True. I just could not get used to Marty McSorely as the color guy last year. He just seemed very... tight, not relaxed. Hopefully the Sharks will have a better 2nd period!!

McSorley? Didn't know that. I would be glad to be rid of him too! Even if Winnie the Pooh was the colour guy it would be an improvement ove Marty!

I am warning you... The teams I have picked tonight aren't having much luck. And as I write this the Laughs score again ... Maybe I'll start to cheer for them.

I just boxed up all my dance and theatre shirts in hopes I can find someone to do a t-shirt quilt for me. Otherwise they are going to goodwill. Dd the same with John's track stuff.....I wish I had any college items but don't at least my gma saved my hs stuff (but now she wants it out.....) Selling the house she thinks!

V is on the Geek team. I'm an "honorary" member (we were scheduled to go on the Geek double dip cruise and then DH had to go and get a promotion and he couldn't take the time off, imagine that?!?!)

it's so wild....my friend and I had such huge dreams. We would sit on the phone all summer and watch Fame together - and then lived it during the school year.....I can say with complete honesty I should have gone to FSU, but had I done that, I would not have my Charming or my girls (and I don;t think I could have stomached it). I have never seen a "show" on DCL. Not the stage shows. I don't think I could make it through it. When I was pg with Samantha I did go see a good friend of ours, who plays softball with John, in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. He was the lead - Jack's character and he was GREAT!! And this guy is a hoot...he was in TJ Hooker, for ONE episode way back when as a scared cop hiding under a desk, but he never lets us forget it!

You have to believe that everything happens for a reason and we made our choices and we're happy with them. Now we just want to add a little more of our favorite things as we can into our lives. We will! When the timing is right.

Have you considered taking the girls to dance classes? They might love it.

We bring our Mickey gloves also!


They do not care how much you bring on board. If there are liquids in it ship to the hotel, if not ship to the port and let them haul it onboard for you.

I love Kayak, but it does not include Southwest. I search Kayak then check Southwest and go from there. What I really like about Kayak is that the cost they quote is the TOTAL cost, unlike Southwest where the quote does not include all the extra charges. For instance, our $99 fare on SW was really $112. Still good, but no $99.

I think you are familiar with the fish extenders right? They are those mail box things you hang outside your door (on a fish plaque - hence the name). Anyway, I talk as if I am in the know but actually I've never done this before. What I have heard....you leave your fish extender mail thing outside your door and during the cruise, you will get mail...little gifts left in your fish mail extender. If you'd like to give gifts to those with fish mail extenders, but you don't want to either (a) brainstorm the gift idea alone or (b) pay for the gift alone or (c) hand out the gifts alone, you can join a group of other DISers and become a fish mail team. So far, we have teams for about 9 of the days. Each team has a team leader and that person communicates with the rest of their team to help accomplish (a), (b), and (c) listed above. The budget is individual - each team can come up with their own budget. If it gets too expensive, you can ask for more members of your team to bring down the overall costs.

Does that make sense? I think there is also an explaination on page 1, but I didn't double check that.

Ok for all Mac users I have put together a iCal for the cruise events, both DCL and DIS. The link is on the shipboard page of the website, click on the icon, and once on the iCal website you can subscribe and then upload to your ipod or other device. The iCal will update each time we/I add events to the calendar.

No joke. And it was interesting, Marty left during the middle of the Detroit series last May for "personal reasons," but from speculation it sounds like he told the front office where to go after a disagreement.

2nd period wasn't good either... should I stay up and hope the 3rd is better? or just go to bed... LOL

5. I think DCL will have transport to DL. That would probably be the least stress for you. And I agree with all that you need as little stress as possible on this trip.
Super shuttle back to the airport. They are very easy to work with, pick you up where ever and take you to any airport.

I forgot to ask....so I take DCL transport to DL (how do I book that?) and spend the day at DL.....then can we walk to a hotel? Where do I stay that night?

I must say, since we bought the CD and we HAVE to listen to in every time we are in the car, I find myself singing at work, especially Summertime, Fabulous and All for One.

Haley is tooooo cute....she'll break out with....ICE TEA, and then a little later......TOWELS.....her attempt at Fabulous.

No, but there was a guy, across the aisle from us, who was breaking out in song, and dancing, and he made me look small, so it was quite the spectacle. He was dancing so much he dropped his cell phone, and was bending over for about 10 minutes trying to find it . . . let's just say he could have used a belt! Glad Amy sat on the aisle!

Looks the the game is tied heading into halftime. Although here in an hour, I'm changing over to watch the San Jose Sharks hockey game. I'll have to keep tabs on the Jags/Pats game tho too.

my mom called tonight. She is trying to book a room in the next couple of weeks at WDW....and she tried three different CM's.....she says to me, they want to charge me $50 more on the weekend!!! I said that's new this year mom! Why we haven't booked ESPN weekend yet.....! I just can't grasp it, since we have been going for so long. But - hey, after staying at that 3 room condo on a mystery shop, I have no problem staying offsite. Well, not really!

V... Are you going for ESPN weekend? I may be down there for a regular trip from 3/1-3/9... I need to take more disney time!!!
