...so if I can fly out Monday morning (holiday right?) we can spend Sunday at the park. I have been there once and remember it being small. I looked at Jet Blue Southwest and Air Tran. On Jet Blue Direct flight Long Beach to IAD $169. Air Tran 1 stop LAX to IAD $149. Can we fly out our Long Beach?

4. I want to rent a car (have to be AVIS right?)....go to the parks Thursday and Friday, stay at WDW somewhere (help me) and drive to the port early Sat morning and drop off the car.......dies that make sence?

5. How will get from the ship in LA to Disneyland? to the Hotel? the to the airport on Monday morning??

Answered already, yes you can fly out of Long Beach. I'd stay at a Disney hotel and you can have a transport arranged through DCL. I went on-line and it required a 2-night stay, which was about $800 for the two nights. Maybe call and see if you can get one night. Otherwise, can you do two nights? The $800 included a 3-day pass so I'm sure you can get it cheaper by calling directly.

5. I think DCL will have transport to DL. That would probably be the least stress for you. And I agree with all that you need as little stress as possible on this trip.
Super shuttle back to the airport. They are very easy to work with, pick you up where ever and take you to any airport.

We were on the Nov. 2006 Costa Maya double dip with clynne and family. They are some of the nicest people one could ever hope to meet. We will miss them on this cruise.

You can do it per stateroom or person, it is up to the group. Usually, the team will chose one gift, but you can have muliple gifts per team...really, there aren't rules here (at least I am not supporting rules!). This is simply a giving activity so whatever one gives is appreciated!
