I might bring my Mac Book Pro. We took in on the last cruise but did not really use it. I had to bail Peggy and her antiquated digital camera out of a storage issue .. The iPods will come along, the kids PSP and Game Boy.

Heck I might even bring my highest tech gear yet.. Clynne.

Since we seem to be comparing gadgets and you both have macbooks...what do you think of them? I was in the mac store yesterday looking. I have a 15 m old Dell laptop that has given me nothing but headaches since I got it and everyone has said Mac's are so much better. Any opinions?????

When we travel, we are a bit lighter, but we have....2 laptops, 4 Ipods (dd's have one each too), 3 digital cameras (dh's, dd's, and mine), 3 cell phones and occasionally our small picture printer!

When we go on this cruise we will have:
3 Video ipos, 1 shuffle, 2 laptops, 4 cell phones, 1 fuji digial finpix, 2 kodak digitals, 1 mini camcorder/camera and 1 dvd camcorder. I haven't even gotten to the personal stuff like curling irons!!!

Oh, and don't get me started on the shoes!!!!

It appears that this is Ship of Geeks Part Deux!!! Ipods and powerbooks and cell phones oh my!! Reminds me that I need to buy TWO of those octopus power strips so I can recharge all the toys we are bringing. Is it possible to cause a black out on the Magic? Is this the group that could do it? Anyone else having visions of the Captain running down to the basement to keep replacing fuses?

Slow night and we are quiet...so I am going back to loading movies on the ipod.

If I were to dare ask my Husband anyting about Disney, he mightr divorce me!! He is not going on this cruise with me....but we are sailing together to the Med, Westbound Repor and 08 Thanksgiving....

DH has a Blackberry, and I hate that thing. There's absolutely no getting away from work, even on vacation. He's part of the Whitehouse press pool, so he gets constant, and I do mean constant, e-mail updates. Do I care what the president ate for lunch today or whether he did or did not go on a bike ride after church? NO! He'd better be careful on the cruise or it's going overboard. LOL. I shouldn't complain, his crazy work schedule is what is paying for our cruise.

WHITEHOUSE Press Pool.....it says you live in IOWA!! We have several neighbors and friends who work in the White House and in the Press Corp...but we LIVE in DC!!

Who has the current count on number of days before we cruise?! I still need to download a day counter.

My son, who will be in medical school next year, used to make fun of my Mac loyalty. Well, he has decided that his new laptop for med school next year.

Where is he going to Med school? My niece (like my own child) just graduated from Georgetown MED. She is a first year Doctor at Fairfax Hospital.....called today to complain that she has to say at the hospital all night...and will miss a big party. Guess they never change!!
